At least the Jets don’t owe the Packers a first round pick in 2025. What was so painful with the Hackett and Wilson combo, each loss only helped Seattle. Similar to the Jets, the NFL had so many premium games to show the Nation how bad that trade was between Denver and Seattle. I think the owner will have to blow up the team and the new coach and GM have to be able to make the decision to use Rodgers as a bridge quarterback or move on from him. Not a Rodgers fan but even I think this hate against Rodgers is going too far. The kicker lost the last game. If he didn't miss the 4 points the Jets got a win and the narrative would be different now. I don't even believe Rodgers fired Saleh. I seriously believe it was because of the flag he wore. No owner wants to deal with sensitive political tension. I feel sorry for Rodgers everything he says is on microscope and would be taken out of context. How can you play well with so much hate?
The part that blows my mind is how much of the sport media believed so hard that this 40-year old quarterback coming off an Achilles injury and with one foot in retirement could possibly lead this on-paper somewhat talented, but DEEPLY flawed (especially on the O-Line) football team to the Super Bowl. I never saw it, because Aaron was mediocre his last season with the Packers.
As Bills fan hearing all the Miami and Jets talk being picked to take over AFC East all offseason, and hearing Rodgers arrogant talk, and now seeing the Jets mess -- and living in the NY metro area, I'm loving this disaster.
As a packers fan in Buffalo, even some of the ppl here bought into that nonsense. Morale is high in Buffalo now. I saw right through it, bc I’ve watched him play, and he was steadily declining after 2020 (2019 wasn’t insane for him either) I was genuinely shocked when Rodgers won MVP in 2021 (though I believe the 2020 one was warranted). He was checked out, refused to work with the team, be sensible and cooperate with the front office so they could try to put a good team around him. And by 2022 I could tell he wasn’t what he once was. He could still elevate at times but there was a major lack of veteran leadership that he’s displayed as of late (which got so bad Lafluer had to basically take his keys bc Rodgers doing his own thing was running the team into the ground). THAT is why we took Love, we needed insurance against Rodgers’ BS and they knew at the very least Love could put the same level of pedestrian performance Rodgers had in ‘22. Fast forward, he did, and bc he has some years in the team the VETERAN LEADERSHIP is back! Sorry for the rant. I rest my case

As a fellow Jets fan, I don't know if I should scream, or cry, or just walk away from the team permanently. I don't know... There is no fixing this until Woody Johnson is gone and they find the right coaches to change the culture. Like Dan Campbell did with the Lions.
The issue is that attitude reflects leaderhip, and Rodgers has never faced adversity in his life. He, and therfore, his team, have no idea how to overcome it. And I'm here for it!
ROdgers has faced adversity before. Mike McCarthy's last two years and his own last year in GB. He blamed everyone else, threw WR's under the bus, undermined coaches to get them fired and never took any accountability.
Actually he didn't because the Packers made multiple key acquisitions after Favre left. Charles Woodson, and Ryan Pickett for two. They also went out and got a Capers and wrung one top 5 season on D out of him.
There should be a segment alone for Sour Rich, so he can vent out his frustration with the NY Jets and Yankees! But I think he would be more Intune with venting out his Jets frustration.
@@travistotleIt’s mostly because the Jets love to talk about how they’re improving and getting close to winning, and never do. They frequently have swag that they didn’t earn.

I was sick of hearing about the jets before the season started, and the media was shoving them down our throats calling them SB contenders. Now that the games have started, and they’re imploding, I can’t get enough. More jets run please! Oh, and thanks for the head coach - Packer fan
I'm a massive patriots fan. My best friend in the whole world is a Jets fan. I thought these years would be excellent with us transitioning needing to be better and the Jets looking like a pretty good team but needing good coaching staff. To my dismay this year is absolutely terrible for me being a friend of a Jets fan. The moment the Jets got Aaron Rodgers I knew it was a mistake. But I tried to be supportive. I was hoping I would be wrong but as we go down this long path of slow decay it's obvious that My best friend is going to suffer again for another year just because he's a Jets fan.
The Jets have the longest playoff drought in pro sports. They always have drama. They are an inherently dysfunctional franchise. The fact that some people had them in the superbowl is insanity.
From Wikipedia: On October 23, 2024, Packers coach Matt LaFleur confirmed to reporters that he had enlisted Saleh in a consultant role to help him with the offensive gameplan, but that his role would be "fluid". Good for him... But Go Lions! 🦁
As a New England Patriots fan since they were the Boston Patriots, as you noted Mr. Eisen, nothing gladdens my heart like beating The New York Jets, especially like they did Sunday. And the fact that Aaron Rodgers was leading the Offense, makes is ten times as sweet. If The Pats don't win any more games, and go 2-15, I'm good. I've seen it before.
"Aaron, it's not darkness, it's called camping and you're not special for doing it" I figured 8-9 was their likely record this year with an aging has-been, but this is just delightful to see happen. Dude shoulda retired after 2021.

5:58 looks like they're taking the Jets out behind Rich
There it is !!!!
FINALLY !! Thank you adm !!
As a Giants fan AND Rogers hater i'm loving the JETS MISERY HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
SAME OLD PATHETIC ,LAUGHABLE, FRANCHISE : NY JETS ladies and gentlemen .
Same here! 😂
I have been waiting for this rant all day
Don't worry, once the Jets are eliminated fomr the playoffs they will start winning games to ruin their draft spot.
As a fellow Jets fan, I don't know if I should scream, or cry, or just walk away from the team permanently. I don't know...
There is no fixing this until Woody Johnson is gone and they find the right coaches to change the culture. Like Dan Campbell did with the Lions.
EVERYONE GET IN HERE
Thank you Aaron and team, for giving this Patriots fan a reason to smile.
YOU were 1 and 6 and your smiling...That's a Patriot fan...Good luck with that...
@@petedetraglia4776 yup, now we are 2 and 6 after beating a team that was supposed to be good this year. Bahaha
Bills fan here who, for the first time rooted hard for the Pat's this weekend! The Jets stink!
Rodgers won a Super Bowl with Favre’s team
Actually he didn't because the Packers made multiple key acquisitions after Favre left. Charles Woodson, and Ryan Pickett for two. They also went out and got a Capers and wrung one top 5 season on D out of him.
@@chriskay1449 All good points. The offense was very heavy "Favre-like". Perhaps a future as a GM after football isn't in his future
Now I wouldn't want to wish an injury on most people, but I'd at least like to see an entire game with Tyrod Taylor under center.
I LOVE RICH EISEN
There should be a segment alone for Sour Rich, so he can vent out his frustration with the NY Jets and Yankees! But I think he would be more Intune with venting out his Jets frustration.
Sauce Gardner gave up the big pass play at the games end. Sauce is having a terrible year. He is only average.
And that play was from an average quarterback to an average at best receiver.
You think this Rogers stuff is crazy now? Wait untill a year from now when he is in charge of the department of health with RFK.......
Smiling from ear to ear right now. All that preseason talk of how the Jets were for real this year. I called this I am happy to say.
I really don't get why so many people take such glee in making fun of a fanbase that has known nothing but SUFFERING for decades
@@travistotleIt’s mostly because the Jets love to talk about how they’re improving and getting close to winning, and never do. They frequently have swag that they didn’t earn.
Rich is Charlie Brown and the New York Jets are Lucy pulling the football away
I guess there are more issues than Robert Saleh
George Costanza could turn them around. That’s a man who’s seen the darkness and laughed through it
Finally.
Long time Jets fan here. Woody Johnson is not a good owner. At some point ownership has to take responsibility for putting out a bad product year after year, rebuild after rebuild. Woody should sell the Jets to a real football person. I think Gary Vaynerchuk would be a great owner.
People who exude the toxicity of Rodgers will grenade a locker room.
Regards from Cleveland.
Rich I’m a long time fan of both you and this team but we just need to let it burn rebuild and have a real chance 2026 with a clean roster
This is what Jets fans deserve after letting Rodgers call the shots
the fans? they had nothing to do with it
Things went south for the Jets when they Signed AR!!
Things have been going south for the jets since 1969 😂 😂
You have a MAGA asshot for a owner. What do you expect.
Social Media hyped up the NYJ more than anybody else 🤦🏾♂️ They kick u when ur dwn but LOVE u when your doing good!
God bless the Jets!!! They are a cultural landmark and a welcome relief in the over-serious sport of professional football.
The Patriots send their regards
I was sick of hearing about the jets before the season started, and the media was shoving them down our throats calling them SB contenders. Now that the games have started, and they’re imploding, I can’t get enough. More jets run please! Oh, and thanks for the head coach - Packer fan
Darnold and Wilson gotta love watching this.
Wilson is watching from the bench....We can give 2 sh!ts...Darnold took like 6 years to develop...
...and Gino Smith
I'm a massive patriots fan. My best friend in the whole world is a Jets fan. I thought these years would be excellent with us transitioning needing to be better and the Jets looking like a pretty good team but needing good coaching staff. To my dismay this year is absolutely terrible for me being a friend of a Jets fan. The moment the Jets got Aaron Rodgers I knew it was a mistake. But I tried to be supportive. I was hoping I would be wrong but as we go down this long path of slow decay it's obvious that My best friend is going to suffer again for another year just because he's a Jets fan.
"I bet you are done hearing about the Jets" nah, this is entertaining as heck
2-5 Dolphins sniffing the wild card is crazy
I really feel for Rich Eisen, he's a true fan and taking it on the chin.
During the bye week, Rodgers should spend more time in Egypt to find enlightenment instead of practicing with the team😂😂😂
Feeling for you, Rich!
The Jets have the longest playoff drought in pro sports. They always have drama. They are an inherently dysfunctional franchise. The fact that some people had them in the superbowl is insanity.
The Jet's need to bring back Rex Ryan!!
As a lifelong Pats fan, this was awesome
Love to see the Jets in complete disarray 😂
From Wikipedia: On October 23, 2024, Packers coach Matt LaFleur confirmed to reporters that he had enlisted Saleh in a consultant role to help him with the offensive gameplan, but that his role would be "fluid".
Good for him... But Go Lions! 🦁
As a Detroit Lions fan for 50+ years, I can say that sometimes it's all about the team's ownership, and that is exactly the case with the NY Jets.
It isn't the ownership. It is Aaron Rodgers. Period.
As a fully vaccinated individual I'm loving this
Rodgers is a has been qb for a few years now. Only the media kept praising him like he's all that. He won one sb and hasn't done much since.
“Just relax “ the season is half over stick a fork in its over !
I’m just mad that after all these decades I let Hard Knocks get me all hype for last year, & NOTHING CHANGED
4th & goal
Straight up the gut
and killed the jets season!
Pats fans need not bow to anyone.
"Aaron, it's not darkness, it's called camping and you're not special for doing it"
I figured 8-9 was their likely record this year with an aging has-been, but this is just delightful to see happen. Dude shoulda retired after 2021.
It's the same thing that happenned a while ago with the Eagles and the "dream team". Having a lot of talented palyers doesn't lead to success just by itself. You need leadership.
