This is super helpful! I have a 2nd channel that is mostly just a bunch of lectures (me talking to the camera) with Powerpoints with a picture-in-picture style of edit. This essentially does all of that automatically.

I'm thinking of doing videos on basic accounts but want to show some bank statements and don't know how to hide my personal details while showing them on my online account.

Hi Aurelius-san, I reall really wanted to use Tella but it seems a little costly for a beginner to make RUclips videos. Still I'm considering Tella but also I'm looking for other alternative tools like Loom app. I was wondering if you could recommend any apps that are easy to use, cost under $10 per month, and are optimized for recording instructions. I would like to record videos using the built-in camera and screen sharing on my Mac.

I use Screenflow for my RUclips videos as my team works with that. However, for everything else, Tella has been such a valuable tool for my team and me.

Would this tool be good to record a reaction video? I’m guessing the video could be playing in RUclips and a person may record themselves reacting to the video
I can absolutely see someone using Tella for that purpose! You would simply select the tab/window and record yourself too. During editing, you simply crop everything except for the main video.

@@TellaHQ oh it’s been a painful process so far. Recording two separate videos- one screen recording with audio and another one with my face in it . Then syncing the two with audio waveforms and still not having the original video’s audio available, so painfully syncing another audio file to do that. Here’s an example- ruclips.net/video/PHR0MkgNSJ8/видео.html I’m sure there are better ways of doing so, that’s why I asked the question here. On Think Media’s channel, they mentioned you can use streamyard to do reaction videos without much editing, so I figured Tella could do it too after watching Aurelius’s video.
I hope they eventually will add the ability to add music or audio. I’d also love it if we could add images or elements ourselves into the timeline! If so far, insanely awesome tool!
