To imply that they made sacrifices is to say they gave up something. Everyone of those actors made out big time. Bill Nighy had the smallest salary out of all of them... he still made $8 million for his role. The rest of them were paid tens of millions.

He's been in some of the biggest movies everyone knows. First film I see him in was Underworld.
He was great in The Boat That Rocked, awesome seeing him in Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Made an appearance in HP, among a tonne of other films and at least 4 upcoming films.
He's also had multiple awards and nominations. He's one of the best cases of coming from a working class family and making it big. Which is why he is so humble and well liked.

The restricted movement was so noticeable and it definitely added to the feeling of fighting on a ship in a storm
Every actor in these movies was phenomenal. Even the small ones, the pairs of pirates/Brits, does an excellent job. Gore Verbinski’s direction blows me away every time. Almost a perfect trilogy; unless you’re one of the people that gets annoyed at the pirate lore in the last two. Personally I LOVE the pirate lore.
Peter said it best, when you give the actor as much as you can to physically work with. They start to react more than act

It's so sad to me that he's never watched the films. He never watches any of his films. But in that interview he makes it sound like he didn't enjoy the role that much. But if he's never seen the films, then he's never seen his full character. I feel like he doesn't realize how awesome of a villain he played

I remember I was in high school in 2007 when At World's End was coming out. I had to study for exams, but instead I went to see Pirates 3. The Maelstrom was one of the most epic final battles I ever witnessed on screen, particularly since it was closing out the trilogy.

Ik it's sad what Disney has become! The Woke extremists pushing their agendas on everyone, incl children. And to cancel JD before he had his day in a "Real Court" with a judge & jury & where AH was a party to the lawsuit, so she was forced to provide things she didn't in the UK. It's just disgusting what Disney did to him, as well as WB! And after 4.5 mil signatures after tge trial to remove the Real abuser from Aquaman 2, they kept her in! The f'ing nerve! Won't watch that either & what a shame for the other actors in Aquaman 2! Sooo many ppl will be boycotting that movie. They pay the price for WB's horrible decisions & so does a decent franchise! I won't be watching anymore Pirates either if JD isn't in it! He IS Pirates! Plenty of other good actors but he MADE that franchise!
JD seems to have reached the spiritual level of being able to accept things as they are and just being humbly grateful for what IS.

I miss the time when Disney made movies with real passion and love.
This battle and all the battles in these movies are incredible. The chaotic well planned scenes are fantastic and im proud of these actors creating these scenes.
I love seeing Barbosa during that whole scene. He’s really just like “I’ve wanted to let loose this whole time FINALLY I HAVE THE CHANCE” and you can absolutely see it when he takes the helm from Cotton
It was so worth it, it's one of the best climactic battles of any movie.
I legitimately never thought about the fact that that is a long section of the movie in the rain

When it comes to like jaw dropping action movie climactic battles, this one was probably the first one I was old enough to REALLY appreciate. It’s up there with End game, deathly hallows, return of the king. Truly the best fight scene in the franchise at least.
It’s insane how much effort went into it but I’m glad they did it. One of the best moments in the entire series

I think this is the only boss fight outside of Lord of the Rings that felt fulfilling.

Maybe for a short while but not for 10 weeks! Even if it's not really cold, when you get wet, you get cold, pruned up & miserable. But I love how JD looks happy as a kid & isn't complaining at all! He's truly an amazing person, esp if he bought everyone coats, which I wouldn't put past him at all. Although he's very much an introvert, he really gives as much of himself to his fans as humanly possible. He has to be pulled away after extended periods of signing autographs & giving selfies! And his visits to children's hospitals are just amazing! You can tell he gives the best hugs that are so full of care! There are some days I'd give anything for a hug like that bc my husband is working out of state. He's the genuine, authentic, gentle & loving soul!

All I can say is, it was worth it. Up to today, Pirates of the Caribbean is still my favorite movie series of all time, and trust me, that's says a lot.
