Let's be real. Cyborg would have beat her in a rematch. When they both came out just swinging wild, it could have been either of them to get KOd. Amanda even got stumbled for a second. UFC wouldn't allow the rematch even though Cyborg was undefeated for like a decade and had soundly beaten everybody else. Even though he gives ALL of his dominant champions immediate rematches. He knew that it was a damn fluke but hates Cyborg and wanted to protect his golden goose. Amanda has been soundly beaten multiple times. She is NOT the female GOAT. She's a very, VERY good fighter and I'd definitely rank her #2, but Cyborg is STILL the best female fighter, period.

The double champ status means nothing when the UFC has like 3 people in the 145lb division, and most of them usually fight 135 LOL! Dana had to protect her from a Cyborg rematch because he knew that she had gotten super lucky with that win. He gives ALL of his dominant champions immediate rematches. Sometimes he even turns it into a trilogy of fights. He hated Cyborg so he did everything possible to make sure it didn't happen. Amanda has been beaten soundly several times. Cyborg lost her very first fight, and once more to Nunes when she wasn't fighting smart. That fight should have been run back immediately. She's been dominating again ever since. Nunes got choked out 2 fights ago.

Its ok to lose, but not to fight is embarrassing. She shouldn't have taken the fight. At least go out on your shield. Aldana will regret that her whole life.
