The amp might last long enough to say hey listen to me from 6 blocks away then your car/truck tries to compete with a EV firea.
I would call this a win regardless because there's amps out there now for 150-250 that don't meet spec or intentionally claim huge power that they will never hope to meet. The only issue is whether the quality of sound is any good because more power doesn't always mean more better.

Impressive, and I know it doesn't matter for performance, but this actually looks nice IMHO. My 1st car amp back in the mid 90's was a Performance Teknique(sp?) which looked like a damn toy. It was one of the cheapest looking amp I've ever seen. It didn't cost much, but from the fake chrome looking plastic housing it looked like it should have cost even less lol. And while I had no means of actually testing the claimed output. There's no way in hell it got anywhere close to the big ass 1500 watts font that was plastered on the fake chrome.
So who are the key players nowadays in car audio? I used to compete in IASCA in the early 90s. Ran MB Quart, JL Audio, Precision Power, Audio Control and a Sony Mobile ES head unit. Then i heard most of those companys got bought out by one company. I'm looking to put a stealth system in my CX-90 and i want good quality sound and equipment. Any recommendations?

8:33 Yo Big D! You should do an episode where you explain the positives and negatives of these components that you talk about. Not all of us know what a 3300uf 63v 105° C capacitor is capable of. The rabbit hole gets deep quick when going into specifics but I understand the desire to understand more. RUclipsr’s like Barevids go into deep detail about the amps components and designs and he may be a good source to check out if you want to dive deeper 👍

Yo Big D!
You should do an episode where you explain the positives and negatives of these components that you talk about. Not all of us know what a 3300uf 63v 105° C capacitor is capable of. Or what the different types of transistors and MOSFETs do. Just an idea from a nerd who is only partially informed.
The rabbit hole gets deep quick when going into specifics but I understand the desire to understand more. RUclipsr’s like Barevids go into deep detail about the amps components and designs and he may be a good source to check out if you want to dive deeper 👍
Bro 2kw for $84 is a winner.
I just check the amp out and its $249 now, At walmart and amazon
Just wanted to say, I have no clue with what or when, but thanks to this video, I just ordered this amp
Hopefully the reliability is there…
If not, it’s only $82!
I’ve made so many random purchases based off Williston videos.
I’m just here to inform da peeps 😬
@@wal and in the process, shown me many pieces that have ended up in my collection.
They may end up in one of my own installs or one for a friend or even a random home project.
BUT
I’ve not once been lead wrong.
And definitely appreciate that. It’s a hard quality to find in a channel.
Thanx for that
I need a long-term review to see how long it can bump for
At 1 ohm probably a minute or 2 before you'll need an extinguisher..
I remember owning my first car which was a later module dodge Daytona with the flip headlight. I bought the car because it had 2 - 15 inch Nakamichi subs in it! They sounded GOOD!! 🙂
What year dodge daytona was it? I had a 90/91 es daytona that I crashed and then kept it (didn't look crashed just under carriage bent up) but mine was all red w red ground effects (not gray) and I wonder where the car went i would love to find the car again and restore it. Had power everything
Anyways I had a custom box that filled entire hatch with 2 12s facing rear. It sounded amazing. The box performed very well. I wonder what yr you had?
That box could have easily had 15s if someone wanted to increase the holes lol I had JL audio subs but took those out when I sold the car
Have you ever explained (with pictures) the difference between full bridge and, well, less than full bridge? Could you? Add in A/B?
I'd watch it.
Barevids has done this. He has some great vids, check him out
For under 100 bucks, this is a win
Budget king, for that price, buy one and just keep it around as a spare in case you blow one.
Good job covering the serial number in text and not in barcode, proud owner of NAA16*****-10 lmao
Had this in my cart since the sale started 😂
nice for the price cant be mad at that
