New signals in place but not yet in use? That tree must have only just fallen. Did the train crew report it? I'm surprised they didn't make an emergency stop
BNSF is taking down the searchlight signals and installing the signaling for PTC. Yea, that tree fell sometime after we got there, it had been raining all day. Don't know if they reported it, but they were coming around a corner, no way they could have stopped in time. Thanks for watching my friend!

We were waiting about 15 minutes for the train and when I got back to my camera you could see the tree down, but it looked like it was parallel to the tracks, really couldn't tell it was across the track until the train appeared!
