This was one of the highlights of the show. So glad I was there. The 2nd show was better by a mile. The energy of the true Metallica Family was epic!

This was definitely my favorite performance of the night, I hope this is the performance they use in theaters because the energy was off the charts, I'm extremely happy I was there and experienced this.
Skippy did you attend both shows?? We were there Friday (as part of the true Metallica family btw), and I thought the energy was great. Can’t speak to Sunday because I wasn’t there but I thought it was great from my vantage point. The only thing I would say is that James really strained his voice during the first set Friday and by U3 I began to feel terrible for him. You could tell how much he was struggling. Nervous energy and probably pushed too hard early on. But I did feel the crowd overall could sense the change in his energy and became subdued a bit. But after intermission, whatever he did worked and I thought the intensity built up to a full on Metallica show in the second set.
I wasnt going to come back for the encore but when I woke up Sunday, something told me I had better get my ass to church and I was right. We gave Metallica just as much as they gave us. The movie was made Sunday night! Great job Metallica family 🖤🤘
I live in ohio so I dodnt make the live show, but I did see it in the theatres which was light years away from live but still better than nothing.
They're amazing and not favorite band since 1985 when I found a cassette of master of puppets in our school parking lot.

The crowd at the end of Memory was amazing.... I was there. What an absolute highlight. Walking around SF and seeing Metallica fans from around the world. It was truly amazing! Can't wait for the album, the movie and everything. What a great experience. Thanks for the upload.
Seeing the fans from around the world was almost as enjoyable as the show. The international flavor was definitely noticed.

Then you could feel the European Festival vibes with the singing and chanting! Thank you again for uploading

@@trulsdirio To be fair, just because he went to rehab doesn't mean he's no longer sober. He may have went back to rehab to make sure he didn't fall off the wagon with the anniversary of Cliff's death. I'm sure he'll talk about it plenty in the years to come.

If you watch this and then watch the audio of this same song from night one, it’s clear he changed a lot of his vocals. Probably trying to get different variations of certain verses for the eventual dvd/cd release.

Well, the symphony sounded louder and better live than what I could hear in the official videos.
The second night was definitely a lot better than the first one. All the club members had a great time 🙏🙏🙏🙏
OneDayOfPiece was the set list the same cause in the movie they show the first half of night one and the second half of night two just curious if the set lists were the same

Nothing against Confusion but there was amazing oportunity to finally play Fixxer, Orion, To Live Is To Die or Sanitarium...I´m so dissapointed :-(
There were always going to be songs we wish they'd included, but I gotta say the orchestral enhancements for Confusion sounded pretty awesome. The beginning ended up sounding a lot like "Mars, The Bringer Of War" from Holst's "The Planets".
How can you be disappointed? They cant play all their songs, they are also playing with an Orchestra, you cant expect the Orchestra to play some of their songs even though the Orchestra played their hearts out, they did a fantastic job

Not sure why the conductor needs to be out there at this point. The musicians are spread around the stage in a circle so most can't see him, they are all looking down at their music stands/music. Go have a coffee and relax dude. You did good work getting them all ready. :)

Metallica problem number 1. Playing heavy songs way to fast. All the heavy dynamics in the song is gone. I really don´t know why they keep doing that. Sad, bells, harvester, unforgiven etc etc
