Was the only curry we had when I was a child growing up. We used Keen's curry powder. I loved it. Fast track 50 years I'm working in an Aged Care Facility and cook serves the residents curried sausages and I'm like yummo I've gotta have me some o dat ;) will be making this recipe today :)
Great recipe. 👍 very similar to the recipe my family has made for many years. We include worcestershire sauce and our home-made tomato sauce as well. Fantastic comfort food!
Great that we can all have our own opinions 😊 If you didn’t like it you don’t have to make it again. We had it for dinner tonight and everyone loved it. So I’ll make this again & again! Thanks for another keeper Nagi.
Looks tasty, i have never had curried sausage before, will have to make this, but i would boil the carrots a bit before adding them into the curry as they take a bit to get soft. I still like my curry prawns and curry meat pies that i make :) Cheers From Australia
Sorry I just made this trying to reference the video, the step by step on the website with no measurements and the ingredient list that does have measurements, I stupidly followed the recipe on the video only was this not supposed to have flour? And cream!?
Just made this and can't say I'm a fan of the curry powder and stock mix. Also the carrots need to be steamed otherwise they're undercooked and hard/crunchy (unless you like that). I'll be making this again but using japanese curry roux instead.
@@nathanielbrown1648 no there is nothing in any of these ingredients to thicken water and make it that glossy. A thickening agent must have been used, by the looks of it it's probably cornflour or arrowroot starch.
I'ma make something like this for dinner let's hope my mum and siblings will like it I'll be back when done Edit Thay Loved it I even made my secret sauce and Thay loved It more I'm so happy however I used chicken it was more of a tomato soup with rice and secret sauce aanndd chicken no pees no ok y'all get the point it was not this I just made tomato soup with chicken and rice
Sorry Nagi that’s norr how you make curry sausages. The old school way with blanched sausage skin removed or the sausages from woolies. The way mums used to make them.

▢ 2 garlic cloves , minced
▢ 1 onion , halved and sliced
▢ 1 carrot , peeled, sliced on the diagonal
▢ 1 tbsp curry powder , or more
▢ 3 tbsp flour , any type

▢ 1 tsp sugar
▢ 1/2 tsp salt , plus more to taste

love it. thanks!
Do you thicken the sauce with corn flour or anything? Or is that how it comes out?
Came here to ask this, as the recipe on Nagi's website says to add flour but I don't see her add it in the video
Classic!
Thank you.
When do you add the flour couldn't see it being added in the video..❤
i see so many people mess with curried sausages its simple and perfect don't screw with it shahhaa
Sorry I just made this trying to reference the video, the step by step on the website with no measurements and the ingredient list that does have measurements, I stupidly followed the recipe on the video only was this not supposed to have flour? And cream!?
No
i will try this one
Hmmm... I could use S&B Golden Curry in this! Instead of the peas, capcicum, or sweet mini peppers! Voila! Curried Sausage & Peppers!
Can I substitute the stock for thickened cream?
Is this similar to Japanese curry?

Hey Nagi - You forgot the flour before adding the stock :)! How did it still come out not too watery ?
Simmering it does the job I believe!
What stock it is?

she commented she forgot to add the part where she added flour to thicken.
