These guys are like, one of the few guitar companies that are actually doing something interesting right now. Who needs another clone? There are already a million of those out there.
As usual, Gamechanger Audio is one of the few pedal companies that really tries to innovate. There's no need on this planet for another tubescreamer clone, we need new sounds and possibilities. These guys really stick to their name!
It's great that people like the guys at Gamechanger Audio exist. Those 3 new pedals are really cool. The fact that you can infulence the effects with your playing dynamics is really gamechanger.
Very Cool, Thankyou. These guys are SO amazing. I thought the "Bigsby Pedal" was so awesome, but these pedals are another world. Nice Work. And awesome playing as Always Pete. All the Best. Cheers
The Boss GT 1000 core has something similar to that. Anytime you have a split in the line you can assign pick attack as the trigger. So hard picking can go down one path and soft picking will go down a different path. Then you can put different modulations on each path, so that the modulation is only picked up by either soft, picking or hard picking. Very clever.
Pete could make a string connected to a cup sound amazing, he instantly figured how to play something that sounded cool on it. When i play something like this, im like wtf was that sound.
These guys are the coolest new pedal company out there imo. They are always pushing the envelope (pun intended). This is what guitar players want, hands on experimentation incorporated with advanced technology. No menus. Brilliant.
I have no idea what I would use these for with the genre of music I play, but I enjoy seeing something different for once instead of the same drive pedal in a different box
This is GENIUS!!!!! My mind is blow. The pedal is putting the effects into the physical way that you are playing the guitar. Gamechanger Audio, Changing the game. I'm buying stock in this company.
Such a cool idea, esp. the idea of having one pedal trigger a other.I’d love to see 2 more for summer NAMM: A filter/auto-wah version of this (please include an up/down switch), and a pitch shifting one based on the Bigsby pedal tech! Love my Bigsby, Plus, and Plasma pedals!
The future of the guitar pedal board is a linked Eurorack rack at its head and Cv controlable guitar pedals. (In some cases the expression input of existing pedals can accept audio rate control signals, this is I think what the DREADBOX Cyclops can do, but its not for sale yet, so I haven't tested it yet.) I am trying to convince Guitar pedal companies that make CV controllable pedals to make a guitar pedal board like that. I made one myself, but I guess not everybody can do that. These special pedals with CV inputs NEED A PLATFORM TO EXIST, A HOME if you will. Synthesizers that can process audio are the coolest effects and the possibilities are endless. I am going to get one of these pedals GAMECHANGER did asap! ...Just for the pitch tracker alone they are worth it.
So basically, you need to keep on plugging that cable every now and then while playing live. These pedals are NOT for live gigs. For home recording? It's great.
This reduces automation of effects during mixing/post-production. You can control when you want an effect to be heard based on pitch and/or level thresholds. Ex. I want delay and reverb to kick in on the last bend of the solo. These guys are making amazing pedals. I love my light reverb and plan to get the fuzz soon.
How does the crowd noise get filtered when he plays? Just a smart filter on the camera mic? Post-editing? Or is the camera audio plugged into the mics in front of the amps?
I love these things and the price is not unreasonable BUT you can do all this - including the envelope follower and pitch follower - with an Empress Zoia.
@@HenritheHorse There's already a cheaper and more flexible alternative for guitarists that costs (somewhat) less money and takes less pedalboard space. And has presets.
@@sordel5866 Some people don't like screens and menu-diving. Similar ideas with different approaches for different musicians. Someone might buy one or two of these pedals for starters. Zoia is cool, but most guitarists don't want that complex effects.
@@HenritheHorse I agree, and I like the form-factor and interface of the Gamechanger MOD series (I really hope they sell a pile of these because I'd like to see the series expand) but Lee and Pete were acting like this was something fundamentally new. The interface of the Zoia does put people off - even many people who were interested enough in trying it to buy one - but it's super-intuitive once you learn how to use it ... and you don't need patch cables!
@@sordel5866 Yeah, I laughed when Lee kept calling it eurorack, because they know nothing about synths or modular. So it was really something totally new to them, and most likely to many other guitarists who watch the channel.
There's Boss and after Game Changer and there's no doubt when it comes the time to innovation the boss definitely is Game Changer ❤ love everything about this company!
This stuff has to give The Edge a major boner! It’s basically conditional formatting on a variety of modulation effects. Very cool, and like others have said, it’s nice to see an effects company designing new technology. Great video.
Great! But I placed my direct pre-order on the very first day the Gamechanger guys mailed their customers they were taking the pre-orders. Sorry, Andertons, this time you're late ;)

Louder for the Klon Kloners in the back bringing us yet another f*cking tube screamer 😩
Agreed. They made a statement and standard with their company name.
As usual, Gamechanger Audio is one of the few pedal companies that really tries to innovate. There's no need on this planet for another tubescreamer clone, we need new sounds and possibilities.

yet someone is in their basement as we speak making another clon clone.
As usual with Gamechanger, I have no idea what I would use these for, but I want every single one of them

It’s this type of stuff that drives musical innovation. Love it! And his enthusiasm. No one needs another reboxed drive pedal or “S type guitar”

My EHX Mod11 has similar functionality when you get into the deeper functions. Great pedal.

Looking forward to you guys becoming obsessed with modular stuff and turning the guitar crowd onto a whole new money sink
Wavefolding is gonna be the new overdrive!
I can see Ed O'Brien loving these kind of pedals, hot plugging cables, sitting cross-legged on the stage.
This is fantastic. Real innovation on the guitar effects department. Cool
This company lives up to its sophisticated name. The playgrounds they produce for creative people are unbelievable.
Evil genious at work for sure..brilliant! Pete’s chomping at the bit to rip that guitar out of his hands.
All of this was introduced in the Line 6 Helix a while back. Very handy in some situations indeed.
the '"self oscillation" joke from Pete is underrated
I love these guys and this company. This is inspiring! ❤
“It’s like a hotdog, you could put a sausage in there”. That’s something GC never thought about. Well picked up Pete.🎸🇦🇺👍
Amazing pedals. Really lets you get some different sounds on a rather limited instrument.
This is GENIUS!!!!! My mind is blow. The pedal is putting the effects into the physical way that you are playing the guitar. Gamechanger Audio, Changing the game. I'm buying stock in this company.
What a cool company, a real gamechanger as far as modular effects are concerned, great products! Thank you for being on the market!
special effects /hotdog warmer very ingenious Pete

Now I will have to get one of these!

Game Changer Audio - Explore the Sound, the idea for the slogan
very cool sounding pedals!
Geniuses. Great that they're expanding possibilities and sounds. Big fan of Gamechanger
pretty sick man I'm liking it I could very easily get lost in this kinda thing genius level stuff
Anybody know what happened to these? All mention of them has disappeared from their website and socials. 🤔
I was waiting for a video on these as soon as I saw them on the store. Very cool concept.
Brilliance in changing the game, even fx are in the fingers now.
"Premature Oscillation" has to be the name of Lee's new band.
6:40 "It happens to me a lot of the time". Silly Pete is best Pete.
That reverb gating is really interesting. Clever idea on all.
Wow! The potential of this idea is limitless! A gamechanger indeed 👍
This is amazing, so cool where technology has come even in pedals in just 10 years
These pedals would be right up Rebea's alley
So creative and cool. Kinda fee they should've come to the show with some more rehearsed application ideas though
CV on Guitar effects is crazy. I like it.
I thought I'd stumbled on an episode of Juliet Bravo.
Blimey, you're going back a bit!
@@metalmick old gits united!

super creative stuff
Very interesting, thanks Anderton's!
Reminds me of the Pitch Follower in Axe-Fx, kinda does the same thing.

Billy Idol / Steve Stevens' Blue Highway's Intro at 5:10
What a cool design. It brings something that may have been hinted at in my subconscious into reality. 😎
These are the one of the very few innovative companies I will buy these
Really cool stuff. Very interesting. Innovative for sure.
"This is our version of a Tube Screamer" - something you won't hear from Gamechanger. 👍
Awesome!
Actually game changing. Respect.
As far as I'm concerned, the only booth at NAMM worth visiting.
My Hx effects can do both pitch and attack envelopes. Cool pedals either way.

I’ve been gathering the Eurorack modules to build an actual modular FX rack… 🤔
This is legitimately really cool
what was the price point on them??
missed link sorry. $800 for all 3 not to bad
Like these!!!
Love it!
Slogan idea- Gamechanger Audio: Where Imagination Meets Creation
Tom Delonge planning new AVA sounds while listening to this, also he bought the whole stock :D
I wonder how those pedals take distortion.
The Edge just cleared three spots on his pedal board.
This is genius, its like a dynamic envolope with modulation control by where and how you play. That could be interesting.
Ive watched this video like 5 times but I still cant wrap my head around why this cant be done with traditional knobs and switches.
Dan from TPS would have so much fun with these!
Waiting for their 3-hour video.

game changer. sound of creation, escape to infinity, scope sounds, ect
Gamechanger Audio, more than mere effects 👍🏻
Wow. Great Idea . I like that. 🙂
Love it.
This must be for studio use. Can't see a live player on his knees moving leads around.
Pretty cool stuff.
Genius stuff!!!

Awesome ⚡️⚡️
Got that Khruangbin vibes
Already been done

wow indeed boys.
This thing was made for The Edge.
That’s so cool
Is a large amount of oscillation an “ocelot”? Or is that something categorically different? Are you feline me? 🤔😋
Sorry you got interrupted Pete :). Im sure it wasnt personal.

Dude this is cool as shit... above my head... but cool as heck. This is moving things forward, not just another clone pedal
sounds like my zoom G5
