It’s an older video 😅 that I just updated the thumbnail today. Hyatt nights start at 3,500 points a night (off peak category one). 60,000 point Chase Ultimate Rewards bonus / 3,500 points = 17 nights
Excellent video I’m new to Chase just the got the CSP and I’m planning a trip to Puerto Rico Amex points has the flight covered and chase now has the hotel covered thanks for the info… I pay my cards off weekly so it’s definitely a free trip !!!! I just subscribed!!!!
@@MaxMilesPoints Also just watched your new video about Virgin Atlantic Cruise. Another pro tips. I would like to try it from west coast as well. Thanks a lot.
Question: can you combine points and cash within a single reservation. I.E. you have enough points to stay 3 nights free but you need 7 total. Can you pay for the 3 with pts and $ for the remaining 4? Or do you need to split the reservation into two then work with the hotel to make sure you can stay in the same room #?
I’m just starting out with all this stuff. If I transfer over my chase ultimate rewards points to my Hyatt account, do those points also count towards my Hyatt base points and therefore upgrade me to a higher tier status with Hyatt?
login to my ultimate rewards. it does not have an option "transfer to travel partner". called Chase they cannot do it. how do you get that feature enable?
I thought that award nights are technically free nights at the hotel that are awarded by the hotel. I have the CSP, so I clicked on your video based on the title, but this doesn’t apply to me or anyone else who has already received the SUB for the CSP.
I just had a conversation with Hyatt. I had over 200k in reward points earned on the WoH credit card, and they said this would never go towards advancing in status. Booking nights with reward points would not help. Only cash spent on property. What is going on?
That’s factually not true. If you used the 200K points to book rooms at Hyatt hotel, each night you stay will qualify towards status. If you stayed 60 nights in a calendar year you’ll be a globalist, highest tier.
So if i xfer 100K ultimate rewards points to my hyatt account, will that suffice for globalist status without even staying one night? or is that not allowed?
Does it apply for the $50 hotel credit as well? I have the CSP and I haven't use the points yet, hopefully over the summer. I love your visual video from step to step was very informative.
It does not. The $50 hotel credit is to be used in the Chase Travel Portal so thats different. You can book Hyatt hotels through the Chase Travel Portal if want. But its a different process from booking Hyatt hotels through transferring points. Let me know if that answers you question!
Thanks for the great video! Amex is offering a 40% bonus to transfer for avios points through aer lingus. Is this a good transfer partner in your expert opinion?
The title says 17 nights yet the video only says how to get up to 12 nights.....am I missing something 🤔

How about marriot bonvoy? Can use chase point?
Also, tons of Hyatt hotels offer a free night when you book 4 or 5 nights! So you only have to pay for 5 nights for 6 nights total :)
Never knew that
Does it only count if you book a 4 or 5 nights in a single stay? Or is it multiple bookings once they hit 4-5, You get another night for free?
Learning so much!! Thank you for taking the time to create the series of lessons. Excited to learn more!!

My wife has Chase Preferred and I have Chase Reserve. Is the Hyatt a good option for earning points?
Dear Max, Is there a way to transfer points from Capital One ecosystem to Hyatt?
No! Only chase and bilt transfers to Hyatt.
If I transfer chase ultimate rewards point to Hyaat, do they count towards status?
No 😞
Very well done video!

You actually have to stay at the Hyatts to earn qualifying nights to earn status. Transferring points won’t get you status
