    It is so deceiving to see an edited photo, when you don't know it was edited then think your photo will come out like that 😂. I went through the saame understandng years ago and when I realized that the editng changes the photo dramatically I was dumbfounded. (Thanks for posting this video, by the way )
    I am using a Bridge Camera Panasonic Lumix FZ1000ii and there are ZERO videos on YT to show people how to achieve these pictures. There is a lot to know using ND filters and just in camera F Stops. Thanks for the video and keep teaching the masses 😊

    Lol, you are too funny 😂 I missed which shutterspeed and ISO to use though? Was that mentioned?

    • @ryanborden
      @ryanborden  Год назад

      Shutter speed is variable depending on your lens focal length. I would say you should probably watch again in the section where I talk about the 500 rule. The ISO is also variable depending on what your shutter speed is or how sensitive your camera is too light. You will have to play with that one.

    What would be a good shutter speed? Assuming you're using ISO 100 and F8

    • @ryanborden
      @ryanborden  Год назад

      That would be relative to how much the sensor on your camera collects light. A good rule is the 500 rule that I mention for shutter speed.

    Also do you have a preference on filters? I am going to be picking up the 14-30 S lens so could go with screw on filter or square with a mount.

    • @ryanborden

    • @ryanborden
      @ryanborden  Год назад

      If your waterfall is only 4 feet high, it may not be worthy of a photo. Sometimes the best thing to do is keep hunting for something more beautiful.

    You don’t mention the shutter speed

    • @senthildiv
      @senthildiv 3 года назад

      I guess, shutter speed you need to play around depending on the lighting conditions and the amount of blur you want of the waterfall to look like a milky wave... NDfilter definitely helps to avoid overexposing the highlights

    • @ryanborden
      @ryanborden  4 месяца назад +1

      Meanwhile other viewers are saying, "Thanks for the valuable information".
      I can't just give you settings for every scene, as each scene is different. Also, your style is based around shutter speed. Some people like still water others like the long exposure, milky look. There is no one setting fix all, and artistically it doesn't make sense for me to announce what that is. But I can teach you how to plan and evaluate your scene and use your equipment to get the best shot.
