Hey Psyche. That "Celtic sound" is actually Troy Donockley playing the mandolin. He is an instrumentalist, which means he plays high and low whistle, as well as his favorite instrument, the Uaellan (pronounced "ill•an") pipes -- the instrument that is the national instrument of Ireland. As he says in the Nightwish documentary, "You have to be a bit, just a bit, insane, to play them."
If you want to hear Troy playing his pipes, I recommend either I Want My Tears Back or Last of the Wilds from Wacken 2013.

The spoken part at the beginning is voiced by evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins. When you get to The Greatest Show On Earth and Shudder Before The Beautiful, you will here more from him.
The Endless Forms Most Beautiful title track and TGSOE were both inspired by books written by Dawkins.
The Celtic sounds are Marko playing the Framus guitar part of the 'beast'. The other neck is a Warwick bass. Those Celtic sounds are also coming from Troy, who is playing an Irish Bouzouki, a relative of the Mandola.

Floor's dress are the colours of the Finnish Flag and has a double helix (dna strenght). Yes she is a great performer and Marco's voice with her's together fits perfectly. The other thing whats magical about Floor is, when she does the windmill her hair is not a mess and when she stops, it looks like nothing happened. She must be from an other world. For some reason, when I saw the title of the video, I thought to myself: "oh my, this one may be a bit too much for her" since Weak Fantasy is on the heavy side of the band and it's lyric is also pretty strong, but I'm so glad that she prove me wrong

Because:
When Floor and Troy became permanent members in 2013, they both brought new energy and inspiration to the band. Floor obviously because she is the greatest storyteller in the Metal world.
But Troy - Troy brought the Scientist Richard Dawkins and the evolution of the Earth into Tuomas's mind, because Troy knew Tuomas's interest in Nature (Tuomas wanted to be a marine biologist as young).
He borrowed him some books by Sagan and Dawkins - like the book 'The Greatest Show on Earth', by Richard Dawkins - 4,6 billion years of the Earth's evolution.
Tuomas created their next album during the next 18 month after they finished the Wacken 2013 concert - and that new album was inspired by the books he had borrowed from Troy. The album is called ' Endless forms most beautiful' - and with Floor and Troy on board, he no longer had any limitations - Floor can sing anything, and Troy can play anything.....
The world tour they started in 2015 (Endless Forms most beautiful) is all about the evolution - Earth and mankind - therefore, this song you just reacted to, "Weak Fantasy" about religion - is perfect.
Floor's dress is showing the helix of the human DNA strings..
And therefore it is time for the song
"The Greatest Show on Earth" - that song is the book in music and effects. It gives you the evolution of the Earth - and are buildt in so many layers that the evolution in music are there too, just like Floor demonstrates most of the evolution in singing.
It is a masterpiece.
And you have to stay on until the video is completely finished - the speaking afterwards is an important part of the song!!!

This one is against organized religions based on tribal religious texts, especially The Bible, it's not against personal faith in some Deity. However, one should realize that all those religious texts are & have been interpreted and used to justify unimaginable cruelties, persecution, discrimination etc., the worst being the idea that man is separate from nature & by some divine right above all other lifeforms, which explains the current almost catastrophic state of our planet.
lyrics are spot on - so many fractures in our world have a root in the fantasy that each of the religions/sects/whatever are THE ONE way. This song speaks, with anger, against the fact that we humans are destroying ourselves and this world based on a power structure that needs to be made obsolete - we ALL deserve better.

Psyche, as a huge fan of Nightwish, I LOVE your reaction videos more than other peoples'. You're so genuine and real. I've no doubt that you've been asked to do "Poet and the Pendulum", and I know you need to do it in your own time, (I'm the same way), so even though I never subscribe to people on RUclips, I subscribed to you, JUST to someday see it. Yes, it is long. It's 4 min longer than Ghost Love Score, but the backstory to this song is the heaviest one Tuomas ever wrote. It was when he was going through almost a suicidal period in his life. If others have told you about the story, I won't. If they haven't, I will.
