Here's me trying to explain what a dragon is, while also making jokes. Observe the run time, and consider supporting me on patreon.

I can already imagine how a dnd campaign with a Copper Dragon would go:
- Need strong magical item
- Hear a nearby metallic dragon has it
- Metallic means nice equals possibility of trade
- Meet dragon, gain quest instead
- Go on an arduous journey
- Near the end meet a dude who researches dragons
- Hear him mention about copper dragons' tendency to fuck with people
- See as the realization slowly hits the players faces
And then, to make sure the players don't kill you, have the researcher turn out to be the dragon. After all, he's going to want to be able to see their faces.
Im using this
This is amazing
Double twist: the researcher is actually a silver dragon who uses being a human dragon researcher as super sneaky cover for him actually being a dragon human researcher
Holy f*ck what a great idea!
Encounter idea: A silver dragon runs a museum and you just get to sit there for an hour and listen to it geek out about the things it loves.
That sounds more like a brass dragon.
Holy shit I'm absolutely going to use this
Not that the party I herd will ever actually visit a museum but
@@danniemiesse4643 they will if you subtly tell the players but not the characters that its run by a silver dragon lol
Dan N Iemiesse I’m picturing like a museum in the middle of a random cavern or abandoned castle in the mountains where it lives. Since you know...silver dragon. Like it loves the stuff so much it created a museum no one would ever go to because the stuff and the people it belonged to deserve it.
Thank you for a idea in my campain
A good DM must always include a silver dragon in their dating sim--I MEAN, _campaign_
*sweats nervously, having married my paladin to a silver dragon*
Let it be known that yes, I do enjoy Ms. Kobayashi's Dragon Maid.
I adopted a silver dragon as an egg very early on in an old campaign and the party grew around raising her. qX
Basically Fire Emblem.
@CloakofAuron - Don't sweat that, I have a story knocking about my head about a Silver Dragon who marries a paladin too. The paladin is a Steel dragon in disguise, but he's still a human paladin most of the time! Besides! Where else would one get cool half-dragons! Your paladin could raise a brood of devoted Bahamutian warriors!
hmmh.... But Kobayashi has a green dragon...
Which uhh... Isn't important.
So... What do you get if you crossbreed a dragon with catfolk, anyway? XD
You forgot to mention that gold dragons really love art.
It’s their preferred treasure, and they’re lairs are often half-vault half-gallery
Dragons are cool, inside DnD.
Outside of DnD and on the internet however.
Mindflayers be damned.
Mindflayer probably beg someone to "flay" his mind after he see some sh..t about dragon on internet.
...should we tell him we breed illithid/dragons? ...nah.
Tfw human imagination is actually the strongest cosmic horror
@@OhitsONnow That we know of. And honestly, we don't want to know if there is something more horrific than that.
@@OhitsONnow Are you sure they're human...?
Adventurer: *travels through the land defeating dangerous foes and surviving incredible dangers to achive the one magical item he needs to save his hometown*
Copper dragon: It was a prank, lol *dabs*
My canine dragon: *starts emmiting a strong radiance*
I would call Silver Dragons neutral good, despite knowing they're "officialy" lawful.
This is great. I never actually knew what the silver dragons were like. That's adorable!
Would you please do 'Basically Lizardfolk'? I'm doing a Lizardfolk ice mage who gained an ironic sense of humor and basic emotions by way of an 'Awaken' spell gone wrong.
His name is Izard Gizzard the Blizzard Wizard Lizard.
There’s now one available
@@LightRoomRJU I saw.
That's a lot of “z”s.
That staf prank made the copper dragon be my favorite.
Everyone has a secret Silver Dragon stalker, they just don't know it
Somebody actually finds me interesting? Shit
@@kylestanley7843 If people waste their life watching anime girls do every day stuff everything is possible.
accurat- wait, shit
...you saw nothing.
@@Darasilverdragon AHA saw you
In the United States, Pepsi is made with carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, caramel color, sugar, phosphoric acid, caffeine, citric acid, and natural flavors.
Never knew I needed a Pepsi ad in my dragon video
And remember, "natural flavors" does not need to be specified if it is below a certain percentage of the ingredients, by volume. And it may include a (by law defined, based on the product) maximum amount of insects. - Spider Cola.
Fun Fact: the phosphoric acid content on drinks like pepsi and specially coca cola is high enouth to make them effective at cleaning rust and polishing crome
I once saw my mom unclog a greasy sink with a can of cola
Sounds like Pepsi lies to me
The description of the bronze dragon struck a personal cord for me
I think I heard once that gold dragons can also move their tendril beard, the tendrils aren't strong but they can use them to hold things and if I remember correctly they can also use them to make the motions when casting a spell.
So basically if one wanted to make you really uncomfortable they could touch your face with the tentacle beard.
My mind: BACK MASSAGES
Neutral good dragon: the jade one and the adamantine dragon from the creature's catalog
Neutral evil dragon: thuông-luông, slarecian dragon, orochi, felldrakes and corpse tearers
I’m excited to see the rest of the dragons! (Not very well versed in DnD lore so I love these videos)
“Pizza Hut the Expensive Dragon”
*I can’t fucking breath*
3:23 Okay, I'm agreeing with Bronze, Gold and Silver as the main Good Dragons.
Man, The D'n'D youtube community giving each other easter eggs is the cutest shit
Of course the first video I find on your channel is by far the best. Subscribed for good dragon content. 10/10.
These sorts of videos are great for listening to while doing other things as a kind of podcast. Loving the content!
Villain Idea, a silver dragon who doesn't want his "favorite characters" to die and so habitually follows around adventuring parties before freezing them in ice when he think they're too old/ have reached the pinnacle of their character arcs so he can keep them forever in his hoard.
I really love good dragons. These guys are all so fucking interesting each! Holy shit. Thank you for this.
I love this comedy. You just got a sub.
Thanks dad
i still remembered how me and my party interrogated a dwarf cultist,we took him to a brass dragonlair, sealed him in stone up to his neck and told and ancaint brass dragon that the dwarf wanted to hear his life story.
Hey runesmith your description of brass dragons hit so close to home that I got a little sad. I don't know if I should be mad at you for doing that or impressed that you were able to do that so I'm going to split the difference.
I now want to add a silver dragon to my campaign, and have him act like a fanboy/girl meeting their favorite celebrity when they meet the party.
So technically Scrooge McDuck could have been a gold dragon this whole time
Has no family at all except for Donald and his nephews, yet can’t keep track of whether he’s Donald’s uncle or Hewey,, Louie and Dewey’s uncle. Everyone’s a little afraid of him but put up with him because he’s super rich. Bathes in gold coins. Has zero security but no one in the middle class town ever tries to rob him. Tells truly terrible jokes and puns that everyone pretends are funny. Think you nailed it dude!
@@andrewjohnson6716 neat.
There is this one metal dragon that keeps on spewing tornadoes and bitches out when the time is up.
Now I wanna play a game where I’m a dragon in a human form just fucking around with bards
That red scale background triggers my "Trypophobia" so much that I had to not look while listening.
May I request a sound file of the way you said “The Shinies” at 6:31 ??
Brass dragon "I want a trapped genie. Why? Because I have a trapped audience and I can forever talk with him"
I heard of a group of dragons called Gem Dragons.... Dragons made of not paint nor metal but glistening stones that shine brighter than the hoards they keep. Tell me... Shall you cover the Gem dragons? I know they do not rule the realms of 5e but it could be worth a shot to explore such an illusive group of creatures
Dragons have been very simplyfied in 5e. So sad. So yeah. Gem dragons haven't been touched since 3e.
Watched several of your videos, and this is the one that made me sub. :)
I've just decided that I'm putting a copper dragon in my campaign so I can use my arsenal of dad jokes!
"Okay first guy.... WhY aRe ThErE tHrEe?! Put a CoUple back, das tOO many...:("
Idea: A Druid with no connection to nature who focuses on shape shifting. The party wonders why their friend isn't a hippie, but at the end of the campaign they see a dragon flying away in the distance.
7:12 why must you make me feel this.
*flips off cat*
Cat: "You have displeased me, hooman. Now you shall pay the consequences: my poop in your shoe when you least expect it, and me jumping on your keyboard when you are writing your scripts for the next month."
Now I want to make a bronze Dragon human fighter who lost his memory due to amnesia and is trapped in his human body bc he cant remember how to turn back and becomes a low level gladiator to pass his time and becomes more and more convinced hes not a dragon at all but just a human with immense strength
This is the worst thing I ever did is a DM. The quest was to find a gold dragon and ask it for help, but the whole time there's this squirrel following them and biting their ankles and that kind of crap, I think you can tell where this is going. Yep squirrel works for the dragon
"twelves thousands"
twelve hundreds: Am I a joke to you?
6:20
i was going to comment something about you being rude to "XP to level 3", but then i noticed that the other one there is you so... carry on please
The high school description of the brass dragon hit too close to home
There are three platinum dragons, Bahamut is the only one with wings.
pump fake on the ad was well played.
Rewatching this in November 2020, Runesmith's voice sounded a lot happier back then. Sad days. But seriously, Logan, are you alright out there?
That description of the brass dragon is just me
This is one of your best videos. I fucking coughed up my rice at the bronze dargons.
My goblin ranger/rogue REALLY wants to wife a silver dragon
" Silver Dragon type II place of dragons. That was totally a lie they're the best dragons."
MY MAN!!
100% Agree.
Vern cursed the race of Whyverns to have no arms
Get yeeted out of reality by a pissed off dragon
i thought silver dragons were neutral good? still I'm happy to know the nicest bois were treated fair here.
nah, technically lawful
we just ACT closer to neutral good, and golds act more closely to hard capital-L Lawful good
The look of cat betrayal in his eyes
I really do wish that WOTC adds Gemstone Dragons back in for the Neutral Dragons.
"Now what about dragons?".
*SHADIVERSITY THROWING A POMMEL OF MASS DESTRUCTION AT YE TO END IT ALL RIGHTLY*
7:01 I feel personally attacked.
7:21 it's not a paradox, that's my life
I main a brass dragonborn, and I feel called tf out by the brass dragon description you gave😂😂😂😂
Stumbled across this and loved. Subbed for more dragons
7:00 I don't know why I feel atacked but I do
I will never be able to get the idea of an otaku silver dragon out of my head
I’m deciding if the dwarf who owns the kingdoms national park is secretly a silver or copper dragon and this video hella helps. Thank you dude
Brass Dragons: Weird awkward socially needy creature that craves attention and approval from others
Me: HE JUST LIKE ME FR
You, sir, are most pleasingly clever.
Man, I laughed way more than I should. Can't wait for the next part!
You know how people say you like something more when you see yourself in it? Yeah, I like brass dragons.
Duuuuude I live these videos thanks for putting these together... do you think you will ever do basically Slaadi??
I feel personally attacked at 7:15. Lol, cool video, as always though.
7:01-7:18 Hit close to home on that one
The puns made me instantly subscribe!
5:19 that explains so much actually
I love how your cat reacts to your middle finger like, "Ex-CUSE me?!"
No the poor kitty!
6:30 made me laugh harder than I'd like to admit.
Dungeons and dungeons? Wow, gonna have to look into that.
Fun fact: lots of mythological beasts,b especially dragons and giants, were most likely inspired in part by fossils. Because people have been unearthing and discovering them for as long as there have been people.
Me: *likes Brass Dragons and feels a connection to them*
This Video: *talks about them*
Me: "Oh no"
What I feel like I would be if I were a derg: *Silver*
What I am IRL: *brass*
I CRAVE stimulating conversation (and ofc magic) but I never seem to get any..
Also I have a friend that loves world building, and I will definitely mention world forge next time we meet.
The pain of being one of those brass dragons.
I can spiritually relate to brass dragons
A Brass Dragon is my spirit animal.
I like to think people in cultures around the world discovered dinosaur fossils in ancient times, didn't know what they were or understood them, and decided they were mythical creatures that breathed fire.
Oh, God...I'm a brass dragon, aren't I?
I'm trying to do some deities for a campaign.
It is a world were all humans have been long gone, with the other races left for filling the gaps.
I was thinking that Dragonborn believe they were made from a human, who cut himself and all dragons are made from blood drops (both metallic and chromatic, but only exist 1 of each), being the Dragonborn the children of the dragons.
The thing is that all of them are attached to a counterpart (goldies to reds, bronze to blues, etc. Except for brass and greens, I have a story for that), so all of them are hydra-like gods with the worst case of bipolarity (except for brass and poison, they're like divorced)
Thoughts?
I'm having
Silver Dragons are honestly adorable
this hurts that it made me realise i was a copper dragon(but now i dont people anymore)
anyone else feelin like an old brass dragon
No fairy dragon? Nah you're alright
This man's dad puns are too powerful, we can't repel dad jokes of this magnitude. INTENSIFY FORWARD SUBSCRIBE FIREPOWER!
Damn it, I wanna play as a silver dragon now
2:50 correction they are all wyverns
What was that live play series that he showed? That looked interesting.
*Looks up dragons to see which one I would be*
*Thinks would be best as a copper dragon because I enjoy story telling*
*watches this*
Was not the thing to watch with depression, but at least I found it fun,
but Logan, do not be cruel to which you share things with. There is no culture without stories. Your friends cherish you even if they do not call to you frequently. Like fine wine, it can only be enjoyed in limited amounts.
And also desserts aren't noisy so easier to hear convoys.
The twelve thousands was probably so hard to say cuz we only in the two thousands bud. The word you were looking for is hundreds. Twelve hundreds.
Love your vids
2:52 yay monster hunter, I've put way to many hours into those games
The western stereotype dragon came from British myth. these dragon called drakon, sárkány and or knucker. All of these are still in the dragon family. The greater dragon group in myth are long, sárkány, lindworm, amphiphtere, wyvern, hydra, zmey, ouroboros, wurm, zburător, vibria, zduhać and drakaina. The love child of a human and dragon is called zmeu
