amazon has a bunch of sling mount adapters that you can directly route your sling through. its not the slimmest setup but it works if your trying to avoid using a qd mount

yeah! the IForce are the only eyepro I've found that I can tum all day all night without fog and still fit under NODs. I buy them 2 or 3 at a time and toss em once they scratch up
You should be able to buy the Frank Proctor 550 cord sling adapters and use those instead of QD.

Lmaooooo the real ones know about carrying baby wipes/TP. I always keep some in my drop pouch if we're going low-vis/recon or in my camelbak if we're doing direct action/overt. That's a really good idea about turning the belt buckle to the side. The second you said you did it I knew why.

As a fellow lefty I appreciated this. For carbine, how do you handle white light activation when shooting support side? I appreciate that your setup allows you to activate your NGAL and white light without changing hand placement when shooting strong side, but you had to sacrifice some ambidextrous function. Is that the reasoning?
I try to avoid off side shooting if at all possible.
Off hand shooting is only feasible if you train it consistently. Cool guys can do it because they train all the time. Most dudes avoid it because it's just too difficult to do consistently.
I know this is over a year old, but TEES, Shane Foster, Jaybo Long, all amazing guys and what a great place to train at. Those also have guild solutions they teach at also.

Are the D-rings on your plate carrier aftermarket? If so, what are they? They don’t look like the stock D-rings that come on a velocity scarab.
Looks like a onetigris helmet cover, do you know if it will fit ballistic opscore helmets?
Just found y’all. First video was your panning video and now this one. Good shit. Like the set up for your sling some 550 and black etape through the front qd hole works pretty good for sling management on the sba4. As far as your inforce would you say the placement of it has ever been an issue? Was looking at a set up from s&s precision that would a vampire but that price tag is killer.
No the placement is good. Some folks like the front facing ones. That’s ok if you need a bright light facing forward for a task but it’s married to your head, so you’ll blind the homies. Especially under NVG. I’ve found mostly vertical to be used 99% of the time for me so I don’t have the articulating mount.

ADM does make one without the waffling. I bought one because of that reason . It's called ADM4LS-Duty..

I'm looking to purchase this as my personal plate carrier since leaving the service, and wondering did you have Velocity make this custom color camo pattern for you, or was this a choice offered at the time your department ordered them? Unfortunately they seem to only have regular light multicam and ranger green.

Hey Jared, ADM actually makes a UIC lower without the ribbing on it that looks more mil-spec. It’s their Duty series lowers. Same Ambi functionality without all the flare. I feel the exact same way about the ribbing. Just give me something that works I don’t even care if it’s a blem 😂

Question for you on your kit. How is the quality of the disco ptt, audio and durability. Anyone else have experience with the disco32 ptt?

probably has a palsy...I woke up almost 2 years ago with my arms numb from elbow down. Comes and goes now but I can just handle weapons or at most a multi-tool or smaller sub 15lb breaching tool. I thank God that I'm mostly ambidextrous. Nice vid!

Great video just wondering whats yalls opinion on side plates? I'm getting my first carrier for a shtf situation and I want to make sure I'm not buying unnecessary items
I have side plates and I don't find them to be an unnecessary accessory. There's points to be made for or against them but my thoughts are the plate carrier is for what? Plates. Sure it adds some weight but all your ammo and gear isn't worth a damn if you take a round to the liver because you thought side plates were silly.

@@austin9570 it's your choice man. Some people wear them. I never did when I was an iraq and neither did my teammates. We preferred to be faster and able to move. Plus the chaff when your doing patrols sucked ass.

Just wanted to comment on the soil eater TQ. Im a TCCC instructor, and those TW holders are by far my favorite. I’ve turned tons of people onto them. If you need a better way to hold your TQ on your kit, that’s the way to go 100%

I can't find the instagram post about your modification to the cummerbund. I recently purchased the same carrier and was looking for a new cummerbund, is it linked or described anywhere else?
Man that was so long ago I think the post was deleted. It's simple, you just cut the stitching between the 3 hole in the velocity rear plate bag, and insert the ferro 3AC cummerbund.

What are the rings on your shoulder pads?
That’s the articulating shoulder design of the SCARAB. Part of the carrier.
A single stack pistol or rifle mag on pistol side of carrier should not interfere with pistol draw. Granted keeping that side slick is a consideration.
Keeping pouches on the back of carrier makes ZERO sense. You cannot access it yourself without taking off your carrier. Even if one item like bolt cutters you can grab without taking off carrier..
A small backpack to go along with your carrier is the way to go..

How are the goggles being retained to the helmet
The strap goes under the helmet straps, out and around the back of the helmet. Creates retention
