One of the best SW sets Lego has ever produced. It was in fact so good that I had to buy two. Might pick up a third on Black Friday if they are still around.
I think I saw somewhere that the door on the little hut has an upside down brick that you can press into place on the top so it doesn’t fall, but I could be wrong 12:27
If you can only ever get one. Get your favorite. If it’s a game of which one do I get now. Get this one. The sail barge should be around for a few years (retail) and this one is only around for a few more months. (Retail)
It's really a conundrum. It's either getting this by December or the remaining sets released last year and some of the earlier ones this year. It's just so hard to catch up I'll never be satisfied lol...do you think the aftermarket value for this MBS set will grow much more than several retired play sets combined? Or will it plateau for a while even after retirement? I'm hoping to get a breather and not rush into buying some of the play sets if I were to go for this set. I'm inclined to believe the Cloud City set's value shot up due to the pandemic, and things are different now. But I wouldn't want to be caught off guard by the play sets too like the Imperial Light Cruiser or the TIE fighter helmet. The FOMO is REAL 😫😫
So it definitely really is a conundrum. This set for sure is going to absolutely skyrocket in value. Just due to the figures alone. Depends on what place that you’re missing. I would definitely go for the fang fighter versus tie interceptor if that’s the one you don’t already have. New republic E-Wing vs Shin Hati’s Starfighter seems like another good one to grab. Helmets of course always do really well in the aftermarket, investment wise. Diorama sets haven’t been too bad post retirement as far as being able to reasonably afford them. The UCS AT-AT as well as the Yavin 4 rebel base are also ones that I would recommend. If you can afford it, I would say go for both the master builders and the UCS set. If you can’t afford that, I would go with the play sets. At the end of the day, it really just depends on what you have and what you want
