I stayed up from midnight to 4 AM est for this set to become available on the website, then went to bed and set an alarm for every couple hours to check if it was up. Finally saw it come up when I checked at 9 AM est, and was happy to see that it came with the Yoda's lightsaber for free. Looking forward to building the Cantina :)
Selling to buy more or trading is a great and sensible way to fund what is a reasonably expensive hobby of you collect a range of themes. I love the fact your Lego store offers damaged boxes. It’s not the case in all markets!

Whenever we go to Edmonton we make sure to check out the LEGO store in Southgate, it’s a lot cheaper than here in bc

Just love seeing your Lego shopping trips with your Lego buddies - they are hilarious. Also really like the overview of sets that you show at the Lego store. Meanwhile I am still debating about parting with my money for the DA set. Thank goodness that HP is my main theme with just a few other varied sets that are tempting .

Bravo to your LEGO store! I've bought many large big price sets like the falcon and star destroyer and they never give anything away, like a polybag here or there. I understand its a promo going on but the Harry Potter ones have restrictions so its nice to get extra. Its kinda made me a Shop at Home kind of buyer now.

Nice to have a dedicated lego fund. :) I could have got the Cantina at lego.com this morning in Canada, it was available for VIPs for about 6 hours I'd say. Debated the last few days but too expensive for what I would get out of it. Went with the 1989 Batmobile instead.

Those nes are the most intresting lego set of the year so far,If you look at diagon alley its really nice but not that unusual no different then modular buildings.This cantina again very nice but plenty of people have made their own versions of cantinas over the years its easily something that could be created at home if you had enough bricks,The nes is different its unusual thats what i like about it.
Simone Oconnell Good points. Diagon Alley is a massive playset while the NES...looks a lot like a real NES but smaller. It IS unique and a neat display piece but, like many other LEGO sets, only appeals to a certain demographic.

@@Bricksie what I meant with my comment is that you could have bought stocks or lego set retiring this year. Sit on them 3 years, sell it for profit and then buy the NES to ''invest''. As lego is not an investment but rather speculation.
Yeah I know. This'll be a long wait. It was more so the $50 off each set that sold me. I'm going to track down some Diners at issue price asap cause those will be gone soon. Same with Tree House, Flintstones, maybe T.rex, a few others. The issue is they never have those in-stock. NES should do well over time.
