Founded in 1860, Thames Rowing Club is based on the Putney Embankment. Catering for all, from juniors to veterans, from novices to internationals, Thames is currently one of the largest and most successful rowing clubs in the United Kingdom.They also pride themselves on being one of the friendliest.
Thames Rowing Club is available to hire. The Great Hall is the jewel in the crown of the Club House, measuring 6.5 metres by 12.5 metres and boasts a ceiling height of 6 metres. The 3 metres wall of glass windows and doors offer a vista of the Thames that is second to none.
The walls are adorned with portraits, racing results, Henley medals and winners’ blades from a bygone era.
