i've been prl big turbo and custom tuned with ACT Street here with upgraded cmc for the last 40k miles (on stock head studs). buddy has the rv6 flywheel with the vargas gc+ but still needed the upgraded cmc. his vargas has been solid.
Stage 0 is perfect in my opinion. Unless you plan on building that engine itself and trans the flywheel with the stage 0 will fit your needs especially trying to be around 270-320 on flex fuel kit.
I just put in a TD03 turbo I got from pumbs, best money I spent for the Si by far. Highly recommend upgrading turbo and keeping it around 310-320 like you said, that's my end goal as well. I'm always excited to hop in the Si even more than before knowing that it pulls hard now. My driving style is pretty much the same lol, know what I got, but also know that it might break and these engines aren't exactly built to push past certain thresholds. Just need some brembos or wildwoods and i'll be set!
im running exedy stage 1 organic clutch and stock flywheel. semi stock car prl intake, intercooler and pipes, exhaust and a base map 19psi tune. with not chasing high horsepower it'll do exactly what i need. everyone recommends the rv6 retrofit flywheel and exedy stage 0 clutch as it is a type r factory set up designed to fit the SI. i drove one with that combo and have to say its a great setup to future proof for more power. as far as power upgrades not sure what else you could do besides a new turbo and internals.
Ive never felt the throttle lag in my 11th gen. On the tune i have everythings set to most responsive and it feels like it throughout all rpms. The only time i feel any lag is in normal mode which is extremely irresponsive to me so i always use sport mode
Idk what it is honestly. I believe it is clutch slip because it happens in a 4th gear pull. Not always though. Rarely. I wait until I’m above 3k rpms, step on it, then go WOT at just under 4k then it hesitates for a bit , rpms feel as if they don’t want to go anywhere then they go after I’d say 2 seconds. Idk what that is. I think it is clutch slip the beginning of it. But it doesn’t happen all the time. Sometimes I WOT in 3rd gear and no issues at all!
@@ElPinche97 must be something else. I think its electronic or in the tune. From wat ive seen clutch slip will shoot the rpms up but the car wont go till the clutch grabs
@@RCdopenutz I believe it has something to do with Rev Hang off. For the 2020 they recommended to keep it on until a full custom tune. Because when I drive with rev hang On, it doesn’t do that ever. So it’s probably rev hang issue on the 2020. Drob had recommended to keep it on. But I got so used to driving with it off haha.
@@10thgenAj it usually slips above 4k on map 3 tune so I don't usually turn map 3 on but normal driving and getting on it it doesn't slip only when I'm on map 3
I don’t drive it aggressively all the time. I don’t floor it under 3k. I drive normally for the most part. I never really WOT. But when I do this car hooks on and no slipping at all! But I will be upgrading the clutch eventually
Stay away from action clutch I’m running the stage 3 6puck and 13lb flywheel. Lotta chatter and tri state said it fucked homies trans idk but ima spend and go ACT next

Bigger turbo!
What did the head-stud install run you off u don't mind me asking?
Have you done a clutch delay valve delete? Would probably help
Haven’t done it, I’ve heard about it though!
How much power do those make.? Are they easy to mod
FBO with a tune, no turbo upgrade or flex fuel you should be looking at around 230-240ish whp.
Super easy to mod. Add on flex fuel to FBO and it should be closer to 270whp. Then add a turbo and you should be near 320ish whp.

Where did you get the engine cover??
Chasing J's!
Was it installed one by one or was the head was removed?
1 by 1 just like TwoStepPerformance did on their blue Si.
@@ElPinche97 Awesome i’m very sure it will hold. No failure reports of the method so far.
could you link me the side skirt extensions you got?
They’re custom made!
How you not slipping im on stock clutch and man it slips all the time when i floor it im only on k tunner and intake and exhaust
don’t floor it below 3500 but since urs is slipping i wouldn’t until 4k if u going to but don’t if u don’t have too
