Hi, my name is Merrill Kazanjian. New York City is an amazing place to go metal detecting. We have lots of parks, colonial history and great beaches for beach detecting. I have gone to all five boroughs of New York City To Metal Detect and beyond. I also currently own 19 metal detectors. I want to have the best and I want to help you choose the best as well. Below I will showcase some of the playlists on this channel:

I am a treasure hunter. So in addition to metal detecting, I go mudlarking at sites in New York City. Think of mudlarking as metal detecting without a metal detector.

Love my Manticore, some of my old hammered sites have come back to life. I have found two silver rings, an 1811 Classic head large cent, and a 1944 walking liberty half dollar on trashy sites that have been beat up. The Fast program is amazing

I've recorded the VERY BEST finds for my short start of my 5th year hunting.... I'm finding the best finds EVER and I've lost the drive to care if I record them ANYMORE.....I hope I change..... I'm being selfish for sure and that's not the normal me...

Sir Merrell loved the video!, have watched all your videos using the Manticore, my opinion is that i believe the Equinox would have found everything the Manticore has found for you on your hunts, to honesty say it's better,i don't think so at least not yet?, it hasn't impress just yet, only time will tell, carry on and will keep watching.

You own 20 detectors? You have the classic: GAS - Gear Aquisition Syndrome. You buy one, the constantly looking for something better, which becomes a vicious circle. Some synth heads also suffer from it (I have a synth, plus a Korg PA600). I almost bought a Korg Wavestate SE. It's the same price as the Manticore but pulled out at the last minute when I realised I could be developing this problem. One lad who had 15 synths, ended up needing counselling as his obsession was ruining him monetarily and mentally. What your next one, the even newer Deus Xtreme Hunter at £1369.00 or $1,719.00???

Leaking is my biggest concern, Manticore will be my new underwater machine. The Deus 2 concerns me with wire connected to the coil in rough surf

Finally received my Manticore. Took it to a local beach I've worked a lot with my Equinox 800, and was amazed at finding long buried coins I'd missed! I love the target trace feature which greatly eliminates digging only to find iron trash. The Manticore rocks!!

Love your videos and comments, I will tell you I was on a club hunt with my detecting club here in Eastern NC, was on a field next to other detectorest using Whites, Deus2 and Equinox 800, came in right behind them and pulled a 1789 Larger Cent about 10” down. It screamed on the Manitcore was a fun day to say the least. That was my deepest good find so far.

Back in the late 70s my first detector was a metrotec I dug an old shotgun shell base at 18 inches, I was impressed how deep it was able to detect
