Hey man, been watching all your MBZ videos to see the best way to upgrade my HK system in a '16 CLA 45. I'm pretty sure I'm going to follow your lead laid out in other videos & go with an Audison front stage (active) & an active sub under false floor in the trunk but the question I cant seem to find the answer to is, since my CLA has a DSP already & I plan to use high level inputs, do i need a new DSP for the front stage?

What would be a good replacement option for the head unit On a HK stock sound system. I see a lot of tochscreen options but when you get to audio they are all 4x 45w. Not sure how to select a good one

great video ...........any chance to do a video about adding a up grade set of speakers to the rear doors ie 2 way component set woofer and tweeter, say all the kit as been added to the car , but rear wasnt done at the same time .

We video clients cars, so we can only show what is being done
i got my rears done afterwards because one rear speaker started making rattling sound :)

Is the speaker upgrade different with the car that has the Harman/Kardon option?
Yes, kind of, you just need to go down a route of running everything from an amp
I have got one question. I Have got mercedes w204 avangarde 2008r with stock sound system (not harman kardon), and Is it possible that after turn up the music louder , the bass shakes the mirror?

in this upgrade, the MOST FIBER OPTIC signals from HEAD UNIT , do you need any MODULE to convert the MOST OPTICAL SIGNALS to RCA / TOSLINK before connect them to POWER AMP for system speakers and sub woofer.?
You don't need to but you can use a module if it has one

Great video just what I’m looking for would you say the package you advertise for the 07 to 14 plates c63s at £2000 is a good upgrade from the standard HK set up already in? Or should I save up and spend more to see a difference?

@@CambridgeCarAudio the other option Merc did was a 8" screen that folded up and out, but I don't think anyone does an after market large screen / double din for the W204.
@@miamimo70I agree. With a CarPlay head unit the sound quality will be superior as music is streamed via WiFi. I recently bought a £170 headunit for my W211 and it works seamlessly and has a DSP plus much more powerful amp than the OEM one. However, I will fully upgrade the sound and get an Audison Amp.
Putting a JBL sub in a Benz is like putting a silk hat on a pig! JL Audio! Hertz etc etc. even Rockford Fosgate
