Hi. I have same coupe, but not AMG, just 1.8 petrol version. Some tips you didn't mention: 1. If press the turn signal switch lightly (without click), the turn signal will blink only 3 times. Convenient when changing lanes. But this is an obvious, I think everyone knows. 2. If you press the “lock the vehicle” button on your key when the trunk is open, then when you take, for example, bags of groceries and close the trunk, the car will be locked and alarm will be set automatically. 3. Also, if you open the trunk by pressing corresponding button on key without removing the alarm and then close it, the car will remain locked as it was. 4. Good for your automatic gearbox: use parking brake if you park on incline. The right sequence is: when in "D" mode depress the brake pedal and hold it, switch to "N", apply parking brake, release brake pedal (car will slightly rolls and stops), switch to "P", switch off engine. Pulling away in reverse order: depress the brake pedal and hold it, switch to "D", release parking brake, release the brake pedal. 5. It’s worth saying that changing the oil using the pumping method works well on these engines. You can do it by yourself, it's fast and not very difficult. There are videos specifically for this car on RUclips. As for the spare wheel, my car doesn't have it at all. But I have "TIREFIT" kit - this is some kind of foam to fill into a flat tire. But I think it's expiration date has passed long time ago))
I’d also like to point out these: -There are 2 hidden menus, one that you activate in key position 1, then go to the “Trip menu” press and hold “Ok” and “Take call” buttons (first you gotta press Ok and like 2 seconds later press the take call one, there you can access some vehicle info (software version, dyno mode in which you can turn off every assistance, and maintenance mode that mechanics use once maintenance has been done) and also on the radio you can go to Engineer mode, which tbh I haven’t found good use but you do it holding a combination of buttons for about 15 seconds, the combination is End Call + # + 1 -If your car is equipped with headlight washers you can activate them having the lights turned on (either automatically or manually) and the way you do it is by pressing 5 times the button at the end of the windshield wiper controls and they should work -If your car is equipped with Intelligent Lightning System you can set Automatic High Beams, which only activates at 120km/h or around 70mph and what it does is it makes your high beams turn off when the car senses another’s vehicles lights, either front or rear lights and when it’s again dark it will automatically turn them on back again
If you go into the lighting section and you have adaptive lighting you can switch the headlights to left for UK driving or right for continental driving 😊
Nice quick video, btw Hold function is only for facelift W204s Just to add up to the last section of the vid I got 2 avantgardes (pre and facelift) and they both come with full size spare wheels (with the same design, pattern, etc as the rest)
I literally just found out about my spare wheel a week ago, just snooping around and cleaning the trunk. I have a CLS 63 AMG and have the same black amg spare wheel/tire.
Oh blimey, well I don’t think you can get much higher praise than that! Unless the other 100 cars were Nissan Qashqai’s 😉 What other notable cars have you owned?
How does your trunk lift itself up when you hit the trunk button ? I have a c250 coupe and mine does’nt do that. It just opens the lock but no lifting. Help please ❤
I have a 2012 C350 coupe and my window trim (drivers side above rear window) just pulled loose. You have any tips on how to reattach it? I tried super glue........nope! LOLOLOLOLOLOL Car is in MINT condition. I've already had it for 8 years as I purchased it from CarMax in 2016 in impeccable condition (someone REALLY took care of it) with just $18K miles on it and it currently had $56K. Black with red interior. LOVE IT!
@@NathanMannin Actually, I had to bring it in for it's "A" or "B" service (it was the really expensive one of the two!!! LOL). So, Mercedes was kind enough to reattach my trim for me free of charge!!! I just wish I knew what they did because it didn't just reattach or else I could have snapped it back in myself. I tried super glue which was HIGHLY unsuccessful! You have one BEAUTIFUL car!!!
@@NathanMannin Sorry, not you but MB gives one a facility whilst driving to watch DVD, surely this is not safe. I use The clips in the glove box for the tyre pressure gauge.

Automatic High Beams works after 55 km/h. That's what it says in the user manual. I myself successfully use this feature at speeds of 80-100 km/h.
Nice tip for the gearbox reset.

Never knew how to deactivate the cruise control. I always pressed the brake. Thanks for that tip. 👍🏼

The only thing I haven't found in 6 years is the Holders in the glove compartment. It's just not visible unless you almost stick your head inside 😂

I want one just because of the little coin storage
It’s very handy! 😃
Cool I knew 70% of these but learned a few more. Also all cars have the gas arrow it’s now a Mercedes thing.

Good video man! The bonnet one is brilliant, my w202 does the same! Also the w176 A class I used to have shares a lot of these tricks 👍
Thank you so much! It’s great to hear some of these features have been in older generations of cars and have been passed over to newer models : )

Not everything applies to the saloon. Good tips.
Which ones just out of interest?

Not sure if it’s a feature, sometimes mine doesn’t always open, perhaps hold the button on the key? Maybe your boot struts are slightly stiff?

No AMG doughnut spare wheel in my C350 (2012), just a plain steel one.

My w204 comes with a regular spare tire 😢 but mine has amg seats since it’s a 2015 coupe

With the amount of AMG Line cars which are littered with AMG badges, I wouldn’t be surprised if they had an AMG spare wheel too.
