when i get tired of artists showing off thier free supplies given to them i watch your videos over and over your ideas are fresh and new ,i have made many journals but havent worked in them much .
When you said in the beginning "Are you ready to have some paper fun today?" I got so excited that I shouted "YES!" and forgot I was wearing headphones and watching next to my husband who was sleeping! OOPS! He looked very shocked! :D
Love that! LOL
Sewing and comedy. Who knew? Love it.
"Impatient Crafter".....😂 We need to start a club! Thank you for sharing! I hope that you have a blessed weekend!!!💖🌹
Yes we do! :)
@@ThePaperOutpost 😅
Came up with a good solution to hold the glue bottle.....so because I often buy my Kleenex for our nightstands in the cylinder style....once the Kleenex was gone I decoupaged the tube, then threw a few garden stones into the inside for weight and woohoo.....a perfect holder for the glue bottle and so much prettier than just a plastic water bottle😉
What a great idea!!
"It's working. I don't know why!" God love ya! You make laugh so! This is an awesome idea. Thank you!
Miracles do happen ;)
Omg...the puppy cam gets me every time! Too much cute! That was a great binding idea!
Pam,
I'm new to your channel & am confined to bed w/a serious illness. You absolutely just brighten up my day! I love the sheer warmth & joy you exude just by being yourself & doing something you love! Thank you for your channel & the gifts you bring to me thru it.
Hey, Sherrilynn. I just found this video and your post. I hope you are doing alright now. God bless and keep you.
OMG sewing the microphone cord! LMAO! Only you, Pam, only you! Oh how much I enjoy watching your videos. They always make me smile and often make me laugh. All the while learning so many wonderful things in the world of junk journaling. Thank you.
Thanks for all of the footage of Sunny at the end. What a darling pup!
"let's roll with it!"
you are a GEM
this is my aspirational life motto
I can see I am never getting rid of anything again, lol! Junk mail has now become important stuff! I told my family, nobody touch the pile of junk mail! A tea bag wrapper with a rose, now has possibilities! Thanks so much!!
"Go for it Sister, and Brother, and Other" You're so entertaining. Love it!
That worked out great for sewing the signature and spine together. Excellent idea for an ephemera holder. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful Angela!
Angela how did you add a signature? I love this spine idea, Pam!
I literally come to your channel, not only for the tips and techniques, but too just listen too you. Talking to us and yourself, lol. It's entertaining and you make me smile with every video ;-) So thank you Pam!! So glad I found your channel ;-P
I appreciate that! Thanks and glad you are here!
@@ThePaperOutpost Your most welcome!
Pam, I hope it doesn't hurt your feelings, but you had me giggling myself silly. I really love watching/listening to you. I love this project. Now I have to check my closet when I go through it to thin it down. I hope there are good things there. I haven't looked for a while. So many things don't get worn after you retire. Many are just forgotten. Now they may have a new life. WooHoo! And now I have a use for my sewing machine too. Thank you! Never change...Please! 🥰👍🏻👏🏻
I may not be new at junk journaling and making junk journals however this video was super useful and I can’t wait to give it a go ❤️
Now that rocks!
Great idea! I want your dog!!!!❤️❤️❤️
:)
What a great idea for binding. Love your little fur baby.
Hi Barbara Jackola I am very grateful for the time you take to watch and respond! :)
Morning Pam , such a wonderful idea 💡💕
Hi Sadie Vega! Much appreciated! Pam :)
Aww sunshine just loves his momma u can see it in his little eyes xoxo hes a ham ha ha cute
Lol, "sometimes you just have to roll with it". I really enjoy your videos. This is a great idea. I keep trying to find a good way to store my ephemera, which is so overwhelming to do. Usually I don't even use it because it is in so many different places. This might work out to corral it.
Oh my goodness!!! I can't tell you how much I love love love this!!! I have so many ideas exploding in my head about how to use this!! I have so many supplies to use up that are perfect for this project. Thank you so so much for this idea!!!
I also realized I wasn't subscribed, so now I am.
Hi Patti B! Welcome to the family! Thanks for watching! :) Pam :) !!
I love seeing a new idea for binding. It helps me realize that there are many ways to bind and not to be so worried about it! Yes, page protectors are super useful!
Loving this idea!❤ Thanks for making me giggle!
Hi The Plum Creek Booksmith! So happy to hear this! TFW! :) Pam :) !!
Hello pam holly and sunshine and leonardo and happy beautiful drawings of the birds vibrant colors and love this idea I'm crafting it crafting it and crafting it
You are killing me, lol. I love to watch you work and being yourself. Love the Bird also. You are Awesome!
Oh Pam you are fantastic . You make me laugh when I am crying in pain . I thought I was going to choke to death when you said you sewed your cord in , I laughed out load . I love this vedio . I can make this I believe . My grandson who I raised since he was 16 , went to a garage sale and they had a bunch of material . So he asked the lady how much she wanted for all of it . She gave him a price and he bought it all for grandma . I really wondered what I was going to do with 2 large totes full and 2 large boxes full of all kinds of material . I thought of quilts but when I saw this ,I decided I would make some of these . Thank you so much for your videos . I love , love , love all of them . Thanks
I love that spine idea, I may just borrow it. Sunshine makes me so happy. He's adorable. Tfs Xx
A really fun idea, Pam! Sewing tip: purchase a “walking foot” and the machine will have a much easier time keeping things even and smooth, and going over bumps!
I will need to watch some youtube videos on this walking foot you speak of :)!! Thanks for the info!!
I have a walking foot for my Elena 520. I’ve never used it on paper though. It does feed evenly.
I really enjoyed this demo!! You are REAL! I love how you just go with the little “ mistakes”. No excuses, just spontaneous creative process.
You are so fun to watch. Love your chuckles. Love your work. I love this binding can use my quilt fabric to. And my beads to embellish. Thank you for teaching.
'If you're gonna have a hot flash you might as well be crafting' LOL omg she's fabulous!
I like the look and imagine I'll like the feel of this soft spine approach!
Great design and construction. This project would be just right for a collection of sport cards. Thanks for the video.
That is a fabulous idea! It works GREAT!!! I was going to ask about Holly and the Love birds (Happy and Leonardo?) . I heard Holly today but I miss your birdies. They've been so quiet. Sunny is just too adorable for words and it's always fun to watch him. Keep up the great work and thank you as always for being so inspiring!
Hi Katherine, everyone is dandy, probably sleeping or eating :) Big hugs!
Such an enjoyable video today! Maybe it's the new junk journal binding! The little boy Sunshine is the cutest! Tyfs! ~~hugs~~
Lots of hugs and light dear Barbara!! :)
@@ThePaperOutpost I see your sister was watching today! How lucky she is to have such a great sister!❤
This is a awesome project idea. The woman demonstrating how to do it was great also. Just went with the flow when some things didn't go quite right. She's awesome also.
Hi, Pam, you bet your life I’m ready! Love to watch you & all your babies! Pray you have a blessed day!🥰
Big hugs and many blessings!
Another great, FUN, practical, easy idea. Let’s tear up our clothes and create something!!! I’m here for the FUN! Just WHIZ!!! Yes!!!
i love this channel. Pam sounds like Rachel Maddow...calm and soothing.
Good Morning ☀️ Pam!
This is full of adorableness! And so useful!
I love love love it ❤️❤️❤️
Thank YOU so much!
You are so welcome my dearest Bina!!
Thanks to your enthusiasm, today I got out the sewing machine that I bought about 5 years ago or so (but never even fully unpackaged). Then with “reckless abandonment” spent the next 2 hours learning to thread it. I was giddy with excitement while making my first line of stitching. It was wondrous! I’m now stitching every thing not nailed down. 😬💗
I love Sunny and you make it so cute and enjoyable to watch
Oh just thought, if you sew bound several of those journals, you could then stack them and do the sew with yarn/string thing and have an even bigger journal! More scrapbook Joy!
I love you Pam! I’m so glad I found you and your videos!! You crack me up! Love the journal my mind is racing with ideas. Thank you!!
That is so awesome to hear!! Have lots of fun!
Super cute Pam! Also Sunny is the best mascot!! Great to hear Holly the announcer! Namesta Y'all 🥰🐞🤗
Namaste Lala!!!
"Sew/So Simple" binding method...TYFS!! Once again you made my day...making me smile & giggle along the way!! Sweet Sunny!! 🐶💋 Have a wonderful weekend Pam!! ❤
I love that name!!!!
@@ThePaperOutpost any suggestions if you dont own a sewing machine?
SO CUTE!!!!! OMG Sunny is so cute! Makes me want a puppy again...almost. :) Pam, really liked this one. You had about 1 inch left on the cuff and it would have been open - LOL. I enjoy your videos so much.
Thanks ..no shirt is safe from me now...hehehehe
Great project. 😊Thanks for Sharing. Happy crafting on a budget💲.Happy everything on a budget 💲. Stay safe. be well. see you in the next video 🎥 and on the flipside. 👼🌹
Hi Vanessa AngelRose Designs! Thanks bunches! :) Pam :) !!
A fun binding for small booklets. 😃
I ❤your Little Sunshine....he is SO CUTE.❤
Such a great idea! And simple to do proving you don’t have to make things complicated for them to be successful. At one point you said you should stop “blabbing” - never stop blabbing Pam. Thank you 😊💐
This is wonderful. I am learning to recycle paper and this will be awesome to put booklets together thank you
I’ve been scared to sew but you definitely made it look easy, I now have the courage to try!
You can do it!
During my power surge days, a baggie of ice placed on the back my neck was a God send! Project organiser might be a good name.
Love this work and love Sunny. Thank you
I’ve a zillion mag cutouts. This is super!
Let the fun begin!
If you want to keep your bobbin thread and the top thread on the respective sides (front or back) you can adjust your tension. You could use a heavier needle or a speciality needle (like maybe a leather or "heavy-duty" needle to sew more layers or the same number of layers of heavier fabric. I'm not good at making junk journals (but learning) but not so bad at sewing. Love, love, love your videos and listening to you "think out loud. You sound out loud like I think in my head! thanks for making my day every time I listen.
Awesome. That baby is so sweet!
Love this project and love Sunny...Maltese, best dog ever, he’s adorable 🥰
I just shared this with him...he is now puppy blushing ;)
Woman! What are you on? Whatever it is I want some!!!! You are hilarious, creative and watching you work is amazing! I love what you just made and can’t wait to try one! You’re great!
Sunny is so adorable!
Loved the binding tutorial and the pupdate from Sunny too super cute
Hi, Pam! It's been awhile since I've been been by.... Life... But I LOVE this idea. This solves a small "clears throat* printing mistake I made printing some pages for my bullet journal. Since getting into this stuff a few years ago, I find it hard to throw away anything. My family even shows me their used envelopes! So I couldn't throw away those pages I printed, especially because I couldn't figure out how to print them right! Lol this type of binding solves that AND makes it look gorgeous. Thank you! Oh, and I'm with you on the impatient crafter! Maybe we should form a support group!
Good project Pam. Will use this method for sure. TFS It was good to here Holly again, but I must admit I thought it was the love birds. 😁
Wonderful!
I'v loved watching this, a million things to make going round in my head! Love your wee fur baby too! x
Brilliant. Have been wtg. for this idea for years. Now. I will begin my first junque journal.
Let my journey begin!
Great binding technique, and it was so much fun watching you. Loved it when you said you sewed in your microphone cord. Why not? After all, we do make junk journals!😬😂
LOL..its not the first time either ;)
🤪
This has so, so many possibilities. Can’t wait to get back home and try it. Thanks, Pam!
Hi sis , your dreaming these ideas up n making them on video lol.you sewed your Mike cord omg you are so funny , give sunny big hugs xx sp
Morning Sweet Pea!! Funny thing is, its not the first time! :0)
@@ThePaperOutpost omgod ill have some of what your on , just a bit please , its a wander you didn't get electrocuted, that might remind you not to sew through it again , but that won't work if you do get electrocuted. Please be careful sis , need you xx sp
You crack me up, Pam. The fabric you used for the binding is very cool. I love how resourceful and clever you are!
Clever and Creative. Beautiful. The Visuals and your instructions were very helpful. Very Informative. Thank You for taking the time to make this video.
This is a very clever and original idea! It'll work nicely for my granddaughter who is collecting pen pals letters. Thanks!!
Sonny is so cute! Love his hair cut.
Love this spine idea. Have lots of old folders and material. Need to organize my little bits. Thanks for the ideas. Have a great day.
You are so welcome!
Fun!!! Tfs . Love that binding. Have a great weekend Pam. 💞🤗🇨🇦
Hey Pam, what a great idea this is. I love how rough, and organic it all looks with the torn fabric. Thank you so very much for sharing this idea with us!
You are such an amazing teacher. Love ❤️ your technique. Your also an inspiration to making junk journaling. TFS GOD BLESS........
LOve how you offer alternatives if people do not have the same tools/supplies that you do.TFS.
Love the rough look. Easy and works well.
You could make about 5 of those bunches and install them into a 3 ring 2 inch binder for storage! Love the idea! TYFS!
Wow! Very new binding idea for me! Thanks for sharing! 👏👏👏🤩
Love this! I watched lots of junk journaling videos, mostly yours, yesterday and ripped two old books apart, but I cut the spine on one, so I separated the back and front and plan to lay them out to glue one big piece of fabric to the front and back leaving room for a fabric spine, then sew in signatures, and sew to the binding.
Love this Pam - love all your videos - you have the most beautiful energy - you brighten moods and make people want to craft , what a wonderful gift you are - thankyou xx Lynne (australia)
Great idea! It must be tough though when no matter how great you are Sonny steals the show :-)
I am his roadie ;)
Thank you! Loved everything and your beautiful pet!
I love, love the look. I will definitely do this. I have a book I've covered that requires larger paper for signatures. I was trying to figure out how to do the signatures and now i know. Thx Pam
Pam you are so inspiring…I just adore your creativity and fun personality…I’m just loving going through your videos…I think I’m going to take a year to get through them! Yay! Lol
Watching you do those little pockets and sealing the bottom with the fabric made me think you could take plastic file pockets (or any see through plastic) and bind them the same way you did the entire project folder…then they would be mixed in with cardboard (to stiffen the folder) for even more ephemera pockets.
Love the look and practical use of this. You always amaze me.
When my machine arrives Monday this will be my first project! Thank you!
I just found your channel and my life is now better! I love this tutorial and can't wait to give it a try!
Pam, your dialog is priceless, as are you. Some days, you alone make me smile. I love your style and project too! I just might break out my Viking and make a book! Thank you!!!!!
Yay! This is so cool! Really love this look and the ease of it all.. My dad gave me birthday money, getting myself a new sewing machine! 🎂🥰
Happy birthday!! Have fun!!!
@@ThePaperOutpost Thanks! Can’t wait to sew again! 🥰😘😁
Love your ideas and like that it’s functional
Thanks so much!
What a super 💜💙💛 idea...favorite recipes for the kitchen! I'm going to be all over that one real soon. Thank you.
Not a beginner but I love this video. I am not a great sewer but this is something I am sure I can do. Thanks for sharing. Hi Sunny.🇨🇦
You can do it!
TU for your motivating, super ideas. Love your glue holder...would not have thought of this!😊
Thanks! I have to work on it's cuteness factor ;)
Love this idea Pam. One always wonders what to do with single sheets. So thanks a lot.
You are simply the best pammie.
