I just wanted to thank you for being consistent and being on YT. I have had RSV and Influenza A for the past 18 days and all I have watched, at night when the house is asleep, are your videos. Your voice is soothing and I love your sense of humor. You've kept me from feeling panicky, when I can't breathe during the night. I cannot thank you enough, now that I'm finally on the mend. I have always loved your videos but they've talked me through some scary nights as of late. I've been a fan for a very long time. I hope you continue making videos and podcasts for a long time to come! 🙃
Greetings All!! Many times when I'm using big holed beads, I put a dab ( or gwo) of glue on the end of the cord or embroidery thread and let it dry some before I shape the end ( both ends if using to tie in signatures so thread won't fray..UsIng the one end, roll glued end into needle shape and finish drying...a minute or two.. Works Great!! You can always trim that end if you don't like it when finished... gets grungy sometimes. Thanks for your Awesome Uploads and Creativity Pam!👍 Happy and Safe Blessed Holidays All!!🙏🤗💖🙋🏻♀️😇
I am so glad you are showing us on how to make journal with a hidden spine and how to handle all of the mishaps that might happen while doing this. Thank you, Pam!
Pam, Thank you for sharing your talent. My sister is now making a black and white journal: HINT: she has copied some of her favorite clothing pattern in "black and white". It looks amazing! So much fun!!
Maybe if you marked the back holes on the spine with a red marker, and then skip a row leaving it plain, then marking the next row blue, it would only take a moment and it would be a visual for getting the right holes each time.
Good evening Pam, I have been enjoying this very much! You make everything look fun, easy and interesting. Thank you so very much for all you do! Take care Hugs ❤️🤗🙏
Hi Pam! I enjoy your humming and I can't imagine that one person humming a little tune for her own personal pleasure would infringe on a copyright! I say Hum Away! 😉 I had to laugh at Sunny! His eyes always brighten when you say 'walk' and 'park'!! He's just so adorable...and a little gullible! 🤣
Pam If you put glue on the end of the string and shape into a point and let it set you can absolutely use as a needle :) I do it often as I can never find that retched needle when I need it :)
I adore that you chose not to use glitz, glam and color on the dangly beads... & that the sash is hessian/jute and cotton thread/rope ...looks really pretty 🤎 🐾 walkies for Sunshine! 🐾 hello from frosty & snowy Denmark 🌸❄️
who needs Mr. Rogers?? i have you, even tho he was my fave hero you are now the female version of my fave hero!! i always look forward to your quirkiness, love you to the moon!!
Oh Pam! I did not take heed of your wise words, but I laughed hysterically about it because I found myself crying alone in a dark bathroom (more like a well lit family room in front of my husband and my youngest daughter; so embarrassing) because I didn't mark my cover when I took a phone call from my oldest daughter, put my signatures down to go get a cup of coffee thinking that I totally got this, came back and started punching away, only to find out that I punched my signatures upside down from my cover. I've had three knee surgeries and a root canal in the past five years, and this hurt more than any of those combined. For goodness sake my friends, mark your work! 😂😂
Another good reason to use the waxy thread is that there is less chance of splitting the thread with your needle when you have re-entry through the same hole, (like the middle one). I just love your "Way-Out" button dangles and I think you should patent that term for those type of dangles if at all possible. "Pam's Way-Out buttons. Because that's where the fun is!" lol!
Just want to say thanks! Your Amazon supplies list is very convenient, I just ordered some waxed binding thread, and it took 26 seconds! Very happy. Thanks Paper Outpost!
Oh so glad I just found your channel. Its fun to hear you encourage ... you are so talented and a breath of fresh air. No you don't talk too much, crazy people.
Binge watching your channel.. so happy I found it!! You are stinkin hilarious! And you remind me - of me! LOL !!! Keep going Pam… you’re in a class of your own!! ❤️🎈😂
Hi Pam. Thanks for all your videos. If you stick the end of the thread in glue And twirl it you’ll have a hard pointy edge for threading through things
Listening & glancing as I prep for my day of doc visits. Copyrights... that "if in doubt" rule is good =D. Humming CAN be considered infringement (the tune and words/lyrics are considered separately). Best to create your own little tunes =D I plan to actually sit and WATCH this later, but I needed my dose of Pam before my day gets going... lol =D
Feeling consciencious, ( word may be spelled wrong or mis used, troublesome word for me. ) to say "i lub ya"... They may cart me away here as a fanatic, but its so easy to sit by ur campfire _ listen & learn. U r just a fabulous teacher. I have made a journal finally. To my surprise my fam fam liked it.
I just did a serious dive into my scraps and started some neutral master boards for use at a later date. I’m actually having quite a bit of fun with it.
When I’m doing traditional book binding, I hold the signatures in order and draw a diagonal line across the spine of the group, with the higher end near the front. Another way since you have so few, would be to put a number of dots on the spine matching the number of the signature. Then you’ll always know where that one goes, even if you get interrupted by a high speed dinosaur.
Coming along beautifully! Any color scheme could be added sparingly for a tiny pop of color if one had a mind to, One large ruby on the dangles could have a special meaning or impact 😉
Hi Pam love the tutorial on the hidden spine, did you get the photo of sunny and bunny i sent you by email, i couldnt resist taking the photo. love all your utubes, thankyou for sharing. xx
I need to do this for a project I did not start yet. My gosh I wish I had half of what was on your desk! paper really excites me I can’t wait to be able to experience real old ephemera if I ever find any. Real ledger paper or gothic script pages❤️❤️❤️ Oh I coffee dyed my first doilies but they practically fell apart. Is there a better way?????
Question lol - came back to watch again because i really want to make a curved spine - Can we use corrugated cardboard for the spine? because that would curve really nice and easy for the spine - just wondering - thank you Pam
Oh yes! A question for you... Are the 'video podcasts' the same as your regular M,W,F,S you tube videos, or are they completely new videos? Am I missing out? 😆
Ew! I have an idea. Get a few metal rulers, lay them perpendicular to bind, put each one in middle spread of each signature, press them, bear down on them simultaneously, getting them closer to the gluey spine. Yes? Lol. Imagine me helping you. Funny. But u sure get the ideas going. Thx.
I’m English, and I don’t think you sound English. But you often sound Irish. Not all the time, but every now and then I hear it. I don’t know if you have any Irish ancestry?
I almost did. My holes in my signature didn't match my cover. So I made a cover to match the signature and new signatures to match the spine. So I made 2 journals instead of 1 to save my work. Hope this helps you feel better
@@mydirtylittlehands4389 I do feel better. I know that feeling of being so discouraged after spending a long time doing something only to make a big mistake. I’m glad your brain spent that time problem solving. It took me a long time to learn that my brain needs time to work on a problem while I do something else-in the past I spent some of that time in tears. I’ve enjoyed watching many crafters on RUclips problem solve.
I am so grateful I found your channel. You are constantly inspiring me, and I really enjoy making journals now. Thank you for just being YOU.
Couldn't have said it better!

Loving this series of the steps to follow in baby steps 😊 hi sunny
Clear nail polish works for threading beads.
Pam! Your embroidery drawer looked like a unicorn’s nest. So much color. 🦄 😂

Happy Monday all! Late work day. Super excited to relax at three Outpost!!💕
Enjoying this neutral journey 🤍🤎🤍🤎
Pam: walk?

lol, so adorable 🥰
Hi Pam! Just remember this mnemonic "Right over left, left over right, makes a knot both tidy and tight". Love to Sunny! TFS 💕
Good evening Pam, I have been enjoying this very much! You make everything look fun, easy and interesting. Thank you so very much for all you do! Take care Hugs ❤️🤗🙏
Hello Pam & Sunshine, enjoyed the hidden spine and sewing of the signatures. TFS
good morning Pam - i love this series - i have not yet tried a curved spine - so thank you for teaching this to us - be well xx

The string and twine with beads looks perfect with that journal. I love the look! Sunny have fun on your walk! Love to Pam in the gang❤

I dont know about copy infringements, but i luv when u hum Superman theme. Its so funny I used to hum it to my kiddo when id lift her up.
Good Morning Pam !
Thank you for more Inspiration ❤
Thanks for the hidden spine tutorial
Very good instructions. 🤗🤗👍
The string is definitely a great idea because anytime you want to the market you would get your packages wrapped in brown paper and string
journaling is a super power!!!❤❤❤
Oh so glad I just found your channel. Its fun to hear you encourage ... you are so talented and a breath of fresh air. No you don't talk too much, crazy people.
I'm using embroidery thread. I run it through a block of beeswax to make it more sturdy. Works like a charm.

Awe merry Christmas Sunshine!🫶🏼
I put a little bit of glue on string end and it makes it stiff. Then it's easier to thread!
Listening & glancing as I prep for my day of doc visits.

This is really good instruction putting a journal together. Thanks!
Good to see you, Pam! I see what I did wrong when I attempted this! Now, I just put lace over the spine and call it a day.

I was also wondering if you would ever consider doing a tour of your craft area and show how you actually get things ready for your videos
Loving this series so much love how you are going step by step thanks for that so helpful
Hi Pam love the tutorial on the hidden spine, did you get the photo of sunny and bunny i sent you by email, i couldnt resist taking the photo. love all your utubes, thankyou for sharing. xx
Try not so long away it would look really nice just extra knots and that will take up some of the length and it will make it look really pretty

when I am sewing in my signature, I use a paperclip on the inside page to keep me from losing the end inside,
Hello, you mentioned sewing the signatures without a needle, it you coat the string end with nail polish it will become hard and stitching
Question lol - came back to watch again because i really want to make a curved spine - Can we use corrugated cardboard for the spine? because that would curve really nice and easy for the spine - just wondering - thank you Pam
Love this video, but can anyone tell me if you can do this in a soft cover journal (like Pam's collage cover one)?? Thanks !
Oh yes! A question for you...
Are the 'video podcasts' the same as your regular M,W,F,S you tube videos, or are they completely new videos? Am I missing out? 😆
Yellow stars
Journaling is a messy project!

Will have to try it did my first wrong
If you have 4 minutes, this video reminded me of this song from one of my favorite musicals! 😂😂
