I just love watching you work and adore your sense of humor. You make my day. My daughter passed a year ago. Watching you has been a life saving activity for me. You never know what your life has meant to me.
@@quichelorraine63 Lorraine, I hope you don't mind my assuming your name. My middle name is Loraine after my aunt. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you during this holiday season.

Pam, after our son passed 1 month ago today, I started using the many beautiful cards we received for journal cards, pockets, tucks, trimming the floral and many butterfly designs. I put them in my personal July & Aug. daily journal with pictures, etc. I didn't cover anything, all so pretty. I have tons of Mother's Day & Birthday cards from family & friends, so many pretty cards, just can't toss. Yours is a good idea for those that don't work that way. Now I will use those with your suggestions. So much paper to reuse/recycle. Thanks, have a beautiful day/week! Thanks for your daily ideas!!
Karen Bauer There are no words or phrases to say that provide any comfort for such a profound loss. We say, I am sorry for your loss simply because we do not know what else to say. I will then just say, I am glad you are using the cards you received in projects. A lovely tribute. May you continue to create beautiful things in spite of the horrific pain. Sending you many blessings.
Oh Karen I am so sorry for your loss of your son...losing a child is the hardest thing for a parent. Great that you made use of the cards as a memory in your journal. Do accept my sympathy and sending hugs your way.
@@karmaleenash2841 Thank you, it was the worst day of my life. He was 56, has a beautiful family and so much lost potential, his heart gave out while performing chores. A great loss, but I am heartened by the love and blessings of family and friends.
@@donnadegale-kalloo5926 Thank you, it is bad, but love and faith have helped us thru it. We cherish the memories, and have seen how much he was loved by the reaction to his passing.
Thank you Pam for inviting us into your wonderful world of creating - I always have a smile on my face watching and I DO talk to you while you're working - can't you hear me? 😄 great idea for cards and like you I have so many I will probably never use. 🙂💗
Very fun and you’re right about most of us having either new or used cards in our stash that can be given new life. 👍. Another inspiration to “create with reckless abandon”! 🤣🥰😂
Pam, I miss a few of your tutorials but when I get back, you wow me. I love how you think and create. And I look forward to your wonderful upbeat personality. Thank You.
Wonderful way to spend some time, when the weather is hot and muggy! I love the heat, but for most people, 34°C (93F)is over the top, in Denmark! ☀️ especially when the humidity is over 80%!! I have loads of sponsered cards, I've never sent and also, refuse to throw out! This will give them a second life! Thanks, Pam - love from Denmark 🌸💕
I sure love these journal cards! Great idea using greeting cards and to think I recently got rid of all of mine! Moving is not a fun thing. Tyfs! Please stay safe Pam!
aww i really adore your canter that comes out your pie hole lol, you have me smiling and chuckling to myself, i love it!! you do good work, i appreciate you!!
Oh Lordy.... you are a tonic. Good company whilst doing projects. A happy chatter in the background Pam. A friend just gifted me a stack of cards she had in storage. Yay! I’ll start working on some. I’ve been in isolation for 5 months and I would go completely bonkers if I wasn’t a paper person. Keep ‘em coming sister. Thank you x 🇿🇦💫🌸
Pam, I have to tell you about my little multi-poo dog. Everyday when I watch your videos, she hears Holly and wants to be on my lap to see Holly. It happens every time Holly talks, whistles. It’s so cute. She thinks Holly is talking to her.
You are he greatest. So fun to watch your videos. I will not miss a one. I watch them over and over. So much I learn and such great ideas. Thank you. You are a great teacher. We were on vacation last week at Fripp Island and I watched your videos listening to the ocean. Wonderful. Sally in SC
So happy to see this. I bought a" lot" of greeting cards from an estate auction ,thinking there had to be something artsy to do with them. Now I have my answer. They will be made into creations made by Mom or Grandy for my family. Pam, you cheer me up on a daily basis. You are like sweets without calories ! 😂

I loved learning to use a sanding block to knock back the shine from a greeting card. Thanks for the hint on what to do with all the leftover cards I have accumulated. I now make my own so I have just been storing the commercial ones.
Great ideas!! Your comment about the cards just being card stock really struck me. Yes, it’s a base like any piece of card stock! Thanks so much for sharing, Pam! ❤️
