We don't like the announcing dude. Can you replace him with somebody less obnoxious?
hi pro
Him: “I sure hope my sword is not too heavy”
Forged fans: better luck next time
😂😂💯

It's a stick.
@@AlbertAlbertB. It's a ball
There are other reasons yours arms can look like that
@SpiralY I know but in my mind there was a clear opportunity to make that joke
ohhhhh, you do archery
Is it even a question that the weapons would kill i mean this guy could kill a guy with a Toothbrush
Yes
Toothbrush is actually pretty good weapon
@@ReasonAboveEverything of course, my martial arts teacher literally destroyed the best student with one.
ZA3GAMING I know a guy whose father was killed with one when he was in prison.
*keel
Fun fact for those that care: pirates like Blackbeard didn't actually care very much about gold and silver. In fact, the real treasure was high value goods like sugar cane, spices, cotton, tobacco and dried fruits.
Well since he didn't care much about selling it and getting the booty for itI assume he just really loved spinning new clothes out of cotton and eating sugar canes and dried fruits?
@@denster7715 Obviously it would be sold. It was just quicker and easier to transport stuff like that and sell it at the various ports than it was to lug around a lot of heavy metals.
@@fredkay6743 I gotcha. Just making a bit of fun. Have you any idea if there are good books on the matter?
Won't lie, you had me at the start. I thought you were going to say they only cared about freedom, equality and fairness.
Don't forget cloth. There's a ton of money in that trade.
Every time someone says "damascus" I want to keel myself
it's trendy
“I’ve never made a blade of this size or type. Better use Damascus.”

In this show, you make a heavy weapon, you better hope your opponent's weapon breaks.

Nice. 🤣🤣
But will it qat (cut)
2:01 the legendary lines..
There are two things that I really enjoy about this show: one is how many of the smiths who are "simple" knifemakers and still enter the competition knowing they may have to make a poleaxe or a crossbow, the other being how genuinely nice and humble they seem, the guy who loses is always really cool about it
you kinda have to be humble to do forgery.
@@somenbwithabadhistoryteach5872 Seems so, and it's so nice to see
Also how judges encourage the losers they don't insult
"My sword is almost together, almost all 'One Piece' now"
A fellow weeb. Hello
"It will Killlll with a sweet smile"

Were thinking the same thing right?
Dude that won really was a pirate. Even his attitude at the end took on a pirate like feel. Hahaha
Even off the first test I could tell Jason would win, when seth’s blade didn’t cut nearly as deep into the dummy body, I knew they’d pick Jason’s.
I'm no kind of expert, I just really like this show. I think this is the 1st time I've ever commented and I've been watching now for almost 2 years. The man tht won really looked like he was surprised. I'm happy for him because he did everything by hand. Wow. Amazing!
Lies you have commented before

@@cua2279 like I said, I thought it was the 1st time I commented, I guess I was wrong then. I like the show. I don't know what shows I commented on but if people are saying I commented, I guess I did. I honestly didn't think tht this would really matter to anyone because I'm not an expert, I just like the show. I think it's cool.
When Doug is exited he says “et weel keel” when he’s just kinda whatever he’s “it weel kill”
Someone commented once saying if it passes the test he says it will keal (Keeps Everyone ALive) not kill dunno it that’s true or not I just watch snippets on RUclips’s
I love that the two handed cutlass won this.
Forged in Fire : we want you to make this iconic blade
Competitors: Damascus Damascus Damascus Damascus Damascus
I like to watch Forged in fire because of two reasons. 1. Weapons. 2. Doug n him saying ".....will kill"....
8:59 that fake surprised face as if he didn't know he was going to win
Makes it to the finals, knows it’s heavy while crafting it. Laughs it off, and says it is what it is.
These people must not watch the show cause 90 of weapons the min it's heavy they lose.
As a descendent of Edward Teach, it is an honor to have my ancestor represented this way.
I thought Blackbeard didn't sire any children, aside from an alleged daughter but that's speculation
4:46 this guy is my mood
I’m only here for one reason and it’s to hear him say “IT will KEEL”

Me too
Jason seems like the nicest guy ever. Wish him all the luck in the world!
So humans beat machines again?
😂😂
Got to love the way that they do the strength test in this episode.. Swinging the sword in such a direction that, if it were to snap, the chunk of heavy, sharp metal would fly straight at the guy who forged it xD
As soon as I saw the first strike of Seth’s sword I knew he lost.
I knew he lost when he said to use it as an anchor because it was heavy. He knew it should've been lighter.
Jasons moustache is amazing
Back in my hometown we found two Flintlock Pistols in my Grandmother’s well
Interesing...
mikołaj Świątkowski It was neat, we donated them to the local museum.
Go to rick Harrison’s pawn shop and you will get 2 $
That's dope.
That One dude thanks man
Jason always leaning away from the swings like its 4 foot away from him hahahaha
2:31 I thought he started singing lol
Seeing how those swords could chop through most of the ribs of the dummy just makes me feel bad for anyone who died in real life to one of those swords.
It would be crazy if the loser got mad and started trying to hurt someone with the sword that “underperformed”😂
Doug will keel him
I think that every time they choose the winner. Lol
Imagine Doug charging and yelling "I WILL KEEEEL"
It will not keal 😅
" I'm doing Damascus for all the handle pieces"
You poor poor fool
Ok who can imagine that someone makes a sword that is so sharp it cuts the body in half
Anyone else thinks those guys just started Forged in Fire so they could play with swords all the time?
You _Arrgh_ our new Forged in Fire Champion!
😂
IN A WORLD WITHOUT GOLD WE MIGHT’VE BEEN HEROES
If you turn captions on well Doug is doing the kill test, it says "Blade impact sounds" lol
Imagine how cool Blackbeard felt holding that
I started watching this show back in 2017. I didnt know there were more seasons. Im so glad i subbed to this channel
I beg the producers to cut the fake AF sound effects of the blades cutting.... Going through the pirate flag wouldn't make those ridiculous noises
They need new foley's for sure.
7:51 YARRR righty Jason! lol that got me
The judges must feel so satisfiyed for using the weapon and attacking a dummy
someone please make a compilation of keels
They already is 😂
Gabbz Abbz where ?
I love the way he says: “It will KiLl
Doug has the funnest job of all the judges for sure
thought Doug gonna cut in half that dummy 🤣
Best quote in this show "it will keel"
"It's heavy..." Time to hit the breaks man.
We all know the real reason why that one arm is stronger. 1:27
Archery.
@@somenbwithabadhistoryteach5872 first of all, archery works your back, not your arms

I love Jason, definitely one of my favorite competitors.
For today's test, we'll chopping into this, cast iron 454, engine block.
I love this channel because The judges do test cuts
It will kill. That face expression 👌
Lemme give my expert on infamous Blackbeard cutlasses a call haha
I think all of the judges should have a forging competition
Why do people who enter these competitions think heavier is better when they’re making it?
The only time a heavier blade wins is when the lighter blade fails.
Judge totally almost said bundle of booty at the end 😂
blackbeard after seeing this: ZEHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
6:49 *finishes test*
puts glasses on
This is the first of these I've watched that didn't have some sort of DQ for being out of the parameters, breaking, or being uncomfortable to weild.
Your weapon sir...will Keel. That's it as far as I'm concerned, job done!
If the dummy wasn’t mounted like that the first guys sword may have cut it in half
That's just a cutlass blade with a mortuary sword hilt. That looks a lot more reminiscent to the swords used on Black Sails
Its kind of dangerous grinding steel without a mask
Dude.. charcoal forge, hand beveling, hand hamering, this is what blacksmithing is all about
I feel like it’s unfair when they go back to their home forge and one guy has thousands of dollars in equipment and the other guy has his arm and a hammer. But when the arm and the hammer wins, that’s a real forged in fire champion.
I'm a retired pirate. I served in the Cornish Rebellion of 1557 and looted many Spanish ships years later. These swords are legit.
Got to love American Terry Pratchett and UK Terry Pratchett are both swordsmiths. But American Terry Pratchett made a living of it.
Isn't Seth looking quite similar to Brutus from Popeye cartoon show while wearing that blue T-shirt.
this is the best weapons created channel i ever seen before.
it’s a TV show
Red Haired Shanks entered the chat
So what I got out of this vid is that one of their cutlasses are able to deliver more so light and swift blows and the other can deliver heavier blows(I think I’m wrong pls warn me if I am)
You're wrong, the light blade is easy to wield, the heavy blade is difficult to wield and is top heavy, making it even more difficult than it would be if it was just heavy. How heavy a blow is doesn't matter on a weapon meant for slashing and slicing anyways.
7:52 ARRRRighty Jason
Way to go captain white Beard black Beard would be proud
His arm!!
SO HAPPY BIG DOG WON
That’s the best pirate I’ve ever seen
I love pirate
'Test the lethality of your blade'
*IT'S A SHARP, METAL OBJECT; OF COURSE IT'S LETHAL*
I honestly don't understand how you could go on a show like this without ever having made a blade bigger than a knife. Seems like all of these guys say "I've never made a sword before".
4:47 me too bud me too
1:26 same problem, different reasons
