    Why are manufacturers and customers always so concerned about the Camera resolution on their cellphone? Are customers just buying into pointless hype? 50MP is a really exceptional camera.
    If you're a RUclipsr or photographer, you will need to buy real professional equipment. I think I speak for 98% of users when I say the processor speed, screen, wifi, and quality of calls is more important and manufacturers should stop focusing on how many megapixels the Camera has.
    I wish manufacturers would just concentrate on building a phone with exceptional processors, screens and connectivity, and worry less about the camera so it keeps the price down.

      We live in the social media era. Most of the photos people take end up on a platform or another and people want them to look good. A good camera helps with that.
      It might not be as important to you but it is for a lot of people. Not saying it's good or bad. That's just the way it is

      basically where I'm at as well...I just browse youtube, online, a little social media, occasional call, text/IM, and occasional cat pic taken lol. I've toyed around with a similar specced phone to this and the dimensity 700 cpu is the real deal, it really flies in normal usage. Never been much of a cellphone gamer, I honestly found most of them predatory pay 2 win garbage. The only thing this phone doesn't have that's become rather common these days is NFC, but, I've honestly never used it even on phones that had it honestly. This is only $10 on boost right now

    Had the Samsung A71, OnePlus Nord, OnePlus 8, and this the best by far along with being cheaper. Don't care about paying for things with my phone, don't care about super high quality pics that have to get downgraded to send anyway and the Moto doesn't have several annoying issues that always get missed by reviewers. And it the clincher: it has a headphone jack!!

    • @sharkwhisperer7326
      @sharkwhisperer7326 Год назад +3

      Right, you will very scarcely use the NFC to pay for items. I've had the 7T for 3 years and only used it once! I don't however like the 7T's manual flash on feature that didn't want to work for me the other morning, but nonetheless, it's a solid unit that even surpasses it's successors. But having a jack means you can connect it to a big bluetooth speaker, among other things!

    • @koreyb

      This is how I feel, too. Other than taking some quick pictures of family and friends, I don't take a whole lot of pictures, so I don't care about the camera. I mainly use my phone as a phone and to chat and text to run a few basic apps like Lyft and Uber. Motorola phones are meant to be used for these purposes and they excel at them. They also come with stock Google Phone apps so I can easily screen out scam calls. That is worth a huge amount to me, because I actually use my phone as a phone and I was tired of getting 16 scam calls a day.

    I literally paid $10 for this phone in June 2023 in a promotion from Boost. Probably offering it to everyone to make up from the hack lol. It's only 64 GB but my previous phone (LG K51) was 32 so 64 seems massive by comparison. Great phone, and I'm super happy with it.

    • @SolidSnake4Ever2003
      @SolidSnake4Ever2003 Год назад

      I'm thinking hard about getting this for $10 on boost as well, I think last year some time I read ATT bought them so they'll finally get signal here where the previous sprint towers they were using were non-existent here. My phone needs have massively changed these days, I don't need the most cutting edge thing. I've played around with phones of similar spec to this and they were fine in daily usage. The only thing this phone doesn't have that's become pretty common these days is NFC I've read, but, honestly I've never even used it on phones that have had it anyway.

    Well, I got mine free from Total. I had a choice between a Galaxy 14, a phone I already have with T-Mobile or The Moto. This is a good a nd bad phone. I am disappointed in the fact that there is no tap feature for Google Pay. A big camera is no big deal. Anything over 5 MP is good enough. I am impressed with the speed though and the colors really jump out at you. I always set my phones on battery saver. This phone has a superior battery saver along with a decent size of the battery. At the end of the day with my Galaxy A14, I would be left with 50-65% vs 70 and up with both heavy used watching RUclips videos. Its a pretty decent phone, but I will go for a Galaxy next time. I am not saying that this phone is not worth it, its just what you want out of it. Its a good budget phone at the time being two years after its release. Its always good to wait until these phones are sent to prepaid companies vs upgrading on the spot as they make so many phones every year, but can't even sale just a fraction of what they make. That is why these phone tend to drop from $350 down to about $150 after while which is a good way to take advantage of something decent and half the price.
