- The Festool clamps designed for use with their guide rails and MFT3 tables are great, but perhaps a little expensive. In this video we take a look at two more alternatives you may with to consider.

Bought the DeWalt Tracksaw Guide Rail clamps (DWS5026) years ago. They work perfectly on the Festool rails, and with my TSO Guide Rail square as well. No modification required. The do not work in 20mm holes on the MFT's, but they do work on the side tracks for your table.
Hi Warren, Yes, they work well in the track. I modified one so it could be used with an MFT3. ruclips.net/video/sUzGcKFOvMc/видео.html
great idea, best regards from italy
Thank you Camillo.
...and greetings from Australia.
Hi Darren, would Any of these clamps work in T track? I can see that there are different sizes of t track so I don’t want to take the risk of buying some if it doesn’t work. Thanks.
Hi Laurence, The Microjig clamp is the closest. It doesn't use T-Track, but rater a dove tail groove. The others are designed for track saw rails and MFT3 style tables. None of these are designed for standard T-Track.
Darren, where did you source the drill pro clamps from?
Hi Greg, from here www.banggood.com/Drillpro-Quick-Guide-Rail-Clamp-Carpenter-F-Clamp-Quick-Clamping-for-MFT-and-Guide-Rail-System-Woodworking-DIY-Hand-Tool-p-1787989.html?cur_warehouse=CN&rmmds=search, Cheers.
Maybe 3d printing a dovetail adapter for the clamp? 🤔😉
👍
P.S. Dewalt clamps work great on the new milwaukee track saw
I purchase a high end plunge saw, then must buy a very expensive guide rail.....why would I then adapt a cheap vice that could damage my over priced guide rail? That just makes no sense whatsoever!
Hi Tom. The point of this video was to show people which clamps work with the track saw without damaging them, and which ones would do damage, so they can make an informed decision.
@@DarrensWorkshop Oh key doe key so......see what you mean. I should take my wife's advice n button my lip sometimes.😋
@@tomclarke1768 Hi Tom, it’s all good. Please feel free to ask questions.
