Hey. Thank you! I only use a Paperlike screen protector on the iPad. On the Galaxy Tab and my Wacom One 13 Touch, I don't use a screen protector. The Galaxy Tab doesn't need because the pen tips are rubber and give enough friction. The Wacom One wasn't too slippery for me, but what might make it better is getting a set of the felt nibs for the Wacom One standard pen to add more friction. Oh, of course the normal Tab S9 model is a better route. But for the more budget-conscious artist on the move, they might not want to spend that much more initially.

How well does the FE run clip studio paint when animating with lots of layers? Can it handle that well or do you think the non FE s9 series is more adapted for heavy animation?
I have no experience with animating so unfortunately, have not tested that on here. But I still would not recommend the FE models for animating. With painting, I know it wouldn't be too difficult to bump into some limitations if I tried to some larger, more serious work. SO my assumption is that it would handle much beyond just very basic animating. It's probably still better to go with a computer for animating, but if you're set on a mobile tablet for that, I reckon you'll have to look at the higher-end models of the Tab S9 series (plus or ultra) or look into the iPad Pro. Benefit of Tab S9 though is the SD card slot for more storage, which you might need for this, and is quite costly to bump up with iPads
@@EyekooDrawsStuff I have a great custom-built PC at home I use for animating but I get put-off animating on it just because it's a shared computer and it's in our office room. I don't necessarily need to animate heavily on my tablet but I think it would be neat to be able to work on my projects on the go/in my own room, I draw much more than I animate. I'll also use whichever tablet I get for when I start college in January! I'm pretty split between the FE and S9 but I may go with the S9 just for the snapdragon processor and the amoled, especially since I've been able to find it on sale :) Thanks so much for your response! Initally I wanted to do animation full-time but I opted for pharmacy so I could study it at the college(s) here where I live and get a guaranteed job around here quicker :,) But I love art and animation so I'd never give it up fully! 😃

The nib will last a long while because of it being rubber on a glass surface. It will still wear down over time but this should be very slow. The case is just a cheap one I picked up from Shopee, nothing special
Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to test the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, so I cannot give an informed opinion on this. I do recall seeing other perspectives that it's pretty good value for money, but the line quality with the S Pen is still superior. As a painter, that might be less of an issue though

I'm busy working on a video and article about that. Second Screen can be used for drawing but I would instead recommend getting the EasyCanvas app instead or SuperDisplay. These allow for cabled connection which will be more reliable across most situations.
@@evelynnkda8900 CSP is available on the Play Store and Samsung Store. So you can use it, yes. If you want to use the tablet with your computer, you need a licence for CSP on your computer
@@evelynnkda8900 depends on how hard you push it. S9FE is not a super high-performing device so you will have to be mindful of canvas and brush sizes, having many detailed layers and such. So as you learn those limits, you might have to adapt your approach. That said, I haven't tested the full functionality of it on android or tested those limits. But I do know that it works and works well enough. I'd still recommend it

Hi. You can use the pen that is included with the tablet. There is no need to buy a pen separately unless you want a different type of pen. There are some other that are compatible, but the S Pen is great
The tablet on its own, no. But if you have illustrator on your computer and then use the S9 FE as a drawing tablet with your computer, then you can use it
Are you sure it's not on wifi? Because I thought this too initially, but wifi gets turned on automatically when you activate second screen. You don't need internet, just the wifi connectivity
@@EyekooDrawsStuff Nah I don’t see the Wi-Fi symbol. I don’t know technicalities but the quality of connection is directly related to where I place my tablet in relation to my laptop. If I position it beneath my laptop stand, the connection is terrible but if either side of my laptop then it’s fine 🤷♂️
It doesn't show in the status bar at the top but when you bring down the full settings and notification panel, the wifi should show as active. Not for internet, but just for the casting of you computer screen. And, if you were to turn off the wifi on the computer (i mean completely turn off, not just disconnect from network), it would disconnect from the Galaxy Tab as well :-)
Idk why but my Tab S9 FE Plus screen is pixelated when I use Second Screen. I tested the Clip Studio application and the line is horrible, it's all shaky and pixelated. Why? ;-;

Ah, as far I recall, it's not possible to program the button, which is unfortunate. I always use my pen buttons for colour picking.

Look into "paperlike" and soft matte screen protectors. Glass is always way too slippery for a lot of pen use.
Why Fe? Normal edition has an Oled screen. But, still Fe edition uses P3 color space, so yeah. Both of them are great yk

I thought that i needed the Oled but honestly its not necessary. I have the colors in Neutral mode anyways, because vivid mode is not accurate.

Generally fine. Some apps will handle it better than others. I normally wear a palm rejection glove though anyway

Does the second screen work seemlessly or is there noticeable lag and latency issues?
This I believe will vary for different devices depending on PC hardware. For me with WiFi 6E on my ROG Strix G16, I find it very smooth while drawing

Yep, if the Second Screen feature doesn't work smoothly, then you can try EasyCanvas
iPad also an option with EasyCanvas.
Astropad is better but will cost quite a bit more...worth it if you know you will use a lot
