Honestly you hit the nail on the nail on the head. This was a song a lot of angsty and frustrated teens growing up in broken homes could relate to. But also sort of was a... idk if "anthem" is the right word but it's the closest I think of. It was a voice for many of the voiceless teens back then (including myself). The vibe of the song really hits differently. It's almost as if it went from being a "angsty frustrated teen", to being a "hopeless and desperate adult".
There really isn't anyone who can do what he does.. dude gets so much hate, but he's fucking INSANELY talented and he knows what he's doing. Respect to Ronnie and the band, and respect to Roach for supporting it.
The best covers are always made when an artist puts some of themselves in to it. Then it's Ronny. Pooring every ounce of his sole into eatch and every sylible....
🤘🏻😭💭 Listening to the lyrics being sung this way, makes my reflect back to Jacoby when he was writing this song. I feel so bad that he was in such a dark place and feeling this way.😢
When I was a teenager, I had Chester, Shaddix, Amy Lee close to my heart and soul so much they were like my voice weeping and screaming all the pain, the depression that I was going through... I am a multiple rape survivor, tried way too many times to kill myself, I've been forced to marry someone I didn't want and felt like trapped into a never-ending nightmare, and it's like with the Covid-19 that I have started to see light in my life, with my 2 beautiful daughters and this song was very very helpful to me and Ronnie's version has caught me off guard so much it hit me way too much close to a place where I was a real mess... My whole body is marked with cuttings and they are a reminder of the long journey through darkness that I went through... Ronnie is now like a family member, like Chester, Shaddix and Amy Lee, and I cannot thank them enough for what they have done for me and how grateful I am... I'm almost 45 and I'm still fighting to remain in this world, and it's not easy, but I am trying to be there for my daughters and make sure they know that I love them, even when I think of killing myself, and I want them to be healthy and happy, so that's why I am sticking to their lights to stand on my two feet... 🤲🙏😘🙏🤲
Amazing song, really hit some of my emotions during certain parts of the song. Amazing vocals, amazing video, and thank you for completely reimagining this song and making it your own. I can not wait for the next one y’all bring out.
Watching this was the first time I heard it too, genuinely in tears right now, lost my father 3 weeks ago, still really raw and dealing with suicidal ideological thoughts for the last 7 years, this really hit home hard. ty for the reaction, this was mine.
The song feels different because it's not lost in a mess of heavy music, the original had all this meaning in the lyrics and the only think us teens could hear is heavy music and anger. The original just doesn't take advantage of the lyrics anywhere as much as this does in my opinion.
The song it's crazy stuff (well basically everything what came out of the Ronnie mouth) it's a shame that this time they don't take it seriously on the edition like the amazing work that they do in "Watch the World Burn".
Like many folks i jammed out to the original Pappa Roach version not fully appreciating the depth of the lyrics. Ronnie and FIR reimagined version put the lyrics front and center with the raw emotion and true heartache that people that are going through mental struggles deal with on a daily basis. Took years of constantly reminding myself that the "bad" things that we end up putting on a pedestal and focusing on are not the true sum of where we are at in life and where we hope to go. Merely a stepping stone to better things and more often than not gives us the chance to really focus on the good that happens around us daily. Even the small innocuous moments are the building blocks of getting better and healthier, replcing the bad with the good as the focus. Part of being human is dealing with these adversities and realizing that they are just snapshots of our lives and learning to manage them and not letting them manage us. Phenomenal rendering of this song!!
Last cover similar to this was Hurt by the late Johnny Cash. He made it a different song. He made it his. No disrespect to Trend Reznor. His song was his too. Last resort now has a second owner.
if you listen really carfule you can hear areosmith dream on on the piano after it gets quiet and he starts playing again with the violins and everything listen for it you can fallowit for most of the song
I listened to watch the world burn on repeat a million times. Please tell me you hear the beat at the end of this song that almost matches the beat at the end of watch the world burn?…
This is perfect! The original was us as teens, this version is us as adults. The world ignored us as teens when we reached out for help, but now as adults we still have those feelings but the world expects us to hide it behind a smile. The crumbling builds are us on the inside, and what the world expects us to be are the buildings coming back together. Basically they tell us you can be broken but don't show it because we won't help.
moi j aime bien les reprises dont il change tout l aspect musical et en meme temps donnant un coup de merveille et cette voix de ronnie est exceptionnel.
it's a testament to ronnies raw talents and emotion when it comes to singing, that every single reaction to this has been the same. Awe and goosebumps, He's not just singing lyrics off a page he's put all of his emotions into them as well.
Okay WTF Ronnie! First he does this with his own songs, now he's covering other bands songs and doing the same thing? What can Ronnie NOT do someone please tell me, what can Ronnie Radke NOT make sound beyond words incredible? OMG! I LOVE this song and this makes me LOVE Ronnie and Falling in Reverse even MORE! Anyway this song HIT/SMACKED me HARD, the lyrics are so hauntingly beautiful and relatable I've been really struggling with depression for the last few weeks now. The last couple of days have been the worst, I've NEVER thought about taking my own life or cut myself and I NEVER would. BUT this song is depression/anxiety in a nutshell, the raw emotion in Ronnie's voice is insane. You can feel it in your soul literally OMG! I'd LOVE to see Falling in Reverse live, I'd lose my voice screaming the lyrics to all the songs they played. Popular Monster would make me have zero voice cause I'd scream the lyrics to that song so loud, I'd bawl my eyes out too, and if they played this song I'd cry harder.
As a young woman/teen, I went to 10+ of SOAD's concerts and once to Serj's solo show, many mosh pits! Lots of pushing, shoving, but I never was hurt (im only 5'2 and survived just fine 😂). Once a man with nipple rings crowd surfed shirtless and had one uhh.. accidentally forcefully removed 😬 but most of the time it was all good
This song game out during my Senior year of highschool.... but bit of a personal story.. This Reimagined version: Goosebumps...... just.... goosebumps...... And quite a few tears.... 😭 The Origional: The original song, came out at a godsend moment for me. I was dealing with a relapse (for lack of a better term to use) of a medical issue in my late teens that had my lungs randomly collapsing. Was in a really dark place due to the constant collapses + scars from surgeries..... the Original is what kept me from staying down and gave me the strength to claw my way back out of that pit. ---- THIS is how i felt when i heard the original.. THIS is what i was hearing when i heard that original song... its what gave me the courage to not back down and give up. Yes i was 'head-banging' to the original (i even do the same to this version, just at a more sedated pace), but the feelings THIS song give.. are what i was dealing with at that moment... Having a spontaneous lung collapse every 2 weeks (damn near to the hour.. got to the point i was joking with the EMT's and Medical staff "see you in 2 weeks" ) left me in a really dark place... 3:17 - 4:01 = that moment when i was at my lowest during those days, literally teetering on a knife-edge ...... 4:03 - 4:16 = what was going through my mind for a solid 2 hours while i saw on the edge of my bed spinning a knife around between my hands....... simply so tired of seemingly having nothing to look forward to but the next lung collapse, another chest-tube, and a 2nd planned surgery 'if/when' it happened again..(which it did, both) 4:16 + is what this song, in its original form, did for me. Many people 'rocked out' to Last Resort. It was their 'angry escape' song of sorts from everything from a bad day at school, looing a game, or just angry at life in general. For some of us, it had an entirely different meaning. Ronnie Captures THAT side of the song that those of us who latched onto it as a lifeline felt with this Reimagined version. 💜
The set is the SAME on they used for the Watch The World Burn music video, and the ending of this music video is almost the same BUT the world is being put back together it's NOT burning anymore.
Herman Li of Dragon force described Ronny as a "Modern Day Rock Star". He really is, and with a vocal range that Freddy Mercury would have been blown away by.
This young man comes very close to Chester Bennington. As with Chester, you can feel the pain in his scream. LP should get him and work with him. He sings like an angel and screams like the devil. Just great 🖤🎧 Just like him, you feel the pain because he transports it authentically. Just great, can't get enough. I think he would be a worthy successor to Chester and could revive LP. Nobody can replace Chester, but this young man is damn close. He gave me goosebumps like only Chester could. A Masterpiece ❤
You fell what I felt. I wish his version had come out last year when I had my attempted suicide. I really feel that I would be in a different place than I am now.
After disappointment i had when Watch the world burn came out, this one is exactly what i craved after hearing The drug in me is reimagined.. It's perfect.
He rebuilds a world after he destroyed it in Watch The Word Burn
Exactly, I was waiting for this comment!
Fuck yeah
I was thinking the same thing. 👍
I've only seen like 2 reactors get that right off the bat unfortunately
YES!!!! I was thinking the same thing! He was the only one left after watch the world burn. He’s at his lowest so he reversed it.
It's a whole new song at this point at least to me. Before it was for angry teens, now it's for broken adults is the best way I can describe it.
Yes teen angst turned to broken/emotional adults
Couldnt be a more perfect description
Spot on
Honestly you hit the nail on the nail on the head. This was a song a lot of angsty and frustrated teens growing up in broken homes could relate to. But also sort of was a... idk if "anthem" is the right word but it's the closest I think of. It was a voice for many of the voiceless teens back then (including myself). I love this description! Definitely 💯
Such a masterpiece. Heard this song hundreds of times but I don't think I've actually "heard" it until Ronnie's version.
You put it perfectly! This is exactly how I feel too.
Same
Couldn’t have said it better
That is exactly what my boyfriend told me.
This is the perfect way describe the feeling
The original makes you feel the rage and anger. This version makes you feel the sadness and tears. Both versions are perfection ❤
The emotion that he puts into his vocals is what makes him a fucking stand out frontman
We're blessed to be living in the same universe with a musical legend like Ronnie!
This is Ronnie's universe. We just live in it
i just wish he was less of a dick head lol
I was blessed to have gone to Mojave High School with him ❤
Oh yes. Your comment gave me chills because it’s true! We are so blessed 😭
this Version hits diffrent...Goosebumps the hole time ❤
I love how the buildings at the end are falling in reverse, nice touch
That is a nice touch indeed.. well sighted
There really isn't anyone who can do what he does.. dude gets so much hate, but he's fucking INSANELY talented and he knows what he's doing. Respect to Ronnie and the band, and respect to Roach for supporting it.
why Ronnie Is hated?
The best covers are always made when an artist puts some of themselves in to it. Then it's Ronny. Pooring every ounce of his sole into eatch and every sylible....
Its just perfect
A song is just notes and melodies. Music is emotion... And I felt this
The rumour in the industry is that he laid the basic vocals in 25 minutes which is insane because they used most of it in the final recording.
It's actually what Ronnie said himself on Twitter. Could this be a lie? Sure, but why should he? If this came out it would be incredibly embarrassing.
That's cool. Thanks for sharing that.
This man is a treasure to music.
My goosebumps got goosebumps 😶
papa roach version is what I needed at an angry age.
Ronnie's version is what I need to as a broken adult.
Epic follow-up to Watch the World Burn as the endings mirror each other!
Radke is OK, but Will Ramos (Lorna Shore) is the superior vocalist.
That’s absolutely facts to see them both tho do a collab would be 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
🤘🏻😭💭

His voice. He is so talented, I could listen to this nonstop
This is emotional overload ❤️
I know he likes freddie mercury, if he can pull this song of live, it would be a Freddie performance!

Hey Richo, we're still waiting for your reaction vid to the latest EC song "Everytime we touch"! 🤙
Thanks for the reaction to this one, it's hauntingly beautiful.
Amazing song, really hit some of my emotions during certain parts of the song. Amazing vocals, amazing video, and thank you for completely reimagining this song and making it your own. I can not wait for the next one y’all bring out.
I love this song but the mustache is what got you this view
Factssss
I adore your reactions friend.
What’s even more insane is that Ronnie tweeted he did tbr vocals for this in a SINGLE TAKE. Unreal talent
How do you not have a play button? Your channel is amazing.... also love this reaction. I instantly subscribed.
Have to also give big props to whoever put this video together as well. The imagery helps magnify the mood.
I don’t get goosebumps a lot. But I sure did listening to this song. Absolutely amazing!
I was waiting for this song and the new electric callboy song 🔥🔥🔥
Bro, his voice is...... its absolutely phenomenal! Def one of the best in the world right now! top3 for me.
Mate, when you said “you know what he did to this song”, in a word Poetic mate. Absolutely incredible.
Literally took a high school party banger and turned it into a theatrical masterpiece.
Watching this was the first time I heard it too, genuinely in tears right now, lost my father 3 weeks ago, still really raw and dealing with suicidal ideological thoughts for the last 7 years, this really hit home hard. ty for the reaction, this was mine.

Video could be labeled "Fuse reacts to Last Resort reimagined". Holy shit. Straight outta Salvo
The Mother part hits harder when you remember his mom left them
Said the same thing hits a little harder when you know a bit more about his background.
Oh mate how I love coming back to your content
The song sounds completely different. Thanks for your reaction
The song it's crazy stuff (well basically everything what came out of the Ronnie mouth) it's a shame that this time they don't take it seriously on the edition like the amazing work that they do in "Watch the World Burn".
The raw emotion in his voice is AMAZING. Unbelievable talented artist. He did it once again 🙌🏻
Is this Fuse from Apex Legends doing a Falling Reverse music video reaction?
Like many folks i jammed out to the original Pappa Roach version not fully appreciating the depth of the lyrics.

Thank you for not saying "Inception" in the first few seconds. Seriously.
The Original carrys the Rage, this Version the Sadness that goes Hand in Hand with the Rage....
Last cover similar to this was Hurt by the late Johnny Cash. He made it a different song. He made it his. No disrespect to Trend Reznor. His song was his too. Last resort now has a second owner.
Two words. Well three… immaculate. Breath. Control.
Great Reaction! This song ❤️🔥, Ronnie’s vocals convey so much emotion 😢
Just heard it after about 20 listens but serious later day Daniel Johns vocal vibes going on in this track
if you listen really carfule you can hear areosmith dream on on the piano after it gets quiet and he starts playing again with the violins and everything listen for it you can fallowit for most of the song
Fellas... tell me this isn't the internal song playing as we hold the world up for the 1s we love.
Big love from Finland! You got a new subscriber 🎉❤
Ronnie makes you feel the lyrics.
I listened to watch the world burn on repeat a million times. Please tell me you hear the beat at the end of this song that almost matches the beat at the end of watch the world burn?…
Oh WOW... it just takes on a whole new meaning. The original is angry but this is sad and full of desperation. It's heartbreaking yet beautiful.
We need a REN, Su!cide reaction next...
You can feel every word my goosebumps have goosebumps
Everyone I showed this too asked me of I was ok... that's how different it was

I want to see a Ronnie and Will Ramos duet
I fuckin love you man. You are amazing dude. Love the accent. The stache🤌🏼 you are just an all around likeable guy

Kasey Chambers does something similar to Lose Yourself totally changes the feel of it. hint hint.
I thank he could be one of the best there is
It sounds like a high budget epic OST for an even higher budget movie. It's amazing how it flipped original around.
Es una locura de tema💯que pedazo de voz🔥♥️
He tells a story with his music, the previous song was watch the world burn and in this one hes rebuilding the world he destroyed.
You fell what I felt. I wish his version had come out last year when I had my attempted suicide. I really feel that I would be in a different place than I am now.
Just when I think it can't get any better...I should have learned by now. Damn, he and boys are tremendous!!!!
An awful cover of a good song.
After disappointment i had when Watch the world burn came out, this one is exactly what i craved after hearing The drug in me is reimagined.. It's perfect.
The best reaction channel on the tube, also the best mustasche on the tube. Easy Richo W
igual a Arthur Shelby!
Back when i was younger i rocked the shit outa this but with this version and being older it hit different. Masterpiece 🤌
