The more I listen to this song, the more I notice that Papa Roach’s version feels like the teenage angst / rage, like they will threaten to end things. FIR’s version feels like an adult’s depression, and he’s pleading for help before he ends things.

Jacoby posted a clip of him watching it and I swear he was on the verge of tears. Ronnie was 17ish when this came out and considering his issues with his mom and stuff I can bet this song meant a lot to him.

I grew up with this song but I never realized just how mournful it is until this cover. Because Ronnie enunciates you really feel the impact of the lyrics now and not just the guitar the drums.
Ronnie is the artist who can give you goosebumps singing whatever genre he chooses.
I don't live under a rock so I have heard the Papa Roach song a few times over the decades but I never really listened to all of the lyrics before. Ronnie really showcased how deep and meaningful the Papa Roach lyrics were so cheers to Ronnie for that awesome song and cheers to Papa Roach for some real ass lyrics.

Ronnie’s version really just hits so much harder in such a huge way. Like I get so emotional because it embodies the visceral and desperate pain the lyrics were meant to portray. Those screams in the midst of softly crying for help. God bless Ronnie for this masterpiece

I found this wanker’s channel saying that Watch the World Burn was the worst song ever and that Ronnie is a Shitbag and overdramatises anything reimagined. What stunned me was firstly, there is some f***wit who has a channel devoted to this and also that he has over 100,000 moronic idiot shitbag followers, who mainly sir around and bag Ronnie. I left a comment full of laughing emojis saying next time you sell out a stadium get back to me, and that he obviously he gets no action with any female due to the lack of size of his appendage. I truly was shocked that someone devotes their time to trying to drag someone down. What is wrong mentally with these people? Last Resort was a major turning point in my life that got me through the worst nightmare I’ve ever had to endure, and he NAILED this! I saw both Falling in Reverse and Papa Roach together this past March and they were incredible. It was so great to get a glimpse of their friendship on their socials throughout their Rockzilla tour. Jacoby is such a genuine beautiful human being and seeing him defend Ronnie and stand up for him against haters solidified in my mind that Ronnie absolutely deserves all of the good things that are happening in his life right now.
I’ve met Ronnie a couple times and he’s such a great person love him!!
I have been WAITING for this!!!!! His reimagined stuff is AMAZING!!! The reimagined of this, worked SOOO well with how deep and heavy the lyrics are. This cover is something the world needed. Again I’m not a fan of FIR, but this cover is MAGICAL. I knew this song was a banger and lyrically masterful by Jacoby and Papa Roach. I believe Ronnie just really opened up more eyes, to how truly deep and painful Last Resort is. As a 26 year old I felt and understood the anger in the original in my teens and now as an adult I feel and understand the desperation and sadness in Ronnie's version, growing up with these bands has been a journey that is clearly not going to end soon

I love how everything at the end is 'fixing' itself, at the same time as he's screaming 'nothing's alright'. It's like he's trying to say that even when it feels like everything is broken and overwhelming, healing can happen. We all know how Ronnie loves to use the imagery in his videos to tell a story and hide cryptic messages. He also likes to lead into their next video with the endings. It makes me wonder if the next song we will get from them will be more about a positive state of mental health instead of the sad parts. Either way, this was a true masterpiece. Great reaction!

Honestly I’ve read the comments an I totally think the original shows the anger that comes with depression and this version shows the sadness side of being depressed. I loved the original and when I heard this I burst into tears as it resonated with me so much. I will forever and always be grateful for Ronnie and his beautiful mind and musical genius, his music is the reason I wake up and do what I need to ❤

I discovered this band recently and I am truly blown away by the variety of music within the genre. After growing up with heavy metal bands I can truly appreciate frontmen like Corey Taylor, David Draiman, or in this case Ronnie Radke flipping the script of their everyday and letting everyone hear their true vocal talents. I am beyond blown away with this version of a Papa Roach classic. It's something I never thought was possible. I really hope to dive deeper into Falling in Reverse.
The vocal range is amazing! He projects so much emotion into it that he carries you along for the ride. I love the music, light or heavy there is always something there to relate to.

I just came across this version and video. I just lost a dear friend of mine to mental health and suicide. i never realized how much these lyrics cut so deep into someone’s soul. this was beautifully done.
Teenage me LOVED Papa Roach's version. Cant tell you how many times i turned the CD on as loud as i could and just get lost. It gave my pain and anger an outlet that i didnt know i needed.
And now as an adult i am literally crying each time i hear it. Papa Roach was the extreme anger, and now this is the acceptance of the pain and anger. It hits so different. I have struggled so much with childhood trauma and 2 suicide attempts. Music has been such an outlet. I can finally put my feelings and thoughts into something tangible.

Kyle, your comment about Jacoby being an animal on stage is so true. Papa roach has been one of my top 2 bands ever since I first heard Last resort. I saw p Roach this past year and he is still a beast. Just kills it every time. This reimagined version is absolute fire.
