The greatest part about the drop near the end is the instrumentals to me. Ronnie is so good you don't realize the effect the music is having on you. The fast drum roll makes you mentally feel like you're running. The drums fade into an ascending feeling that makes you feel cornered right before the drop hits and lets you loose on what you were running from. The instrumentals from start to end really drive the emotion to the lyrics Ronnie is planting in your mind. The reason this song is so universally loved, is that it does everything music is meant to do. You feel it. Ever note, lyric, drop, rise...everything.
He was "dangerous" back in the Escape The Fate days. Dude just oozes talent.

He stop the show if he someone in the crowd struggling and make the guards give them water and will not start back until he knows they are good. He says it all the time in his reaction videos they need to drink more water they ate dehydrated, drink water ....
Ronnie has said in one of his reactions to the two rocking grannies befor or after the ladies listened to, I believe the drug in me is you re-imagined, that they felt that Ronnie was depressed, and a torchol sole, and they just wanted to hug him, and make hot coco penat brittle. Ronnie's response was 'I don't write about being happy, we write about our challenges, nobody wants to hear abouteverythingis fine", this is how and why we connect to songs because we can identify with the lyrics. (I hope I didn't butchered the quote).

He is friends with Tom M. They were supposed to tour together but got cancelled because of pandemic or (Nova getting sick). This is a deep and raw song. Love it. I think it's funny you ask about his vocal warm up. People ask this on his twitch a lot. He says he does not do vocal exercises and to that testament the last few shows when he's streamed beforehand, he has played warzone up until he has to basically go on stage, LOL. So vocal warm up? Drinking water and playing warzone while roasting folks in the chat.

My favorite line is “crash my car just to feel again”. Going through depression, I’ve had that thought while driving in freeways. Seeing a pillar coming up and thinking, what if I just crashed into that bridge?

Ronnie’s lyrics hit home for me, when my grandma passed away when I was 9 it affected me greatly. I had really bad depression for a good year or 2 afterwards, my grandma was the world to me and I wanted to be with her so badly. If it wasn’t for my mom and friends noticing and helping me I don’t know if I’d still be here today. I’m 19 now and feeling better than I have

Eric I feel you on the depression. I lost my soulmate thanksgiving 2016 from his doctors not listening about a heart disease . Every day I push to get out of bed to go to work to come home and do it all over day after day . This song hits HARD

You missed something that changes the tone of a lyric. Yoy prolly didn’t miss it, but you didn’t call it out lol. You called out, "Every single fucking day I get closer to the grave." But you missed the next three words. "I am terrified." It changes the feel of the lyric from a kind of 'it is what it is' feel and gives it more impact. Also "I fell asleep at the wheel again, crashed my car just to feel again" is my favorite lyric lol.
I love the songs Ronnie puts out about this subject because most songs about depression or mental illness are these slow ballads like "I have depression and I'm sad all the time" whereas Ronnie, his songs are "I have depression, I'm sad all the time, and that pisses me off." because I can relate to that. I pull myself out of depressive episodes by getting angry at it, not something or someone in particular, but the mere fact that I'm a swirling black hole. Like, how fucking dare you make me feel like this, brain, who gave you the fucking right. Fuck off with that noise.

What Ive learned about Ronnie is that he isnt a singer, he is musician. He is phenomenal in every way. I would personally love to see him do a collaboration with Tom Macdonald. I think the two of them together make very meaningful music

Really didn't know this band until I saw them at Rocklahoma a couple of years ago. Got right up front and this song resonates so much. I try to be a good man but I have shit in my past that would make people think twice about me. i always interpreted this song as people who get famous, they go run their mouths. so, you get popular, then you lie, you deceive (cheat), and you talk bad about other peoples beliefs (religion or other things people don't believe in), you become a popular monster.
