@@Rykerroad”every single fucking day I get closer to the grave, I am terrified.” You asked “who thinks like this?” I think people who have died, or have been close to death probably do. “Crash my car just to feel again.” - the fact that I’ve had this thought while driving down the highway really hits hard. Sometimes we just want to escape.
I get it. 100%. This song helped me try to explain my thoughts to family because I couldn’t find my own words. All time favorite song of mine. Hearing “I just want to feel ok” shook my core
The greatest part about the drop near the end is the instrumentals to me. Ronnie is so good you don't realize the effect the music is having on you. The fast drum roll makes you mentally feel like you're running. The drums fade into an ascending feeling that makes you feel cornered right before the drop hits and lets you loose on what you were running from. The instrumentals from start to end really drive the emotion to the lyrics Ronnie is planting in your mind. The reason this song is so universally loved, is that it does everything music is meant to do. You feel it. Ever note, lyric, drop, rise...everything.
You are still missing one more piece of his talent that you haven't heard yet. Please do the originals and his remakes of The Drug in Me, and I'm not a vampire. You can't pin him down. Ronnie is beyond excellent but let us not forget there is an amazing band making him able to be as amazing as he is. This band as a whole is talented as hell
Oh my, I cant wait for you to check out the rest..the Reimagined & Revamped versions are definitely going to blow you away! Need to do a double reaction when you do those! The original then the new ones, if haven't heard the originals prior. Epic!
The thing about Falling in Reverse is regardless of style, they play off of emotions. They do it incredibly well. "I will pay anybody to make me feel something in this life". Another great reaction
The I break down, falling into love now with falling apart hits sooo deep.... I feel that bar. The last one in the song he belts it out so good too. I love this one. The Drug in Me is Reimagined and I'm Not a Vampire Revamped are Amazing.
As someone who's struggling with, amongst other things, a double depression for decades now, I can so much feel Ronnie! His lyrics and the emotions he puts into his singing are so incredible!

Great reaction. I've dealt with anxiety and depression since my earliest memories. First panic attack I remember I was 4-years-old. Love your reactions. Appreciate I know I"m not alone.
Keeps talking about stopping to listen to amazing lyrics, but then totally sweeps over "crash my car just to feel again". That IS the lyrics. That IS the feeling.
Thanks so much for your content. I found this channel just 2 days ago and I enjoyed so many videos already. You are right, sometimes everyone goes through depression. And I am just in that phase since a week because I am pretty afraid because of a operation I am about to get in one week. You content keep me sane
This song feels like it was written straight from my brain. Pretty much all of them feel that way. I struggle with multiple mental illnesses & I was disabled because of the severity of them. I went through some really dark times where I was living these lyrics. I lied & told doctors I was fine while acting riskier & hurting myself to try to feel something. Even now, I’m struggling & am finding self in these songs. Listening to FiR is helping me verbalize my hurt & anger to myself & that’s allowing me to intervene with my toolbox of coping skills before I become so far off the rails like I would do in the past. I think it’s important to have conversations about mental health & destigmatize it. Music is a universal language & having this band that offers something for every genre, I feel like they’re helping make that much needed shift. Also, Eric, thank you for being honest & vulnerable about your own struggles. It’s important to hear men’s voices on a topic that is stereotypically a issue that only women have or can talk about. Many men are starting to speak up & adding your voice to that conversation is helping steer it to the actual reality.
This reaction is really helping me. I'm struggling with depression terribly. I feel alone isolated and feel like nobody even hears me. I feel like I'm a ghost to the world
My favorite line is “crash my car just to feel again”. Going through depression, I’ve had that thought while driving in freeways. Seeing a pillar coming up and thinking, what if I just crashed into that bridge?
"Crash my car just to feel again" is my favorite line. Because now I know that I'm not alone with this thought (I have days when I don't drive without my dogs to not get tempted). Ronnie does some serious soul stripping in most of his songs, which is even more amazing if you consider that he has more than the average amount of haters and showing your vulnerabilities must be extra hard. Have you checked out the trilogy, yet? Or The Drug In Me Is You/The Drug In Me Is Reimagined? Greetings from Germany

Eric I feel you on the depression. I lost my soulmate thanksgiving 2016 from his doctors not listening about a heart disease . Every day I push to get out of bed to go to work to come home and do it all over day after day . This song hits HARD
I come to reactions often. This comment section makes me smile. Good to see Ronnie having positive impacts on people’s lives like he does for me and my lady. FIR > your favorite band 😊
This is the song that introduced me to FiR... and it changed my life. It was the first time I was able to put in words the mental health crisis I've dealt with my entire life. This song alone has done more than 10 years of therapy. The US Army therapists basically told me if I talked about how much I was hurting they'd take my kids away. So I told them I was fine. Ronnie speaks to me and I've never looked back.
I got here because I love Ronnie and enjoy reaction channels, but you guys are awesome! Like, you deserve more suuubs!! I'm here to stay! Awesome reaction, awesome analysis, great guys!
Just subbed to your channel! Love the FIR content! You guys should definitely do the drug in me is you reimagined and I’m not a vampire revamped, but watch the original songs and then then watch the new versions. It’s so crazy how he took two songs and re created them to show a whole different meaning and to show how creative and good he really is as a vocalist and artist!
Ronnie’s lyrics hit home for me, when my grandma passed away when I was 9 it affected me greatly. I had really bad depression for a good year or 2 afterwards, my grandma was the world to me and I wanted to be with her so badly. If it wasn’t for my mom and friends noticing and helping me I don’t know if I’d still be here today. I’m 19 now and feeling better than I have
I’m with everyone else here, can’t wait to see you react to Reimagined and Revamped. Would love to see it a double feature on both, old and newer versions. Awesome reaction guts! ❤️🔥✌🏼
I'm almost positive this is the song he mentioned that he was going through a moment and went in and recorded this with rare emotion. And that's what makes it magical.
@@Rykerroad exactly 😂 a few times this tour he’s been streaming playing COD Warzone and then said, “ok guys. I have to change to go on stage. See ya later” and then proceeded to put on an amazing show and sound exactly like the studio recording 🤣
@@Rykerroad Maybe it's the water he drinks he is all over that to stay hydrated. He stop the show if he someone in the crowd struggling and make the guards give them water and will not start back until he knows they are good. He says it all the time in his reaction videos they need to drink more water they ate dehydrated, drink water ....
I love this song so much. It says exactly how most of us feel. And sometimes it's hard to express exactly what we are feeling. Most of have been told it's a faze and it will be fine, maby so but are feeling are valid. And half the time we feel like we are traped in a maze, and all we want is to feel ok.
I think it's funny you ask about his vocal warm up. People ask this on his twitch a lot. He says he does not do vocal exercises and to that testament the last few shows when he's streamed beforehand, he has played warzone up until he has to basically go on stage, LOL. So vocal warm up? Drinking water and playing warzone while roasting folks in the chat.
How this song was not #1 on all the charts....not just Rock...shows that the music industry doesn't give a 💩about true talent. Ronnie is better than a million of these trash so-called artists they saturate the radio with daily. #RonnieIsAMusicGod 😎🤘
Amazing song amazing artist. I've watched a few Falling in reverse reactions so far and had to sub definitely enjoy the reactions. Seen some of my fav artist of today on your channel have to go through them #HOG
What Ive learned about Ronnie is that he isnt a singer, he is musician. He is phenomenal in every way. I would personally love to see him do a collaboration with Tom Macdonald. I think the two of them together make very meaningful music
The missed line you guys didn’t say anything about was “crashed my car just to feel again” he literally wanted physical pain just to hurt. Now Ronnie wasn’t that literal personally but the lyrics meant that metaphorically
Really didn't know this band until I saw them at Rocklahoma a couple of years ago. Got right up front and this song resonates so much. I try to be a good man but I have shit in my past that would make people think twice about me. So I really feel like people that like me and respect me only like me for who I am now but they'd hate the monster I was. Btw I'm a 58 year old veteran and still banging my head. 🤘
Ok. This is the first time I've ran across you guys on "The Tubes" here and Popular Monster is an awesome song. That's not why I subscribed to your channel. Your reactions were funny and awesome. That's not why I subscribed to your channel. As soon as I saw you drinking from "Das Boot" I said, "Ok. These guys are cool." That's when I subscribed. Keep crushin' it my dudes!!!
Greetings from Lithuania! I really enjoyed all FIR reactions. Waiting for the drug in me and I'm not a vampire original/ reimagined reactions. Preferably side by side 😍
I love the songs Ronnie puts out about this subject because most songs about depression or mental illness are these slow ballads like "I have depression and I'm sad all the time" whereas Ronnie, his songs are "I have depression, I'm sad all the time, and that pisses me off." because I can relate to that. I pull myself out of depressive episodes by getting angry at it, not something or someone in particular, but the mere fact that I'm a swirling black hole. Like, how fucking dare you make me feel like this, brain, who gave you the fucking right. Fuck off with that noise.
Love this reaction! Hope Ronnie gets to watch this 😊
I'm actually fighting copyright claims on zombiefied ( I even have bleeps... I may get a strike for this is what it said. But i don't care. Careful with the meds. They (the VA) gave me 200mg of Zoloft a day and it made me wanna off myself more. PTSD is a bitch

He says he does not do vocal exercises and to that testament the last few shows when he's streamed beforehand, he has played warzone up until he has to basically go on stage, LOL. So vocal warm up? Drinking water and playing warzone while roasting folks in the chat.
“crash my car just to feel again” is brutal!
How this song was not #1 on all the charts....not just Rock...shows that the music industry doesn't give a 💩about true talent. Ronnie is better than a million of these trash so-called artists they saturate the radio with daily. #RonnieIsAMusicGod 😎🤘
Check out a band called “The Warning” my guy
Amazing song amazing artist. I've watched a few Falling in reverse reactions so far and had to sub definitely enjoy the reactions. Seen some of my fav artist of today on your channel have to go through them #HOG
I found you guys solely because you guys reacted to Falling In Reverse and because of that you guys have become my new favorite reaction channel
this song is a master piece
Stronger apple juice out of a das boot!! LOVE IT!!!! YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!
This song was actually written by his lead guitarist who end up ending his life after this song was released....this song for me hits home 💯 percent
Love your reaction its great. I love this song. Its absolutely raw absolutely genuine and from the heart.xx
Ronnie is so talented its unreal
When Eric said "do you think I'm going to like this" I started shaking my head yes lol
“Crash my car just to feel again”….. I can relate to this 💔 Amazing artist and amazing band
These guys are cool."
That's when I subscribed. Keep crushin' it my dudes!!!
Really appreciate the love and support. Hope to see you more in the comments.... i have all kinds of crazy drinkkg cups lol keep watching.
Greetings from Lithuania! I really enjoyed all FIR reactions. Waiting for the drug in me and I'm not a vampire original/ reimagined reactions. Preferably side by side 😍
The breakdown in this song had feeling some type of way and I couldn't help but jam out 🤘
Love the reaction and the honesty hope they see this video
Popular Monster gets me amped like no song has done in a long time
I love when the body hits the floor on “break”
Ronnie is venting, and I'm here for it.
10:50 "warning, warning :decomposition process initiated. Please, evacuate immediately"
A very good song. Love it!
My favourite line in this is "crash my car just to feel again"
This track is basically the anthem for BPD
Ronnie is a hero who is loved by everyone his music is medicine to us
love the cutout of ronnie in the rooms corner
Right after the line “everyday I get closer to the grave” is a line that says “crash my car just to feel again” and it hurts to listen to
I love the songs Ronnie puts out about this subject because most songs about depression or mental illness are these slow ballads like "I have depression and I'm sad all the time" whereas Ronnie, his songs are "I have depression, I'm sad all the time, and that pisses me off." because I can relate to that. I pull myself out of depressive episodes by getting angry at it, not something or someone in particular, but the mere fact that I'm a swirling black hole. Like, how fucking dare you make me feel like this, brain, who gave you the fucking right. Fuck off with that noise.
