Don't apologize for being emotional. The song did exactly what Ronnie wanted it to. We all still here, fighting and persevering. This was a beautiful reaction. My favorite one for this song. Gained a new sub brother!

It's INSANE that Ronnie took this song to a WHOLE other level. We all jammed to the original without even realizing how deep the lyrics are. Ronnie has SUCH emotion in his voice and brought this song such depth & with the cinematography and video editing it's just a MASTERPIECE. Bringing people to tears in the BEST possible way

When you said you're not a fan of cover songs, i laughed a lil. I am the same way. I knew you would 100% love this. this took on a life of it's own. It's raw, and beautiful, and stripped away all of the blocks i had built around my heart. This is why in your last video i said we call Ren a unicorn then that makes Ronnie Radke is The Saola. The way his voice rips right through my soul is unlike any other. He's a legend! Welcome to the Ronnie Radke experience.
You've got a heart of gold. Love your rawness & the vulnerability you're willing to share with us.

You are basically going to love every song Ronnie has ever remade. They kinda follow this trend, with the classical orchestra sound and insane vocals. Both songs mentioned above sound like completely different songs 10 years later. Matured

that right there is amaZing..the power of reaction channels

  • @grumpygoose9978
    @grumpygoose9978 Месяц назад +34

So, my husband actually found your channel last week through your Ren reactions; he says you are one of his favorite reactors because you GET the meaning of the songs. He is 62 and doesn't like much music, but loves Ren (he always used to get on me for my Tom McDonald, Adam Calhoun, Dax, and Falling in Reverse....lol). BTW....you are FINE and you WILL be better tomorrow!
Ren is a musical unicorn and Ronnie is a musical swiss army knife and I LOVE both of them. What is funny is Ren is a minimalist with his videos; one takes and nothing fancy....just him and the music, and Ronnie is on the other end of the spectrum; his videos look like a high end Hollywood movie, but still he is the music. They are both geniuses in their own right.
This version of this song just HITS so much harder. The way they did this puts emotion behind the lyrics and now that we are older with more life experiences, they just connect differently.
BTW, their is a video of Ronnie playing the song before it was final mastered for Jacoby from Papa Roach. He was like a nervous little kid!

Great reaction man. Authenticity goes a long way. You might not like covers but that's why this is called a reimagining. If you want to see Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach react to this you are in luck! Jacoby actually asked Ronnie to do the cover and he showed it to him so you get to see him react to it and give his opinion. It isn't the normal RUclips reaction, more like a guy showing his friend a new song. Falling in Reverse has changed over the years. Their sound was much different when they first formed. They looked different too. So much in fact that they remade two of their own songs and it's night and day the difference. Those are called "I'm not a Vampire (ReVamped)" and "The Drug in Me is You (ReImagined)". There are quite a bit of songs that you'll probably like and definitely will like the video. Some suggestions are the trilogy of "Losing my Mind", "Losing my Life", "Drugs", then these others which some are tied together with the videos: "Voices in my Head", "Zombified", "Popular Monster", "Ronald" ft. Tech N9ne & Alex Terrible, "Prequel". Enjoy! If you do them, we will enjoy it too!

There’s a cover that falling in reverse had done in 2014. Some people liked it and some didn’t. Which comes with doing covers. Falling in reverse did a cover of Gangster paradise.
Coolio’s daughter was/is a fan of FiR. Coolio actually said that their cover was his favorite. He preformed it with Ronnie before he passed.
Now a little back story on Ronnie. He’s from Las Vegas. Grew up on the streets. His mom abandoned him, so his addict father raised him. So basically Ronnie was raised by the streets. Got arrested in 2006 for bringing brass knuckles to a fight. Where his friend shot and killed an 18 yr old kid. Then again in 2008 for violating his parole from that 2006 incident. He was in a band called Escape the fate where they kicked him out. He then started falling in reverse while in prison.
Also all of Ronnie’s covers (even if he covers on of his own songs) are his own rendition. Completely redo the song but usually keep the main melody

I can relate so much. I listened to the papa roach version as a teen struggling with mental health and self harm. It helped me vent those feelings instead of continuing to hurt myself. I struggled with religion my whole life and I believed in god but didn’t always understand why bad stuff happened if he was there. I also went and lived in a facility for psychiatric patients but it was a rehab so they adjusted medication and had you do a job like farm, horticulture, house cleaning and working the kitchen. Also classes on tools to help you cope. I did attempt suicide a few time and am so happy I wasn’t successful because life is hard but I’m so loved and supported. I recently reached out to a college friend asking about the Bible and it just so happened that she was starting to do a zoom women’s bible study. I have never felt so close to god before also so many women joined that we are continuing as a women’s ministry, and are going to do another study starting in November.

Basically the album he dropped is all about falling apart inside, losing yourself, fighting your demons and with Last resort in the end he rebuilds himself (aka the world he burned is just a metaphor for himself’ and he reverses the damage he did in Watch The World Burn.

I don't tend to read many comments these days, so I dont know what was stated in your Watch The World Burn reaction. I have read plenty and am aware of how some fans come at reactors. Especially Ronnie fans. Let me disclose I adore Ronnie and am a massive fan. I also know some Ronnie/FIR fans get extra defensive because he is both massively misunderstood and he doesnt fold to others' beliefs and is unapologetically himself which rubs some people the wrong way. I find it refreshing.
K, now that that's out of the way...I did not see anything offensive with your reaction. Not one bit. You were respectful to his/their artistry whilst being your authentic self. You asked questions and stated many times that you didnt know. Also, youre allowed to be shocked or uncomfortable with things. I was religious in my youth and all this shiz that I now understand and am very comfortable with wouldve made me shit my pants.
You respect others beliefs and mature, open minded people will easily see that.
Lastly, I am sorry to hear of your struggles. Thank you for opening up and sharing all that. His rendition is gorgeous. I hope you continue to dive into Falling In Reverse. Ronnie is immensely talented and innovative.
Much love to you and your fam. ❤

Jacoby (Papa Roach) asked Ronnie to do this. It took about two years to complete. Jacoby in this interview said he originally hand the infamous guitar riff as a piano. It's a really cool interview on how this reimagoned version came to life.

14:45 I cant say about any body else, but you are hitting it, EXACTLY correct. I cannot "trust" upon what someone else feels or believes. I feel that morals are instilled within, & it is our job to explore life. Experiences thru trials & tribulations, joys & sorrows, are the building blocks of ones true being. There are teachers, & books to guide, however reading a book, or attending a class doesn't give experience. It is how you learn & grow from those experiences that will ultimately complete you, imo.

Ronnie definitely makes the words more meaningful doesn't he.. 😉 Yeh it kinda blew me away first time I saw this 🤯.. I'm a hippy rock chick.. And wasn't really into Rap.. Until I got into Ren 😊 sometimes you just need an artist to open your eyes up to a new world.. Educating yourself in the unknown might seem strange or weird but it's fun.. No harm in learning new stuff hey...and you never know if you don't try you never will enjoy something new 😜.. Beautiful Reaction sure Ronnie will love it.. He sometimes watches reactors to his songs. Also some people need to remember they don't own you it's your channel and you can do what ever tickles ya fancy.. 👀 To a degree 😂 just enjoy yourself and if people don't like it they don't have to watch we all have a choice.. Take care ❤✌️

I’m a Stan, a Renegade but I’m also a fan of the person and music of Falling in Reverse. He is always cinematic. Ronnie has talent, he knows who he is, he’s not uncaring, he’s professional, dedicated and he can deliver an emotional message. Don’t underestimate him as a person or a musician.

Songs are digested differently by different people, and even differently by the same person in different points in their lives. This reaction brought me to subscribe. You said something that is important: I got through it. Ronnie does a great job bringing emotions out in people. This song, and the second part of Prequel make me tear up... They touch the damage in me. Be strong.

There are two reactions by Papa roaches Shaddix to this. He actually made the suggestion to Ronnie, though it took a while for Ronnie to know what he wanted to do. When they are listening to the rough cut, you can hear Ronnie saying that he would love Shaddix to do the second vocals of 'I can't go on this way', and I think that is his voice in the cover. But I haven't ever heard someone else consider it.

Dont feel bad at all. I'm 40 and I remember the original. I'm also an athiest (like Ronnie) but this song is way more healing than the original. We as humans all go through it. That's why, no matter what religion, what beliefs, we have to be there for eachother. We are all human. Humanity would be way better without all the hate. Just be good people.

You should react to their own reimagined songs! "The Drug In Me Is You", "The Drug In Me Is Reimagined", "I'm Not A Vampire", and "I'm Not A Vampire Reimagined". Fun fact about the revamped version, Saraya is the lady in the video and she is his partner in life. Whenever you see a little girl in their videos, that is Ronnie's daughter, Willow.

I get what you mean when you say you don’t like covers… I am sceptical about them as well especially when I love the original. I don’t actually think of this one as a cover though, it is more like a sequel. The original was characterised by high energy and rage, this song took the same words but instead portrayed profound sadness but also peace and hope. Like the calm that follows the storm, there is no rage left to vent. It is an incredibly powerful concept. Like him or loathe him, Ronnie is an incredibly gifted musician and artist. He also has an incredibly talented team behind him with Falling in Reverse. Every band member brings something to the table and you are never sure what kind of curve ball they will throw at you next. It keeps things interesting imo 😂.

Ronnie is a GOAT, he is his own genre, you can't pigeon hole this kind of talent into what anyone else is doing or has done, ever. Loved the reaction, NEVER apologize for emotions, music is meant to move you, be it emotionally, spiritually, or otherwise. Found your channel with this reaction, but went back and started with "Watch the World Burn". I truly hope to see a few more reactor staples on your channel, ignore the haters, they're just going to hate, regardless of what you do.
Hint for reactor staples, I'm part of the Nightwish Army, Arizona Division 🇺🇲🌵. Deep lyrics, outstanding musicians, and songs that can bring joy, pain, sorrow, or any other emotion for that matter...
Ghost Love Score Live at Wacken (pronounced Vahkin) is where most start, hope to see your reactions soon!

One of my theories with watch the world burn and the church scene. Maybe it goes back to EXACTLY what you said In this video. These people are liars and thieves. So he’s searching for God but finding these people who manipulate others. So he uses his rage to remove them

I’m a Christian and I interpret these songs personally with a Christian theme, even though they may mean something else to another person. The drummer in the band has said that some of his influences are Christian drummers, such as Eric Moore. If you like this song, you’ll love Sleep Token

Ronnie reimagines his OWN songs. He's multifaceted in a way that I've never heard from a musician before. He can do it all. Metal, Punk, Rock, Rap, Opera, Country, like I don't know what he can't do. I love all the new stuff and the old. I don't think there's been a song yet from him that I didn't like and that's saying a lot. Like his latest album, I've heard several reactors say that there are no skip songs. It's absolutely true. Every single song on the album is amazing and they are all freaking different.
Also, there is a watch order for the videos even. This video is meant to come after Watch the World burn. He's telling a story with the album and his videos. Welcome to the rabbit hole.
OH! yeah, you want to be really impressed Watch the World Burn LIVE. It's out there, find it. You won't be disappointed.
Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach did react to it. There's a video of Ronnie playing it for him.
He's atheist but there's a story behind that too... his dad is in a Christian biker gang... addict.. not a good parent..
Side note on religion so if you wanna skip it go right ahead.
I'm an atheist as well, so I get it. For me growing up in the church seeing people like your deacons and shit being hypocrites. My own uncle a deacon of my church, my aunt, his wife, doing terrible things to my very ill grandparents then eventually my mom and by extension me when they died. I've said this to my mom, and I'll share it here as well. IF there is a god and a heaven etc. humans do not deserve redemption. If we go by the teachings anyone, evil horrible people, can simply ask for forgiveness and you'll have rapists and murderers waiting for you in heaven. Like what is that? Nah, I don't want that kind of saving. I'm good. I hope there's nothing at the end because what's promised is broken.
I feel your pain though I do. I feel it too. Personally, I can't follow that path. Doesn't work for me. I've got good, wonderful people that get nothing but the worst out of life. No matter what they do or how hard they try. My daughter for one. She's the most kind, loving, understanding person I've ever known. You know what she gets for that? Six eye surgeries from age 3-6, a father who leaves her and never once checks on her again while raising his son, a life of poverty, epilepsy, 5 freaking brain surgeries from age 20-23. Then finally what she got just Thursday 10/3/24, a broken fucking jaw, front tooth knocked out, teeth and jaw wired up, 18 hours in 2 different hospitals. You know what kills me? She's just as happy and sweet and optimistic. Every single second someone like her gets hurt, abused, killed, whatever. I can't believe in a god/gods/greater being that not only allows that but makes it happen according to religion(s).
