In this Video Editor Reacts, I react to Falling In Reverse - Last Resort (Reimagined). This is my first time listening to Falling In Reverse. Which means this is my first time watching them also and may I say... what a MASTERPIECE! This was such a fun reaction to do and I can't wait to do more Falling In Reverse reaction videos. This blew me away.
Not only do I react to Last Resort (Reimagined) but I talk about some of the editing and production techniques used throughout the music video.

Falling in Reverse has two other "Reimagined" masterpieces: "The Drug in Me is Reimagined" and "I'm Not a Vampire - Revamped". These are remakes of original songs released previously by Falling in Reverse and both videos/songs are EPIC. Other great songs/videos by them are "Watch the World Burn", "Zombified", "Popular Monster", "Voices in My Head", etc....
Watch The World Burn will answer your questions about the ending! These two songs play into each other video wise. Watch The World Burn has so many more bits and pieces that will amaze your eyes and ears! ❤

Watch the world burn has an incredible video. Just as all of the songs in the past 3 or 4 years do too. Ronnie never disappoints.
Ronnie is ridiculously talented, there's no genre he can't master. And he's part of the entire creation process, from the instrumental to vocals, visuals, and live performances it's all him/with his direction. Can't wait for more FIR reactions!!!
New subscriber... loved this! Wait til you see what they did for "Watch the Watch the World Burn" & "I'm Not a Vampire (Revamped)". Don't sweat the emotional bits, the fans are here for it; I've seen this dozens of times, and I'm still emotional watching it this time, too. 😃
Would also love to see your take on some of Ren's videos, where he & Sam do these incredible 1-takes. I would definitely recommend starting with 'Hi Ren' for a proper introduction to the Reniverse amazing fanbase (1-take, LIVE performance, using multiple angles, but the entire performance and audio comes from the 4th take). Similarly, 'Money Game, Part 1' is filmed in 1 take (no angle cuts, continuous), I believe it was about the 170th take. Unsure how many takes 'Money Game Part 3' took, but it's another continuous 1-shot, 1-take, save for 2 transitions (I'll leave those for you to discover lol). Tip: if you decide to cover "The Tale of Jenny and Screech", it is a trilogy of 1-takes (Violet's Tale is the last in the trilogy), but for the sake of the story and the message, they should be done together in a single video; Ren combined them into a single video called "The Tale of Jenny and Screech (Full)". 😎

Love your reaction! Ronnie is amazingly talented. There's a video out there of Papa Jacoby reacting this, Ronnie was so nervous, like a little kid lol Can't wait to see more. Watch the World Burn was the "prequel" to this one, please do it next! Even better, make it a double feature and do the live version afterwards💜

Jensen Noen has directed all FIR videos since they did Popular Monster , together back in 2019. U should check out , Im Not A Vampire Revamped ( a remake off Im Not A Vampire from FIRs first album . Jensen Noen won 6 film awards for that video . Loved Ur reaction , looking forward to some more from this band . They are masters off genreblending , catching choruses , awesome breakdowns , and amazing videos . Theres really nothing Ronnies cant do with his voice , Rock , growl , Rap and soft like this . That is a live shot with CGI overlay in the first shot. They filmed it at universal studios from what I have heard.

I love seeing people discover this. I remember listening to papa roach back in high school and hearing that song several times a day. I would of never thought oh hey a couple decades from now there will be this version of it with an awesome video to go along with it. The first time I watched this I was so entranced and emotional and overwhelmingly amazed. Knowing the song from back in the day, then all the physical and mental issues I have had that started when I was 18 and persist to this day, when I experienced this it was one of the very few times I actually smiled or felt something or had a good cry and it reached me at the perfect time. This is one of the few songs that incinerate my soul with understanding and I don't have the words to properly convey it all. Love the reaction, thank you!
The videos by Falling in Reverse are pretty much always epic. Ronnie Radke has been through hell and back, he absolutely deserves every bit of success he and his band have achieved. And he can SING!

At the 18:00 minute mark when you brought up the drums the drums give me goosebumps every single time I hear this song and I think you are the only reactor to bring them up!
He is INCREDIBLE! I’d definitely react to “I’m Not a Vampire Revamped” (but listen to his original first for context). The song is also insanely good. Very movie feeling, very theatrical

If you want to be absolutely blown away by production and vocals, I strongly recommend I'm Not A Vampire Revamped. It's a masterpiece in my opinion.

Great reaction. I've seen some short behind the scenes video and when he's standing on the high building he's definitely standing very high because he had a safety belt on. I don't know the name of the behind the scenes video but maybe you'll find it.

This is the only song I have ever shed a tear to. I used the original back in the day to try to show my friends and family that I needed help. Eventually got the help I needed, but this song is linked to some strong memories and emotions for me and this rendition has elevated it to a space so much higher and impactful than ever before. Truly amazing.
I’ve fallen in reverse (hehe) down a rabbit hole of reactions to this song since it came out, and I gotta say I love voice coach and cinematography discussions of it, as well as just watching the sheer emotional reactions to the music and video. This is actuallt filmed onsite with real buildings and then added drone and greenscreen. Ronnie spares no expense!!

I’m Australian and had never heard of Papa Roach, let alone this song, so I have no emotional attachment to it. After watching this masterpiece, I went back to watch the original, which was definitely a song of its time. The lyrics and meaning are much more obvious in this with Ronnie and the whole thing is beautifully done!
If your do more FIR (don’t cheat yourself, do more FIR) you should do the reimagined songs, but listen to the originals first, so you can truly appreciate the reimagined versions. Watch The World Burn is cinematically wonderful, too. It’s also the part 1 of this video ( he lately has been doing these in groups of 3, so expecting a follow up to this one).

This is the first, tmk, video Ronnie is standalone Producer. Yes I know that doesn't mean he made it. Also 2-3 years ago Papa Roach asked 3 other artists to make a rendition of this song for the anniversary so it's not like many haters say. The word is like: Wow Ronnie making money of other people.
This might have been the best reaction I have seen to this. Amazing honestly. I learned quite a lot from this but your appreciation of the video but also the song itself and the reimagining of it was fantastic. I really hope Ronnie can see your reaction. The ending of, this video, is in stark contrast to their previous video, "Watch the World Burn". It is quite different from this presentation, but really good both visually and audibly.
The ending on this video is a reverse of the ending of Watch The World Burn. Every single video I have watched from this band are insane. The production, the vocals and everything involved are top notch.

Yeah its all 3D, except Ronnie, the piano and the String Quartet... Actually there is a digital Ronnie in couple of spots, bonus points if you can spot that. The green screen / roto work is amazing no doubt, but the lighting helps a lot. The lighting for the whole video is a single point sun lamp, this makes tracking / matching the point source so much easier, but at the same time creates a really distinct (and fitting) vibe. Just an increadible video, and really tasteful fitting for the subject matter. Also Ronnie kills the vocals, and Saun Roonie did an amazing job with the instrumentals!
If you like this, you have to check out falling in reverse, watch the world burn. It’s on a similar part of this video in visual effects quality. And they made a lot of shorts doing behind-the-scenes stuff for that song.
FIR videos are all masterpieces. I am glad I found you through this. Having had a look through your catalogue, can I suggest Ren 'Money Game Part 3' to you? Ronnie and Ren are kind of two sides of the same coin, both masterful music polymaths that cannot be contained in one genre with messages and one of a kind storytelling - each. Both have outstanding cinematographers that they work with. Ren also directs. Where Ronnie makes the most out of a bigger budget, Ren does it on a shoestring. I really appreciate your insight.
Watch the world burn is a great FIR masterpiece, and Ren blew up because of Hi Ren, a 9 minute live recorded one take with the fourth take as audio and cuts of different cameras as video. They did it in someone's basement and only got time four four takes. The video had 21 million views the last time I checked. The end of this video corresponds with the ending of Watch the world burn.
The is a reimagined version of Papa Road - Last Resort. Listen to that, you probably will have heard it before. I’ve seen in the comments someone said it was a remake of one of their old songs… not true.

I love this version of this song so much, and you must have as well to miss the lighting effect left in the video at (1:60 actual video) (15:15 of this video) Huge detail for video editing but the song is so good I don't care. LOL
