@@candi_renee_28 I was joking with my friend today that Ronnie owns this song now. Style it fair and square 😂😂 What's funny is the original is in fir style, essentially. So to be like fuck that we gonna do it this way This is how you do a cover.
There is this saying: "Hear the meaning before you judge the screaming." It's never been just screaming and it's nice to see people starting to get it. Love your reactions Teddy!
I definitely related to him in that aspect. Most of my life I avoided screaming because it just sounded pointless to me. But since listening to Ronnie and other brilliant singers like Sam Carter, I’ve learned to not be so damn judgmental. I was closing myself off to so much incredible music.
A lot of the scream singers have very nice voices besides, Alex Terrible showed his actual singing voice in a few parts of a cover and I loved it, it was quite beautiful. I wish he would do more of it...
That's what kills me, like how some people view rock as mean, hateful, or evil music, but if you listen to or read the lyrics they have deep meaning to them. Meanwhile you got mumble rappers that are idolized and you can't even understand them lol
The song is from Papa Roach. When Papa Roach sings it, it's the like when you are a teenager or young adult, angry, combative, rebellious. When Falling In Reverse sings it, you are all grown up, life and stress is weighing on you, losing your mom or a love one, just a hard life. That's you screaming for help. All the same words, but two different meaning.
This song brings tears to my eyes EVERY time. His version is just so raw and powerful. Yes, the original was by Papa Roach back in the early 2000s reaching out to our angsty teenage selves that we were back then.
I'm an introvert as well with social anxiety. I watch reaction channels cuz it's like hanging with friends and I can leave when I want and revisit without explaining. I'm comfortable this way. But I do applaud and appreciate you doing this on camera. It's not for me, I'm too self critical.
Could never explain to others why I watch reaction videos. Couldn't ever find the words, but you good sir have summed it up perfectly. Thank you so much. 😊

9:06 made me cry, the hurt and passion in his voice is incredible, thank you for bringing Ronnie into my life Teddy!
Am I the only one laughing at "Ronathan"?😂 Love the reaction btw. Stuff like this is a great introduction to screaming because it's not overly harsh, it's just raw emotion.
I tried not to burst out laughing next to my sleeping fiance lmao. I damn near pissed myself when the drink came flying, and then the "RONATHAN" comment pushed me over the edge and I squealed lol
I’m not a fan of screaming personally but Ronnie is the one and only I can tolerate this one really helped. This song was actually my introduction to Falling in reverse
I'm from Brazil and I don't understand how there are people who don't like Ronnie and how he's not known all over the world. I am simply in love with the work of art, yes the production is a work of art, lyrics and interpretation.
I cried when I heard this Reimagined, Ronnie is a genius. There is no doubt about it. His vocals are so incredible and he can pull off any number of music styles. Gosh I can't praise Falling In Reverse enough.
The Original Song was made by Papa Roach and as it's 20th anniversary was up, Jacoby was reaching out to several artists to hear if anyone would be interested in making a new version of it. Ronnie accepted the challenge. There is one video where you can hear Jacoby explain how he sent the request out and another video where you can see Ronnie letting Jacoby listen to the first raw version he had made. It is incredible watching that video as you can see their raw emotions and their deep respect for eachother. Love your reactions and that you get the emotional parts of it. As many have suggested earlier: The original version were raw and angry emotions, this version cuts much deeper and more into the desperation and the feeling of helplessness
It’s not a narcissistic mindset Teddy, that’s classic of people with undiagnosed/ untreated adhd and/ or ocd. Also for people who have experienced betrayal and abandonment trauma. Excellent reaction ☺️
My 13 year old son- had autism and says he feels like this. Granted it’s a bored tone when he says it- but that’s how it comes out with the asd - he is high function- highly smart- but social/impulsive/ are were he lands. He is also a seeker- touch- sound/ which was interesting as a parent when he was young- He liked to spin when we were out and about to “calm” his feelings. he has been a fan of Ronnie “ronathan”1 love that and the shoes! But as a seeker- he doesn’t go overly stimulated with music- it calms him- between the switches/mixes/vocals/styles/bass/instruments - he had me download my CDs of FIR when he was 8. Always playing on his headphones when he needs to ignore the “world” when we are outside in large groups. Even now- as he studies algebra in 7th grade- it’s FIR PLAYING and he is focused on his numbers and formulas. And we bond of the lyrics and meanings for all these years- I am so glad others enjoy it as much as we do!
Absolutely spot on. I constantly feel that way, and recently diagnosed with ADHD. Well said, thanks for sharing. A beautiful version of this song. Thank you Ronnie!
Metal for me has two modes: “Damn… i really feel this (like sorrow, depression or something dramatic and impactful)” Or “FUCK YEAH I FUCKING FEEL THIS!” (Inspirational, motivational, smash head through a brick wall sort of feel)
It’s amazing when people who truly love music find themselves listening to a style of music that they’ve never heard before and find meaning and passion in a totally new genre of music. It makes me feel like the first time I heard a new song and actually listened to what the artist was saying and having to read the lyrics and actually study for a bit to understand what the real meaning of the song was. Welcome to a new era in your life.

Love watching people head bang rock for the first time when they come from rap. He has so many bands that he needs to react to to get the full effect. Breaking benjamin, nothing more, linkin Park, shinedown, godsmack, pop evil. I mean, I could list about 50 more must listen to bands
This is an incredible version of this song. I get this "I'm tired of trying to fix me anymore. I'm all out of options this point, someone tell me its going to be okay" My past suicide attempt, I can deeply resonate with this powerful emotion from this song.
Bro when you said how you yourself are always in your head thinking everyone in the room is judging you or thinking negatively about you makes me glad I'm not alone. I hate going to social places. No matter how much I try not to give a f*** I still slip back in my head. Awesome I'm not alone on this.
Hi Teddy! I recently discovered your reaction videos. The first one was your first ever FIR song. Since that, I've been having such a great time going through your other videos! Lots of respect for the level of thought and emotion you put into your reactions. Great job, and thank you!
Yep, social anxiety and a very common symptom that introverts struggle with. Nothing wrong with it either, tons of people deal with it in one form or another.
Rock music (at least most of the time) has been about hope all along! Sometimes it is hope that things can be better on the other side of rebellion, but it is still hope! And Ronnie does a great job of emoting through his screams (or "harsh vocals" as it is technically called) where not all bands do.
Throw all those old thoughts away and welcome to the metal community! 🖤🖤🖤 we are all about discussing our mental health and finding hope! I love your raw reactions to Ronnie!
Out of the reactors I have seen for this video, I feel like this was one of the most genuine reactions I have seen out of any reactions I watched. Very well spoken, and appreciated the honesty when you realized you have remembered you heard the lyrics before. I enjoyed the video and you gained a sub.
Original song was by Papa Roach, and I'd be surprised if you hadn't heard it at least in passing. Song was absolutely massive. If you're looking for some other bands to react to, Avenged Sevenfold and My Chemical Romance would both be fantastic choices- I'd recommend starting with Hail to the King and Ghost of You respectively, I think you'd really enjoy them. The Ghost of You music video is especially fantastic.
When you said its a release, it made me cry! Well, this song made me cry too though.. it was always an emotional song for me in high school, but the way Ronnie sings it brings up so much emotions!! I had a rough life, went through a lot, and died three different times. Was brought back every time, but just wanted to die.. i cant tell you how much this song means to me and i am so thankful Ronnie recreated it! Thank you for this reaction.. it was amazing!
3:06 by "natural tone" I think you mean his chest voice. When he said "bleeding" the two previous times he went into his "head voice" or falsetto, but the 3rd one had more power behind it and he kept it in his chest/mixing area. (mixing is using that spot right where your 'normal' chest voice and 'falsetto' head voice meet)
you deserve more views and subs bro, your reactions to Ronnie's music are the realist I've seen. and the shoe throwing is a comedic plus. keep up the good work, you earned my sub today!
The original is from a band called Papa Roach from 2000. It’s a harder rock song. I’d absolutely give a listen. The stark contrast between versions is amazing.
11:30 real talk, most people just class it as screaming, but really they just ain't listening. Seeing you open your eyes to it all must be satisfying knowing now you can explore a whole new genre and even reach a whole new audience on your channel - the emotions you feel in your videos are real, got a sub from me!
Yes more Rock reactions! Your my favorite reactor and I love your insight. There are so many amazing rock artists that have such powerful messages and music abilities. And agree Evenessence "My Immortal"
15:34 - What a beautiful story, past the rage of WtWB we get to the sorrow of Last Resort and it's a beautiful sadness in this interpretation. Standing fists clenched in the rain, tears streaming down your smiling face when you realize the storm cannot keep you down and you stop fighting it. "God is in the rain." - Evey Hammond
Dude, I watched a few reactions to this masterpiece, when you felt the emotions and started to tear up, so did I watching you. Means you have a good heart as do I. Good to get intouch with your emotions. Means your human and have a soul. 🙏 I'm now a sub. ❤
I love your perspective of winning at the end. What a great way of looking at it! I’m not the biggest fan of screaming but Ronnie definitely has a unique screaming voice. It just fits into the song naturally & works every time!
This reimagined absolutely made me cry like a baby when it dropped and I just love the way you get into it without having any sort of context of the original. Honestly, I'd like to know what you think of it after you listen to the original, and which one you like better. Ronnie's cleans are gorgeous, and you going "RONATHAN" shit's my favorite 😂 😂
I was waiting for your reaction bro ❤ i love how ronnie made you like a genre that you thought you didnt like. Im pretty sure rock people may habe discovered they like rap with watch the world burn. Thats ronnie's magic.
OMG THE FACT YOU WERE TEARING UP AT THE END IS WHY I LOVE THESE REACTIONS! I hope when Ronnie starts streaming and resuming his reaction vids again after his tour that he watches all of your vids!
This song is still to this day one of my favorite song especially when i was working through my trauma and my own suicidal thoughts. Ronnie's version just hits in different emotional way now as an adult and looking back at what i survived.
It is a remake of a COVER Released: 2000 Album: Ready to Rumble Artist: Papa Roach Genres: Nu metal, Alternative metal, Rap metal Awards: Kerrang! Award for Best Video Nominations: MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist, It is equally as amazing as JOHNNY CASH covering the song HURT by: NINE INCH NAILS
Papa roach wrote the original and it’s miles different.. this version is impeccable… FIR have done incredible but you have so many songs you’ve missed out on… but that’s where we can help 😊
I got off work today at 5 I have been stuck on my porch watching reactions to this song this is where I will be until I can't find anymore LOL so amazing!❤
I've said it before but can't resist repeating how much I love your reactions 💕💖 as they mentioned this is from Papa Roach and its such a meaningful song from my teen years (I was 16 when this came out). Ronnie doing this now, and me listening as an adult (im 38) makes me appreciate it in such a unique way. i enjoy reacting to this along with you! Thank you so much 💖
Man you’re a genius with your words. You are soo good at articulating your thoughts and your insight. It’s crazy how you’re speaking everything that I’m feeling through the whole song. Kudos bro. You got real talent!
The song, as you been told by now is a Papa Roach song. Classic really. This cover was made and shown to Jacoby ( Front singer of Papa Roach, there is a YT video about it ) When Falling in Reverse does these reimagined videos. He often has the same guy writing the music and doing the piano. And creating the entire thing, putting it together. Cant remember the name right now. But Ronnie have talked about it before. He has someone composing the music, and playing the piano and all that.
Really love the reaction this version touch something in your heart its feels good see someone get emotional too with this song Falling in reverse dont stoped to amaze me
I love this reimagined version so much, it's like a sad and beautiful song from a Disney movie sang by Ronnie, absolutely stunning. I wish i could hear this just once live 🙏🖤
I loved seeing you not looking forward to watching a rock back type video to feeling for real the emotion of what rock is really about. Loved your reaction man. Don't every let anyone tell you what music is cool. Rock is all feeling and it's powerful. It really is about hope. Rock on man. Your journey begins now.
Dude. I absolutely love your reactions. So genuine. So real. Doesnt feel forced. You can even see emotion and suprise in your face while watching and listening. Lovin it bud.
This played between the end of their show and their encore and 10 thousand people sang it at the top of their lungs. It felt like the healing of a generation. There have only been a handful of moments like that for me... Drown or Strangers by Bring Me The Horizon, that also felt like that. Thousands of voices healing together. Music, man. Fcking music. It's everything.
❤Teddy my brother I'm the same way. I'm always in my head and worried others are thinking negatively about me. Playing out what I'll say for so long the chance to say anything passesand I just stood their silent. You're not alone
Holy shit man. You’re having the awakening to metal and screams! It’s crazy I get to see someone have it. I also used to think screams were lame and when I awakened to the fact that they can be powerful I had the same line of reasoning. The release from tension or the building of tension. Your reaction channel is one of the very few that the talking parts from you are just as or more interesting than the music and it’s because of your insight. I appreciate it man.
Dude, i love watch react vids on métal songs (i'l french so sorry) and i love the way you take that, you realised the way that if someone Scream its not by hanger, but he somehow live a very difficult thing in he's life and screaming he's pain IS a way to pass away through this and exprim a feeling, metal people are suffer people who don't know how to pass through or how to be understanded . That's why they are mostly lonely people . THANKS to you
It’s papa roach who wrote this song. But he just remade it so beautifully. I will definitely try it in this moment I’ve got several songs like Adrenalize me and the big bad Wolf and whore.
I believe you have found the essence of rock/metal/screamo alot of them are classically trained are so talented it hard to imagine but the passion the feeling of every emotion enhanced and evoked which you can express yourself when listening there so many times ive felt down and listening to my music and singing along gets so much anger frustration and so much more out you can feel like a different person
In this introspection songs, about the release of a feeling, i recall to one of my favorite's song, which is "Bloody Angel" from the group "Avatar" there is really a feeling of release in the screams, you can feel it
This song connected to SO many of us when Papa Roach released it, that's how like an entire generation felt at that moment in time. For some it was just cool music, and that's fine, but for others it made us feel like somebody finally understood us and how we felt. *This is a re-imagining of Last Resort by Papa Roach.
Known and loved Papa Roach version for a long time, but when i heard FIR's version i criedddddd. It has such a wide array of emotions that is unparralelled.
I'm BINGING your metal reactions and subscribed faster than my mouse could handle it. Your genuine, raw-honest reactions are pure awesomesauce. Keep em coming! Metal is such an amazing genre with so many brilliant subgenres and bands that will absolutely blow you away with their creativitiy!!! ❤
I love the way you feel music! You're on the right track, rock music contains all emotions, sometimes conveyed by the singing or screaming, or the sonic musical tones, and the lyrics ( the best ones contain it all in one). Please keep reacting to rock/metal, there's gold to be found there!
This song, especially this version, it was like a spiritual experience for me. I can't even watch other reactions now, this guy is the embodiment of experiencing music
This song has gotten me through so much, after my wife of 15 years last me for someone else, I hit rock bottom and hit it hard. The pure emotion in this song was an amazing release.
Ronathan.... epic. You Teddy, I have to say, this is my second reaction video i watched.... you see it and feel it the way it was meant to be. For not ever seeing his band or knowing his past music you are now a fan of his and i love that. Its genuine, I like you Teddy. I feel like i need... i mean, I have to see more from you.... i am now a fan of yours! Thank you.
Emo and screamo music is catharsis for many people. Even if technique isn't perfect, the emotional attachment to relatable topics is worth so much more. In this case Ronnie nails technique AND emotional attachment.
I swear how you react to falling in reverse, that's how I felt 8 months ago when I heard it for the first time. That's definitely worth a subscription to me. Greetings from Germany
Yes! first time watching your videos. And to me, a lot of the songs i love that have screaming its the passion behind it. The pain. The raw emotion is what i love. there are a lot of bands that scream just to scream. i listened to the original version of this song by Papa Roach for 20+ years and i never got the feelings that i got from this video ever.
Ronnie is an absolute musical genius and has to be one of the most under rated musicians of all time

Incredible reaction! Your comments were so thoughtful and heartfelt ❤️ Keep being genuine 💖
11:30 real talk, most people just class it as screaming, but really they just ain't listening. Seeing you open your eyes to it all must be satisfying knowing now you can explore a whole new genre and even reach a whole new audience on your channel - the emotions you feel in your videos are real, got a sub from me!
You're the first person I've seen to get the reference to watch the world burn! Great reaction!!
Yes more Rock reactions! Your my favorite reactor and I love your insight. There are so many amazing rock artists that have such powerful messages and music abilities. And agree Evenessence "My Immortal"
Ronnie's screaming is special, though many artists are very emotive in their scream/growl ranges.
11:16
A lot of people would feel that way if they actually listened to the music instead of writing it off because "It's just screaming."
You were quick on this one!!! I had to wear my Papa Roach shirt today in honor of this masterpiece 😍
I’m not the biggest fan of screaming but
Ronnie definitely has a unique screaming voice.
You have a new subscriber brother, all the way from Louisiana, USA, love the raw reactions. Keep it up brother!!!
I was waiting for your reaction bro ❤ i love how ronnie made you like a genre that you thought you didnt like. Im pretty sure rock people may habe discovered they like rap with watch the world burn.
Thats ronnie's magic.
"it's gone from screaming to an almost conversational tone"
That is a fucking genius observation, mate 🤘
I absolutely love that ❤️
I have watched every single reaction to this song that I could find and this one is, BY FAR, my favorite!!!!!
It is a remake of a COVER

Papa roach wrote the original and it’s miles different.. this version is impeccable… FIR have done incredible but you have so many songs you’ve missed out on… but that’s where we can help 😊
I got off work today at 5 I have been stuck on my porch watching reactions to this song this is where I will be until I can't find anymore LOL so amazing!❤
Same here!
Thank you so much 💖
Isn't it the most amazing song Teddy! It just rips at your soul.❤
Man you’re a genius with your words. You are soo good at articulating your thoughts and your insight. It’s crazy how you’re speaking everything that I’m feeling through the whole song. Kudos bro. You got real talent!
Quality reaction sir, you have yourself a follow
The song, as you been told by now is a Papa Roach song. Classic really.
This cover was made and shown to Jacoby ( Front singer of Papa Roach, there is a YT video about it )
When Falling in Reverse does these reimagined videos.
It is absolutely disgusting how talented Ronnie Radke is. And I mean that as the highest form of compliment.
Another awesome reaction, thank you!
The No NOO RONATHAN! And the throwing of the bottle ... I had to pause.. I laughed so hard. I fucking love your reactions
In this introspection songs, about the release of a feeling, i recall to one of my favorite's song, which is "Bloody Angel" from the group "Avatar" there is really a feeling of release in the screams, you can feel it
New to the whole reaction 'community' but i really like your shit, you just keep it real and it shows.
Good shit bro
I didn't think I would like a cover of this, but they did so masterfully. If this doesn't move you, you don't have a soul.
The fact that you throw your shoe in approval makes me even happier that I subscribed!
Yes! first time watching your videos. And to me, a lot of the songs i love that have screaming its the passion behind it. The pain. The raw emotion is what i love. there are a lot of bands that scream just to scream. i listened to the original version of this song by Papa Roach for 20+ years and i never got the feelings that i got from this video ever.
