There's definitely a behind the scenes for this video. The vintage cars are real and the bed he was on was being towed. He shut down the Mall in front of Buckingham palace back in February. Just for 1 day I think. There was fan footage of him on location.
They shut down the streets of London in February and we got fan footage right away. Well - and it sort of made the news. We speculated on The Bed Video for *months*, as he didn't release it until the middle of July.

And when people tell you to watch his videos - just watch them! We are not suggesting them just because we are fans of his, we suggest them because they are incredibly clever & well made videos that we know you'll enjoy watching & analyzing. I don't think he has done any boring or predictable videos. There's not many of them left, though. Please check out Lights Up & Watermelon Sugar, too. And this mv also has BTS, you should check that out, if not to react then just for fun. Thanks again!
Really enjoyed the video. Of course, I always enjoy a little Harry. The quality of his videos are as good as his music. He does seem to have fun and lots of creativity during the videos. It's even more fun getting the behind the scenes knowledge of how it's filmed and produced.
Yes they closed down the Mall out front of Buckingham Palace for Harry and those cars to drive down for this video in real life. I believe the Beatles had a similar video with them on beds in the streets of London? The exhibition he finds himself in as well, is very like Tracy Emin's My Bed, which was an art peice she made of her bed when going through depression. This video seems to have logs of symbolism of Harry being seen in public with people, and them him having a personal life away from an audience
Truly genius when the references are discovered too. For a small easy example that only scratches the surface... Blue socks in the regular world and red shocks in the underworld or fake world. Blue and red connection with As It Was video.
Highly recommend looking up Tracey Emin's My Bed performance art to see how highly influenced this video is by it. I feel like all his videos seem super fun but then on closer examination are pretty heartbreaking? The themes often seem to be about the artist as a commodity or public perception vs private life.

Since you're a big Blink-182 fan and Turnsitle was their opener on their latest tour, I'd be interested to see you react to Turnstile's music video film "Turnstile Love Connection" if you haven't watched it before. The style and narrative is something I haven't seen a lot from other artists, especially in the harder rock genres. Brendan Yates (frontman/director) has a really great artistic eye and has been doing some really cool storytelling with Turnstile's music videos and also Paramore's video for "This Is Why."
With the girls, he’s playful. On a date, he’s with a guy eating spaghetti which is Louis’ favorite food. The wedding is two girls. Late night talking is with Louis when they are on tour and have to be apart and in different time zones. Watch Larry Stylinson videos.
