GEEETECH Mizar S Auto-Leveling 3D Printer, Fixed Heat Bed with 10.0" x 10.0" x 10.2" Large Printing Size, Dual Z-axis FDM 3D Printer with Ultra Silent Board for Beginners and Home Users
    Precise Auto leveling
GEEETECH Mizar S is the only printer with the dual-leveling system, which enables one-button ABL automatic bed leveling technology. Equipped with a high-precision leveling sensor and no need for external leveling accessories like BL touch. Mizar S also creatively designed GML manual leveling mode, which is more friendly to beginners, amateurs and specialists.
    Stable Magnetic Platform
The heat bed adopts a fully fixed design, the aluminum plate is fixed on the bracket with 12 screws, you only need to adjust the height of the nozzle when leveling, the bed won't deform due to temp changes, which also solves the problem of unstable printing caused by loose nuts. The platform is a magnetic plate + steel sheet design, which has stronger adhesion and easier to remove the models.
Large Build Volume & Dual Z-axis
GEEETECH Mizar S 3D Printer achieves a bigger print size of 255 x 255 x 260mm / 10.0 x 10.0 x 10.2 inches, giving you enough space for creative design. Double Z Axis screw design can effectively improve the printing quality and make your models more delicate.
【Super Silent Driver】The Mizar S motherboard uses a high-performance 32-bit MCU with faster printing speed. TMC2208 silent driver can effectively reduce the noise of stepper motor than Atmega2560, the printing sound doesn't exceed 50 dBs, which will not disturb your and others work, study and rest.
    Resume Printing Function
This 3d printing machine can detect interruptions of power failure, filament run out or stuck, it will automatically pause and save the printing progress, when you handle the exception, it'll resume the previous printing task, which gives your printing work an extra layer of protection.

Weird is that it does the bed levelling first then the z offset . Wich made the problem and you had to re-set the valus . Usually it's z offset first ( in the middle ) then mapping for the rest of the printing surface . Weird system for sure .

HI, You put the wrong size on the printer (you inputted 255, 255, 265), I think that's why the last print did not print right (the right sizes were, 255, 255, 260.)

If the z-steppers are independent, a belt is not great. If they're using a splitter off a single output, then a belt can be good. But if you have independent z steppers, just level the gantry by pushing the z axis all the way up and letting it tram itself.

Will you be reviewing the cr10 smart pro? I know the smart wasn't that great but I'd like to see if there was any improvement or if they just threw on a direct drive system on a smart.

I also have a question, so I have an ender 3 s1, and I’m trying to print a collapsible sword, and it’s fusing together on the seem line, what should I do?

the stepper drivers should definitely have heat siinks on as over time the will overheat and burn out

    • @paulthetexan
      @paulthetexan 2 года назад

If you have good cooling, heat sinks aren't really necessary. If you have bad cooling, heat sinks won't work because they won't be able to offload the heat, and they can actually make things far worse by insulating the chips. My takeaway from this is that good cooling is more important than heat sinks.

Just got this printer after all the good reviews, but I noticed something on my y axis. The wheels spin easily towards the middle of the y axis, and when it gets closer to either ends, it's tighter and harder to spin the wheels and bed doesn't move as easily, does this happen to you or anyone else?
I used some digital calipers and found that the middle is a like .2mm less than the ends.
