Great review! The Pros hands down!! The sound quality, clarity and bass too and it's not to much bass, it's just right. What is the reason out of all the apple products these don't have battery health? Even the watch has it. You think they will upgrade to aipods pro 3 much sooner than in another 3 years. again? Bro you are brave riding your bike with these in your ear on noise cancellation omg. You gotta be aware and hear of all your surroundings on a bike front, back, left, right. That is one thing I will not have the courage do being a biker and having crashed and almost hit if I had these on I'd be serioulsly injured. I get worried seeing people biking, skatine, scootering, etc. with these in their ears, no bueno stay safe 😳

I’ve gone from the gen 1 pros to the gen 2 pros and there was 2 work locations where I would ‘lose’ connection between my airpods and my phone (audio cuts out but they still are connected) unless I held my phone next to the AirPod.
I’ve noticed the gen 2s no longer have this issue in those locations. It’s a minor thing but it makes me happy and the purchase price vs resale price difference worthwhile.
Got the Airpods 3 and I couldn't be any happier. Great little things!
As an audio engineer, I don’t know how you can say these two products are similar in sound quality and frequency response. Not to mention that the seal the AirPods Pro create further improves the experience, and the noise cancellation is the cherry on top, even in my studio where I just have the noise of an air filter and computer fans, it makes a huge difference vs the regular AirPods.
I agree, sound quality is better on the Pros and def my preferred choice, but to your average consumer the difference is minimal. Almost everyone I’ve asked IRL thinks that the 3’s sound the same as the Pros when ANC is off 🤷🏻♂️
@@BrandonButch I would also like to disagree on this as well. The average consumer would notice a difference and the difference is not at all minimal to them. I gave these to my colleagues at work who is not tech savvy at all and they loved how silent they made everything. It made them hear the music better.

@@Specias there’s the avg consumer and then there’s the avg consumer that cares, some people will say they don’t care having 120hz compared to 60hz, so I guess that’s the type of consumer Brandon is talking about
I bought the 1st gen AirPods on launch and then bought the pros when they came out but they hurt my ears after about 30-45 minutes and they constantly fell out if I moved around too much. Gave those to my husband and went back to my originals. The 3s came out, bought them and returned them after two days. They hurt my ears too. I wasn’t planning on buying the pro2s but after seeing reviews saying they fit much better for smaller ears, the volume control on the stem, and the better bass I preordered them and thought well I’ll just return them if they don’t work out. But to my surprise they feel so much better with the xs tips. They switch between my devices so seamlessly and they instantly connect where as my original AirPods had trouble in that dept. I’ve been using them almost every single day since I got them. Definitely worth the try if you couldn’t wear the pro v1s

Same. In my country returns for such devices are not an option so I have a few pairs of jabras that deliver good bass and amazing anc but hurt my ears, so I could only use them for metro trips around the city as they’re short. I bought these and I’m so surprised. They don’t fall off my ears and feel so good I don’t take them off at all. I use transparency mode for conversations and feels great!

The sound quality and noise cancelling still kind of blow my mind when using the AirPods Pro 2. Night and day difference with the Gen 1s. 👌
This is what I keep noticing the transparency mode works really well when you want to hear and the noise cancellation works extremely well when you want to not hear ANYTHING. I believe when they say the 2x noise cancellation but I am on iOS 15 with the Airpods 2 so I don’t get all the features

@@marshallpieri3737 I am on iOS 15.1.1 and honestly they work fine but you don’t get all the features that are available they behave like the 1st gen Pro’s. They are worth getting though even on iOS 15 unless you want those extra features like the ear scan

Are you using them without a cover? Just got the pro2 and wondering if it’s necessary as most covers don’t support mag safe charging and make them quite bulky😅
The Lanyard Loop is actually an antenna that "also" serves the purpose of being able to attach it. But the main functionality is transmitting and receiving data.
Sound quality and fit aside, if i removed the silicone tips from the Pros, would I have the same comfort of the AirPods 3?
How much do the Pros leak audio compared to the normal ones? I have the gen 3’s and i can’t listen to anything over half the volume without people hearing the music I have on in a quiet environment lol

If NC isn’t that important to you go the $$lesser route. Trust me the sound quality is NOT better. I might add they do connect magnificently.

I just got the airpods pro gen 2 and i love them. I love how I can switch between my devices almost instantly without having to press anything to press. I had tried the original air pods pro and returned them. Didnt understand the hype. The transparency mode was awesome, but as you said in the video they lacked bass. I got a pair of anker soundcore life p3 and they sounded so much better to me and had way more bass which i love. Highly recommend anker if people are on a budget they are $80. I also have over the ear q30 from anker which are comfy and battery is amazing. The new airpods pro with the case that make noise if tracked is great, they charge fast, and i love the wireless charging. The volume control is awesome because it adjusts perfectly and you wont accidentally adjust it and hurt your ears. The anker ear buds would move slightly and if i adjusted by pushing them in it would either change from noise cancelling, pause, or anything else it was set to. The apple ones are all stem comtrolled. And as I mentioned about gen 1 the transparency mode is amazing on here too, and like you I love being apple to leave in if i went to a store. I even tried driving with them listening to podcast and could hear my surroundings as if I was listening to the radio. Overall great product

Pro's didn't fit me well intially, would come loose when i talked but swapping the tips for some memory foam tips has made them stick and hasn't made the ANC and general audio quality so much better
Which would you recommend for in the gym?
i have airpods 3 and since my ear produces a lot of wax, a lot of it has gotten stuck in the mesh, airpods pro 2 doesn’t have that problem since all that needs to be cleaned is the silicon bit..

One major upgrade I've noticed is how much faster the Gen 2's connect to all of my devices, as well as the case and buds battery percentages showing up without opening the case. I assume this is due to bluetooth 5.3.
no before the airpods did not have Bluetooth in the case so u would not be able to see the case % since it disconects from the phone. Now with the U1 chip, its able to stay connected and show the battery.

How do the airpods 3 compare with the wired earpods? I know that they are much cheaper but they sound very nice to me, I don't know if it's worth it for me to buy the airpods 3 considering that I don't have to deal with the hassle of charging them and I don't mind the cable

I’ve had the Pro 2 for a few days and so far I think they’re awesome. Prior to this I had Galaxy Buds +. The sound of the AirPods is sooo much better than what I was used to

I waited for the AirPods Pro but after a month with them, I low key regret not getting the AirPods 3. The noise canceling and the features the Pros offer are nice, don’t get me wrong, but for some* reason I still go to my original AirPods from time to time for the fit and feel. 😅🤷🏽♂️
I’m in that same situation right now, except I’ve had my pro gen 2s for a week. I got the original AirPods gen2 back in 2019 and honestly I like their fit as well as their bass so much better than the pro gen 2s, I still could return them but I’ll see!
Hopefully they add the Find My features and touch control to the AirPods 4 or something. Pros still won’t fit me I don’t think.
I’m going with the pros for the ability to locate them, the better wifi, the waterproof rating and the quicker connectivity to other devices. Those 4 things alone are worth the $70 extra to me. I could care less about background noise cancellation.

I upgraded from the AirPods Pro generation 1, and I must say, after getting used to marginal upgrades from Apple, the AirPods Pro 2 are much, much better. I use an M1 iPad Pro for business travel personal tech, but I also take it down the coffee shop or the pub. In the pub, my habitual seat is right under a loudspeaker used for music. When I hit the noise cancellation, the music softens considerably to about the level the old AirPods could reach with media playing. But when I play media, the music from the speaker disappears, and the sound is better. The new Transparency mode is better (not that the old one was bad), and battery life is considerably improved, too, in both the case and the AirPods. The cherry on the cake for me is the improved FindMy accuracy and the speaker on the AirPods case.
I went from original 2016 airpods to the new airpods pro and its sooooo much better lol. Although I find that they do slip out of my ears easier regardless of the size ear tips.
I got my AirPods Pro 2 on release day. Loving them so far but I have noticed that there is audio drift and de-sync when using ANC. The sound tends to eventually drift to the left AirPod. Has anyone else experienced these issues? Not sure if it's a hardware issue or software... I hope it's software related.

They need a massive update asap so many bugs that are stopping people from fully testing them.
The hardware isn’t the limitation of the earphones its the software that is capable of adapting to the new chips and so far i haven’t really seen that.

one thing I always see overlooked in these type of vids is the fact that airpods pro are much easier to clean compaired to the others, with the pros, the tips protect the speaker from gunk. while with the others, the speaker is exposed and has to be cleaned more often.. not to mention you can accidently puncture the speaker easily while cleaning..

I was in Singapore for a week, and purchased an airpods 3, after a 3 days, i returned it and got an Airpods pro 2 instead. good thing I was able to do so, and glad Apple gives customers a time frame to return purchases. this is the video I was looking for when I was contemplating on returning the 3 and getting the pro.

lost my airpod 3’s and decided to get the pro 2’s. i love the noise cancellation, transparency mode, sound quality/customization, volume, etc. the noice cancellation is definitely not as good as over-ear headphones, but they are still good enough for most situations. at the gym i find myself using the noise cancellation and not playing anything and it’s actually very calming. the airpod 3’s were good for what they were, and were honestly the most comfortable earphones i’ve ever worn. they feel loose at first, but i’ve never had them fall out of my ears, even while playing basketball
I want to get the AirPod 3 for running I was concerned it would fall off my ears but since you can play basketball with yours then it means I won’t have it falling off when running. I will get that

Hi Brandon, I updated my iPhone 13 Pro to iOS 16 and now I'm on iOS 16.0.3 and the battery is a little worse than it should be. Do you think in the future Apple will release an update that will fix the battery in iOS 16 on other devices? (not only for the iPhone 14 series)

Love the pros, wish they had one more tip size. Between Small and Large. Also the black thing on the top of the Pro 2's hurt my ear idk why they moved that thing to the top. But it hurts your ears after awhile. The Gen 3's are soo much more comfortable just wish they had the seal of the Pro 2's with them.

I have 2 pairs of AirPods. When I wear my AirPods Pro with the tips for a long time, my ears get irritated and I also got an ear infection once from them. I usually go back to my AirPods gen 1 which I bought about 6 months ago every once in awhile. I bought those AirPods new from Amazon for $99. I enjoy both AirPods. I’m not planning on buying AirPods Pro gen 2 because I don’t feel like it’s worth spending another $240 for similar AirPods. I am aware of the cool new features, I won’t deny it. But for me I prefer to save the money.
For some reason the 3rd are just not comfortable to me but the first gen AirPods original are a good fit for me.

Picked up the AirPods 3 for mostly listening to Podcasts and I’ll never use NC, since I need to hear my surroundings based on my job. Definitely comfortable as well. Also once trying the AirPods 3 and trying the AirPods Pro 2, you’ll start to like the feel of the no silicone tip and the AirPods 3 will feel much better.
actually the opposite for me! it started getting weird when i tried the airpods 3 upon using the pro 2s for quite a while.
i can say that the silicone tip and nc really is a big factor for improvement!
For last some weeks or months i had problem. My Airpods 3 show me i must charge left or right earbud or case. And on of the earbud didn't worked!

The experience on it is so much worse than the gen 1... the connection drops here and there, the left and the right bud is not synchronised when changing a song, I always have to reconnect them in order to have a normal listening experience. And the worse part is that, the iPad is still in iPadOS 15, and the AirPods Pro gen 2 do no have a icon when l'm using the iPad and however the connection is way much better than that on IOS 16. When will they release a software update to fix the connectivity issue, it has been killing me... otherwise this is a good upgrade from the gen 1

Personally I prefer the fit of the pros because my ears are very weird lol. I went to the Apple Store to try on the AirPods 3 and they instantly fell out and I wanted noise cancelling so I decided to get AirPods Pro 2 and they're the best earbuds I've ever owned.
Noise cancellation is a must. Worth the extra $ in my opinion.

I traded in my pros I got for my birthday for 3rd gen because my fam brought me pros because they were so tired of seeing me with my wired headphones that came with my iPhone years ago and I hate in-ear headphones so I went with the 3rd gen despite its lack of features, only one of them slips out my ear from time to time but like them.
Have had both of these but I have found my new AirPods Pro refuse to work well with my Samsung TV while the previous AirPods worked fine. Talking with Apple they blame it on Samsung. I don’t quite get that since the old AirPods worked fine. Now I can’t use them until I get a different TV.
Air pods 3 is by far the best. Better fit and I don’t like the silicone tips in the pros.

I bought Airpod Pro 2 last week and my this is first time ever i got Airpods i have a question about battery life .. if its 100% charged then within 1 hours it drains to 88-86% about 12-14% battrey drain / hr without ANC or Transperancy mode ! Is this normal or are my Airpods defective.. please guide
I would think that is somewhat normal as it has 6 hours of listening time. Can you also try and have ANC on and see how much the battery drops with it on.

i bought the pros and then after a week i threw them in my drawer and went and got a pair of 3rd gen airpods + wired earpods for when i run outta charge in the gym. yeah i loose out on NC and TM, but the pros are so unbelieveable uncomfortable after 2hrs of use that i literally wanna tear my ears off.
I never had the AirPods Pro 2 but I had the 3rd gen AirPods and to me they are really good for the price

Oh jeezz… I returned the a3 cause the fit and haptic press was awful compared to the classic a2… now ordered apro2 in hopes the sx silicon tip will fit better than the airpod3 did…
I recently got the AirPods Pro second generation, and I absolutely love them. As a matter of fact, my original AirPods Pro were having some issues, I sent it in to my local Apple Store and they replaced it with the second generation model absolutely free of charge. That’s a pro tip for any of you who are looking to upgrade from your original AirPods Pro to the newest ones. if they are not functioning as it should, maybe take it into your local Apple store and there’s a chance you might get the second generation for free. However, with that being said, I know you mentioned that you were going to do a video comparing the original AirPods Pro to the second generation AirPods Pro. Are you still going to get to it? keep up the great work and I love all your videos! Heck, we are almost at 1, million subs! Keep up the great work!!!

Maybe it’s just me but I CANNOT get the volume turned up loud enough on my AirPods 3rd gen when watching a RUclips video or talking on the phone. I’m not sure if I have a setting that is causing this or if it’s just the AirPods. I’m thinking about getting the pro 2nd gen just to see if that specific thing is better. They were fine at first but after a few months I just simply cannot hear on the 3rd gen.

Thanks for the great video. I recently moved from iPhone to a galaxy s22 and tried both buds pro and buds 2 pro and both caused contact dermatitis for me and I couldn't bare using them for 1 week. No one is talking about the abnormal feeling and irritation that silicone earpads are causing and how they feel uncomfortable ( usually it's not normal to close the normal ear canal ). The second thing I'm still not a huge fan of ANC or transparency modes cause I still think they are not safe and I would still want to hear the normal things around without Transparency mode which would drain the battery.
For me I just want an earphone that wouldn't cause any pressure and with a decent amount of quality I was thinking of the 3ed generation and LG T90 as they don't use silicone. Now after seeing ur video i'm convinced with the 3ed gen .
Again: if u have some sort of sensitive skin i wouldn't recommend buying any silicone earphones that cause pressure and block ur ear.
I wish people make a video on the top non-silicone earphones
You can purchase memory foam ear tips online for most earphones.

How do you find your pro2? Did you get them? Every earshape is totally different. I love the fit of the classic airpod2, but the mic and battery always dies way too soon, the 3 is too big for me, so tmrw gonna get and test out the pro2 with sx tips for running.
@@AshtrayHDlate been using them non stop for a year for running, no issues! Even in super hot/cold conditions they stay in 👍
I just upgraded to the Pro 2nd gen from the AirPods 3 and the Pros are definitely more comfortable to me than the 3’s. When I first got the 3’s they literally hurt my ears and stretched out my ears to where the AirPods would just slip out of my ears. The Pros are way more comfortable now and don’t slip out or shift in my ears
Great review! Airpods 3 might not be comfortable for everyone either. I have had gen 1 pros and now gen 2 pros and they feel very comfortable while the airpods 3 feel horrible in my ears. So the airpods 3 are not guaranteed comfortable.
