Pennywise is also the physical representation of fear. They beat penny wise by not being afraid. Too many faces in the crowd which he mentions in the search. I look in the crowd and see so many faces.
I interpreted it as killing clowns in his life and getting rid of people people that don't take him seriously.

Most likely meant the physical representation of fear, since it's a theme in his songs and ties into Intro 3 as well.

“Let you down” is NFs most popular song with “Lie” at second. You don’t have to react to them but if you want to listen to them I encourage it. “Remember This” is his realest song. “No Name” is my favorite tho

I'm not sure if this is accurate, but in my opinion, this song is a whole conversation between himself and Pride. I broke down the lyrics in a way that I think conveys this a little more clearly and adds some depth to the song...whether that was his intent on this song or not, i'm not sure but i think it's interesting:

I like this perspective, but I don’t think pride would not be able to decide if he should stick his knife in Pennywise, because Nathan’s pride would brag that he already buried his fear in Intro III. So his pride would go for it no questions asked

Its also a jab at the fact that its nates pride rapping not nf. Its a double meaning line which is amazing

Kinda like Twenty one Pilots, with Cut My Lip and Chlorine, where they say being a musician makes their mental illness worse, but they use music to try and release their inner demons. Double edged sword.

Something you missed from two other songs of his.. "I Just Wanna Know" has a scene that you didn't realize in "Outro" and then some lyrics from "If You Want Love" which is "If you want love, you gon' have to go through the pain." and he mentions in "Intro III" saying "What's the point of having love with no pain?". Just thought I'd mention it!

Hey Ernest, I know you’re thinking you’ve got a while until the album but do you remember the receipt from the When I Grow Up video? Yeah, it says Time at the top, which is also the title of one of his songs in The Search. It also says midnight.
So, just know he’ll be dropping Time on July 12 at midnight EST!
“I just made a couple mill still not impressed” is a direct contrast to When I Grow Up where he says “Just wanna make a couple mill”

"Too many faces", he said that at the beginning of the song as well and not just at the end. It refers to his crowd anxiety like he said in "The Search" "I get scared when I walk on the stage and see so many faces"
Penny-wise isn't just any clown. It's his fear, he said he can't decide if he should kill penny-wise, and knowing NF, we've seen how he's been dealing with this all long. Specially in his song "Intro 3”.
The machete, I personally like to think it's from his song "Real" which he used to cut off the ladder on other rappers.

Mr.Ernest, you are one of the best Rap music reactors and I really enjoyed the fact that you put so much effort into the breakdowns of the lyrics when you pause the song.
I don’t mind the pausing at all because I know that you’re going to say something intelligent and riveting.
Other RUclips reactors just turn on their cameras and make different facial expressions, and when the song finishes they only say words like ‘wow, so cool, fire, e.t.c’ See that’s not a reaction it just pure BS.

As to why Nate asks himself "Why?" every other sentence, from my experience, I'd say he's showing us he's going through therapy. As a part of CBT (that's supposed to work well with both depression and anxiety), the client says a general thing, then uses the question "Why?" repeatedly in order to get to the core of the issue. Hope that helps in your understanding, Ernest.

BTW the back round in the video says "Don't mess with Texas". I'm not sure what the connection/meaning to Texas is. Nate is from Gladwin Michigan but maybe someone will see this comment and answer it if they know what it is.

The whole song is great, but the second verse he talks about emotions as if they are people in his life. This song always makes me think in the hard times and it motivates me!!
