The mg300 is great. Wish you could adjust the wah eq though. It gets a bit thin. Also, wish you could lock out the Factory patches during a performance. Maybe a separate button press to change banks? Creates a danger of a miss press that gets you into the Factory bank.
I can see you spent a lot of time getting to know the NUX MG300 and making it much more accessible to the new user. Nice job! Would you still recommend it in 2022?
You can change which mod the Wah manipulates on the 300MG unit, but I can't see how to do that in the Quicktone Software, any tips? Looked online and contacted another seller, and nobody can tell me there is a warranty.
Good thorough video, but like paul mckeown asked, I would love to hear your thoughts on a comparison to the Ampero. I would imagine that this would a much fairer comparison up against the Ampero One rather than the 100. Just remember to be kind though because I bought the Ampero 100 because of your review.
Which patches am I looking at in the window of the 300 mg unit's window? Can I see both the Factory & User patches in that window? If so, how do I know which patches (User or Factory) that I'm looking at. Can you change the name of both Factory/User patches? After changing patches and names, can you reset them back to original somehow? How can I tell which version of firmware and Quicktone I am using?
Hi Paul. Both units sound great IMO. I will say that I think the clean sounds are better on the NUX but the Ampero is better built and offers more flexibility for both the in and outs and signal chain. I think you would be happy with either one depending on your needs.
Hi Tony. Just wondering - can I use this device fully and completely without going to the computer app. Need to be able to use it in a separate room from where my computer is. Thanks!
Excellent demo Sir, Sounds fantastic, thank you. I'm hoping that you or someone here can help me out...... I've been fiddling around with guitars (bedroom jamming) for a long time on and off and now really wanting to start creating music. I have no idea where to start really. Rather tight budget, I have a great non Mac PC (win10), Vox electric and vox ac10 amp and I've been looking at either the nux mg300, Flamma fx100 or Valeton gp100. Can I start recording with that alone? or do i need some sort of interface in between? if so any suggestions? Also is one better than the other if say you just want to run it into a vox ac10 to jam with?
Good morning Sir, may i ask a couple of questions? 1) What is the number of the metal/lead/crunch type of AMPS simulated by this unit? I play Japanese Anime music so i really need this information 2) What is the number of FACTORY PRESETS that lean towards overdriven/metal/lead tones? Thanks a lot in advance, good Sir. Ps: Subscribed
I would like to know your opinion on which one to choose from, nux mg300, Flamma fx100 or Valeton gp100? I hear the nux mg300 have less cab but the tone and software interface is far superior. Which one do you recommend overall. Thank you
Great review and for it's price a good multi-effects unit. From other reviews i have seen , it is not as good as the Ampero in terms of build qaulity and effects. You get what you pay for, i prefer to save up and buy a well made item, that will last. The MG-300 is fine for home use, but the plastic case and in europe they don't even include a power supply puts me off buying one.
Allan, I think it sounds very good however it may not has as many options as the Ampero. I think NUX has another unit that may offer more in terms of options and outputs etc. I will see if I can get my hands on it for a review as well. This one my be closer to the build quality of the Ampero... Stay tuned...
@@addictedtogear Thanks for your reply Tony, i think a higher grade case and better spec would attract buyers like me that want a robust well made unit.
@@upbeatbeacon I would appear that Thomann and other sellers in europe/UK may have got their listings wrong. Instruments4music state that the adaptor is included, best option is to buy from them.
lot of rough edges on this great sounding product . nux needs to firmare update , release more patches and models . fix the software . its clunky , the notification sound is so loud it blew a speaker here . i could go on but it is a great sounding device . its just really crippled and not user friendly at all . compared to something like a zoom g3 .
this video is exactly what i was looking for, an in depth demo of the interface, thank you
Glad it was helpful!
really great tutorial. will buy that from the link you gave at amazon.
Just got one today, my phone charger cable works great on it. Your demo on the clean sounds is awesome.
Awesome! Thank you!
Very good and informative overview, i'm almost ready to part with ££ for it
nice demo! Think I'll buy one of these
Excellent reviews... So I could consider wanna do by buying in the near future... I expecting for the detail review again...
Wow, I am impressed. Will take a look at the web site. Thanks Tony.
I'm gonna buy one of these for rehearsals and back up to my GE300 . Amazing tones and so easy dial it in ! Thanks !
Rock on!
Super beau travail !!! Bravo et merci +++
Great demo Tony please keep them coming!
Can you come up with crazy feedback tutorial??
Love that unit
Let me see what I can do... Cheers!
Good demo, thanks for your work! Wouldn't mind if you demo the tuner first in the next demo ;)
lol
i got one last year and just now braking it out lol its alot of fun guys
This sounds amazing
I love it and I'm searching for it but in argentina gets too expensive from ebay
I gotta learn to spend less money on guitars and more on these tone gadgets.
Nice review
Brilliant Demo!
Thank you!
Nice tones..great demo Tony
Thanks for listening
Thank you for presentation. Great tones. Can we select two modulations in effects chain for example chorus with tremolo?
Awesome demo Tony 👍. Finally got this gear. Quite difficult to decide as a lot of affordable gears in market. Wish you all the best & stay safe.

I've been trying to find the app for the pedal but I don't know where to look, can you maybe give some advice please 🙏
Great video i’m setting up a looping rig and was wondering about the octave effect in the acoustic guitar models. Thank you
What do you want to know?
I wish you could show us how to plug the damn thing in
Very affordable but considering mg30 also but not sure what are the main difference in features

Bruce, this is a great idea. I will see what I can do. It would be very interesting indeed. Stay tuned...
Hey any suggestions to setup a heavy metal sound for my 7 strings guitar?

Hey Tony, great vid again. hows this one compared to the ampero and mooer Ge 's. if you had to buy one only, which would it be. Cheers.

@@addictedtogear Great, thanks!
How do i connect to my laptop, can i use headphones or does in need to connect directly to the amp? do i need an app?
I wonder what the name such as JL Slash, JL Santana mean... What does that mean?
Is that extra noise the unit or is that the acoustic sound of the guitar strings?
Mostly the guitar

Get the MG300 and a Focusrite Scarlet and you will be fine.
The MG-300 acts an interface on its own so you can record straight away with using USB
@@paulneedham9885 But can it be plugged into a focusrite?
@@diegofiorillo6412 Yes it can. Its line level out so just use line level in.

Download the mg-300 manual in their website you'll see the amp lists
Didn't thinked to this XD ^_^' Thanks
What and which software should I download?
Super
How to go to the software?
So you can only have a single effect from each section, right? One overdrive/distortion, one EQ, one modulation effect...?
Yes
@@addictedtogear Thank you. That's a shame, in a way.

Right now I would recommend the Ampero II stomp
Obligatory Voodoo Child to demonstrate the wah.
It's nice to see you can use a computer to tweak all the settings.
Good demo, but your desk mic level is too high while you're playing. Dry guitar sound is annonying. Noise gate will do the job. Cheers.
Noted!
Can you set the delay time by changing the BPM ?
You have the tap tempo button for that.

can it be used with Bias FX or any other AMP sims?
