I ended up getting one of these after finding my local store doesnt do returns (only exchanges). I didnt need more guitars and I had bo clue what pedals to buy... So I got this. Thanks for making an awesome and informative video and demo.
After moving into a flat I can't use my 'real amps' I bought this awesome pedal and I'm loving it! I use a simple setup with my laptop running the pedal through my studio speakers and it's actually blown me away. Not difficult to get the sound your looking for and the best part is it's easy to use! Fantastic demo of this cracking pedal.
I’ve looking to by a light inexpensive unit to travel with. You’re demo of this showed me what I needed. It was actually the best demo review I’ve seen, very clearly presented and your playing really helped. Thankyou, I made a coffee donation. :-)
Jonathan, every device you play through sounds fantastic. Your recommendation sold me on the POD Go, which is 'just right' for a bedroom player looking for ease of use and great sounds. Now, you've given me GAS for this NUX unit!

Hi Jon, thank you very much for this review. Is there any functionality where you can reprogram what the footswitches do? This is a no-brainer purchase if there was a tap tempo foot switch instead of finger switch :)
It may not be a Helix or a Kemper (but it's about a buck fifty!) and still offers good tone and features for the price. I'll buy one just to keep on the coffee table with some headphones for some late night practicing after the wife and dog are in bed. Thanks for going through the effects, that was helpful. Due to the price, I don't think there's anything to complain about here. Great playing, as always.
I just got mine today! Will have to try it out tomorrow though, but I can't wait. Great demo btw Jon! I also look forward to checking out your presets. Cheers!
Thank you very much Jonathan, I was waiting for this review. I love the sound of the Nux MH300, I will buy one to play at home. As always, very well played :)

Hi Jonathan! thanks for your videos on the MG-300. After watching your videos, I've got one myself and totally love it. There are one thing that I can't seems to get to work. Nice demo Jon! How would you compare this unit to say something like a Boss ME-25 ? If they are even comparable...I just wanted something affordable to start up. My only concern with such effect pedal is whether they are responsive to the dynamics of the player. How do you feel about it?
It'is great but impossible to connect to computer. I tried it with 4 different cables but computer never sees it. I am using it since 19 months and there is not any other problem with this pedal. Btw i loved your tone (comes from finger), phrases and music. Imma deep dive to your channel.🙏👏

Would you consider as an upgrade from the podhd500? I was looking into a IR cab loader and i ended up here. Considering buying the mooer radar or the cheaper nux mini studio or i could just buy this mg300
That was a really great review. Definitely gonna buy one this Christmas. I have a question though, would I be able to use this as a usb interface with a bass guitar?
I don’t see why not, I don’t have a bass but I set up a bass preset with an octave pedal ( that was included in the last firmware update ) that I use to make my guitar sound like a bass for recording.
Have you had the chance to test the new Mg30 and do a A/B comparison against MG300? Which one do you think that has best Amp simulation? Is Mg30 a big step improvement? Thanks
Hey Jonathan, this is really cool! You mean I can also download your and other user presets? I came here because I recently bought the NUX MP-2 Mighty Plug amp and I have to say it is great tool for practicing. So I guess you can recommend this? Thank you.

Thanks✌️❤️
Can you use that editor(the one you use for effects inyour comp just like tone studion in boss)with smartphone? Can you do well with this on live.I pretty much don't change presets for a song. One preset and I'm good to go.Last is that do you think it is good quality material?I tjink that one stomp would kill this thing.Thanks@
nope..no smartphone app yet. And yes..this is really ahrdy...But wait for the next version..The NUX MG30
Nice demo Jon! How would you compare this unit to say something like a Boss ME-25 ? If they are even comparable...I just wanted something affordable to start up. My only concern with such effect pedal is whether they are responsive to the dynamics of the player. How do you feel about it?
I don’t really know as I have yet to try the ME..✌️❤️
Thank you for this wonderful video Jonathan 😊 Is there a gap when switching between the presets?
nope...quite smooth✌♥
You Rock Dude!!!
❤✌
It'is great but impossible to connect to computer. I tried it with 4 different cables but computer never sees it. I am using it since 19 months and there is not any other problem with this pedal.
Btw i loved your tone (comes from finger), phrases and music. Imma deep dive to your channel.🙏👏
Thank you and welcome to the channel! Try joining the NUX MG300 facebook page and ask your quetions there..They are sure to help you out! facebook.com/groups/nuxmg300group/
Hi Jon how do you minimize the feedback noise on Mg300😃
Try using the noise gate within the unit
Can you use the editor on a smart phone or does it gotta be a computer? Nice playing and great review..
So far there is no phone editor available✌️❤️
I tried plug in my phone to the mg300 aux in as backing track but, why is it the volume low even though my volume on my phone is on 100%?
Plz help

Would you consider as an upgrade from the podhd500? I was looking into a IR cab loader and i ended up here. Considering buying the mooer radar or the cheaper nux mini studio or i could just buy this mg300
Or wait for the NUX MG30!!✌️❤️
For home who needs a kemper lol. This is great. So so cheap
And good ✌️❤️
Thank you for the demo. Can the aux-in be recorded with the guitar signal at the same time through the same output?
I’m not too sure.. I can’t tell you as the unit is not with me.
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Thanks for the quick reply Jonathan!
Thanks for shootout! As I understand you can't change order of effects and amps, and there are no heads + cabinet, only amps?
Nope.. everything.. the works✌️❤️
@@JonIsJustTooLoud thanksss, so only amps right, no cabinets and heads?
Greetings i was wondering which would you prefer to buy the valeton gp100 or nux mg300?
The NUX ✌♥
Greetings and thanks, just wondering how useable this pedal is without the computer app.
it's useable✌
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Great thanks 😊
That was a really great review. Definitely gonna buy one this Christmas. I have a question though, would I be able to use this as a usb interface with a bass guitar?
I'm not too sure..the unit is not with me presently so I have no way to test😀
I don’t see why not, I don’t have a bass but I set up a bass preset with an octave pedal ( that was included in the last firmware update ) that I use to make my guitar sound like a bass for recording.
Wish I could play.
You will if you choose to start ✌️❤️
太棒了'讓我很清楚了解'謝謝

Have you had the chance to test the new Mg30 and do a A/B comparison against MG300? Which one do you think that has best Amp simulation? Is Mg30 a big step improvement? Thanks

funky playing! you got soul! Does the unit respond well to picking similar response to tube amps?
Yes.. not exactly but as close as most amp sim can get✌️❤️
Bravo again! Demo is great and your playing is just awesome. Mine is coming soon. Have you tried a bass guitar with it? Any preset included? Thanks!
Nice... no I have not✌️❤️
Hey Jonathan, this is really cool! You mean I can also download your and other user presets? I came here because I recently bought the NUX MP-2 Mighty Plug amp and I have to say it is great tool for practicing. So I guess you can recommend this? Thank you.
check out the newer MG30!
