4:17 to 4:47 was just heart wrenching. Injured and in a daze, fighting to stay alive he grabs his helmet ready to keep fighting before succumbing to his injuries. I... Wow.
You can see him get shot in the head if u pay attention to his helmet a bit of blood comes out

And people said that this game was bad I accidentally spotted this detail when I was going for one of the trophies on the first mission got me completely off guard

@@godzilla5512 Yeah I never found this game to be bad as everyone says is it. I got big Band of Brothers vibes from the whole "brothers in arms" theme they went for, and I liked the dynamic between Turner and Pierson straight out of Platoon. Plus small details like the shell shocked soldiers make it feel much more brutal.

When war broke out he joined the army to save his country when he had to, he fight for freedom, justice. All those fancy word's he didn't understand, He maked some friend's while in camp. But when they heard about the battle of normady they prayed to stay alive, When landing they saw was just blood and anarchy, the friend's made it through with some cover, but he was never seen, when searching through. One of them found him dead on the ground, they we're sad, she knew when she didn't recieve anymore letter's. Now she has to handle the shop, alone.

When germans invaded russia they did capture a generous amount of russian weaponry, mostly they captured the PPSH-41, sadly tho in the real invasion the germans did not use the russian weapons, majority of the russian weapons they captured were used in the Eastern Front not Western Front.

WWII is a banger game, but one thing I straight up cannot excuse is the fact that the AI never actually cycles the bolt on the Kar98k. You can clearly see here that they just pause between shots without actually doing anything with the rifle. It looks really awkward and obvious.
Maybe the decision to actually arm the Germans with the Kar98k was a late development decision or something (like maybe they were planned to use the SVT-40 in the early levels too?). Either way tho its a very big fuck-up for such a minor detail to get right.
I can forgive it, from a cinimatic standpoint yea it stands out like a sore thumb, but in game its not like you would be close enough to the germans to actually see them doing this
Actually they do,if you get in cover near a German and hide but still see them,they will shoot at a ally,and you can see they actually do cycle the bolt.
Edit:sometimes they don’t,but most of the time they do.

It's bad enough that WWII games (and COD in particular) stick so heavily to the Saving Private Ryan portrayal of Omaha beach (despite how many things it got so wrong), but they didn't even get the sounds right. Which is one thing Saving Private Ryan did really well. I'm amazed that games centered around war ever get the sounds wrong these days, because so many of them having been doing it right that they really should have all figured it out by now.
