I’ve got a pair of tachi in my collection. Love them both! Though I do prefer the katana/wakizashi combo, tachi are still gorgeous swords in their own right.
So after 9 surgeries I was told my martial arts love was over with I discovered your channel through my wife she kept encouraging me not to give up went through a lot of physical therapy better known as torture 101 I started training with the hanbo and a bo watching your videos being motivated by you sincerely thank you so much
That's what I want in my small collection of Japanese Swords a Tachi with the Incomparable curve and heavy duty fittings. Well done Sir, you have an exceptional sword collection. 🌟💯👍🙏
You speak true : The katana wins by its legendary simplicity. It's unique and absolutely beautiful. The tachi fascinates me by the extreme gracefully martial curve of its blade as well, and by its appearance a little older than the katana. The tachi systematically reminds me of the gesture of Benkei and Yoshitsune while the katana, for example, systematically reminds me of Bokuden, the genius of Kanto, even so well known the 47 Ronin of Ako ...

Wow, that sure is a very beautiful tachi! This video has been very enlightening. I was wondering if you can make a video on how to properly tie the sageo onto the ashis so that the sageo can be looped around the waist. :)
Hello. There are Judo techniques in Budo (since Budo is far older), but they are just a small part of our vast art. Budo is warrior art from Japan. Not at all designed for sports.
Shidoshi...I wish ..truly...on the taich. Would they not also hang onto horses so they could draw and fight from the horse thank you you do not know how much I enjoy
I need a Tachi in my life the more curve the better
I like my Tachis like I like my women...
I like 'em sharp, deadly, and beautiful

I've heard these are the true Japanese war swords the Katanas are just for display mainly.
Sounds like a Tachi giveaway coming soon 🤣✌️
Would it be better for a tachi to have a fuller or no fuller? (Bohi)
No fuller is my preference, making the blade beefier for armor.
