I just rode one from London to Cape Town and beyond. Alone at the age of 72. 18 weeks. 11,000 miles through mountains, rivers, desert, jungle, equatorial rain forests, teeming shambolic cities and some indescribably bad "roads". 18 weeks. It started first time every morning. I changed the oil frequently, changed the brake pads, sprockets chain, air filter, headlamp bulb and one sprocket bolt (sheared off by a rock). That's all. Then I put it on a ship in Cape Town and collected it 4 months later from Tilbury. Again it started first time. It's safe to say I can recommend it.
Congratulations ! Would have made a fascinating video. Importantly, it proves a real point......a lot can be done on a 125, and a Chinese one at that !
In 2019 my useless GP convinced me that I had Parkinsons, so as a lifelong biker determined to carry on to the end I decided to get a 125. I liked the look of the ZSB as soon as I saw it, as it has a distinctive styling of its own and is not straining itself to look like a race rep or a trail bike. Because of Covid it took me nearly a year to find out that I only had a minor condition, but I kept the ZSB because it is such a handy little thing, and it saves me a fortune in everyday use. My experience has been almost identical to yours and I have enjoyed this bike a great deal. I have fitted a few upgrades, mainly because I live in Norfolk where local farmers are on a mission to cover the roads with crap, so upgrades to tyres, chain and a front mud flap to stop nasty organic stuff from getting baked on to the engine, 6,000 mls so far and it has never missed a beat, and zipped through two MOTs. I bought this little bike to ride till the end and I probably will, but the end is hopefully now further off.
Hats off to you sir! Biker till the end 👊 You are absolutely right! I love that the ZSB is not in your face, not too show offy and not trying to be a race rep etc, it is a pure, 125 riding experience! If I were to keep it, I would certainly invest in some upgrades. When you ride the 200cc and 250 these style Chinese bike u just appreciate it. It travels far as 400k at once on very rugged terrain. If you got original spoke rims on this u will love it
My first bike was Chinese.... Haotian 125cc. I changed a few things like the chain, spark plug, oil and drilled out the exhaust to sound a bit meaty! Lovely bike if you look after it, and ideal for a beginner.

In South Africa you have Big Boy (Senke) 125 & 200 cc which is identical except drum brake rear tyre speedo Kms diferent paint work .also sold in Russia with a 150cc engine In South Africa Priced at R 21000 & R24000 (plus minus 1000 Pds Same warranty.

I bought a Suzuki HN 125 made in their factory in China.I also bought all the spare parts on Aliexpress that were likely to go wrong with it, Like a 150 upgrade head spare carb throttle electrics etc. It has been three years of utter reliability, I havent used any of the spares and considering, that clones of the HN and the Honda 125 are the main bikes in China the spares are like free compared to Western bikes, and the build quality is good, I have changed the oil and filter,tightened the chain and reset the tappets.I also got a larger front sprocket which boots the MPG up somewhere around 115 mpg , I could probably get it around 125mpg on a long run. I think one of these type of bikes are the thing to have if it all turns to crap.
Ah i do miss the fun of a 125cc Pretty much full throttle everywhere and throw it into bends. It's definitely a good idea to get better tyres. For commuting in all weather and price to performance i always went for metzeler me22 on my cg125.
That's exactly it! When I'm on my Bandit if I want to go full throttle, I have to make sure the road is clear! Where as, on the 125 you can go full throttle everywhere! Thank you for watching! - Drew
I've got a Chinese bike Pioneer 125 king possible the same Lafan CG developed engine with twin exhaust port.Had it for 3 years comfortable and reliable old sled.
I have had the exact same bike but my one was Keeway c light 125. Very identical to this 125cc. It was very comfy at lower speeds and quite economical but sold it and bought a tractor 🚜 😅
Miss my 2022 ZSB, had it for about 6 months until I crashed it. So sadly the dealer ship mugged me off. So I lost lots of money on it. I now got an Lexmotot Titan 125 Scooter, but loooking to get another ZSB soon.
I've been riding my ZSB since April 23 & I love it so much that I've commuted on it right through winter. Going to sell my car, do my test & get a bigger bike, but I won't get rid of my ZSB. The only issue I've had in 5K is that it has a tendency to blow headlight bulbs now & then?

I would normally say try to find a used one (I found one less than a year old) but at that price, knowing you are the only person that has owned it, I'd say go for it! I didn't unfortunately. I did two runs but the road wasn't long enough. I put the bike up for sale as I was planning a different road to find to do the 0-60 run, and it sold quicker than I thought so I never got to finish the video 😭 Thank you for watching! - Drew
