Climbing Mount Olympus - We Made It To The Top
Watch as we leave our Overnight refuge halfway up the mountain to continue our trek to the summit of Mount Olympus, Greece's Tallest Mountain.
In Episode 2 we brave ridiculously cold conditions, unstable ground and crazy winds to make it to the top of Skala Peak. That being said climbing Mount Olympus was an incredible experience and one we will remember for ever. The sense of achievement we both felt after making it to the top is truly something special. It was without doubt the highlight of our Greek Adventure.

Some things to know if you plan on climbing Mount Olympus-
We Stayed in Katerini and drove to the base of Mount Olympus.
Wear Layers, Skala Peak is freezing, so cold we could barely work our camera, also bring gloves. Learn from our mistake.
The refuge is E13 for the night and E3 for sheets, if you have a sleeping bag then you probably won't need the sheets. They also provide 3 heavy blankets per person, the refuge bedrooms have no heat, it gets cold.
Be Careful coming down, its harder than you think.
Bring Snacks and Water, but not too much. We overpacked. The refuge sells food also. Anything we haven't covered please leave a question in the comment section.
