I'm just here because I'm writing a novel where the characters go there, so I really needed a guide on the route and reference to what it looks like. Thank you, traveler, you're a savior.

Will we be able to do the last part and reach peak of mount olymp? We have no ropes nor experience in their usage :o
Hi! It's hard to say. I would suggest going with a guide and they can help you with all the ropes and show to the best routes up. There were many novice climbers hiking to the top, but they were usually in good physical shape and with a group.
Great video! Thanks for sharing. I will do a 1 day hike with a guide and 9 friends on 30-9-2022. Myself an 2 others have some fear of heights, how is this for the more technical part of the highest peak. Just to mentally prepare haha.
For the most part, there aren't any points on the the climb with extreme drop-offs. If you're going with a guide, I'm sure there will also be the option to hold onto a rope, making it much more secure. Not sure if I'm qualified to give advice on overcoming a fear of heights haha 😅

Hey Seyi, I didn't use either, but It's highly recommended to at least wear a helmet for Mytikas with the danger of falling rocks. Many climbers opt for ropes also. On the way down there were a couple steep & slippery areas that require caution - for these you could bring a rope to be sure. Hope this helps :)

Would the refuge let you use the facilities if so do you think (toilets, food etc) and leave your bag with them and collect it on the way down? I appreciate you may not be able to answer all the questions!
Hey Ben, I don’t know about wild camping, but there were a number of people who legally camped outside refuge A in tents. I believe they were allowed access to facilities as they are outside around the back anyways. Since I stayed the night within the refuge, they held onto my bag for the day.
