Thank you Kathy, it’s true and we are not throwing away anything really - our stables are absolutely jam packed with bits of wood and allsorts now 🤷♀️😂One day it will all be repurposed on the farm side we are sure

Good job there with all of the metal! It's a huge job isn't it? Using the tiles for borders is an insider over, they look great. I'm having a bit of garden envy, your kitchen garden is absolutely amazing! All due to the work you put into it. Is that borage I see growing throughout the garden? What do you use it for? It's an amazing bee plant, I do know that. And you can't go past marigolds for bug control! Great to see you again, big hugs 🤗♥️🤗
Hello Karen, yes it’s borage, the bees love it! I use it as a herbal tea and the flowers are edible but I don’t care for them in salads much. The star of the pollinators is comfrey right now - and that’s the flower the bees are going crazy for in the video!
Looks great from the border planting framing the driveway to the stones on the driveway. Garden is impressive, and future guests will enjoy taking a look around. My family told a group about your Chateau traveling to the region.

Nice to see you all back. Nothing like keeping a few English traditions especially when it comes to a English Sunday roast dinner with all the trimmings and it tastes even better when you've grown it yourself. Its amazing how a few truck loads of chippings can transform your drive. Xxx
Hi Cherie, absolutely, quite a lot more to do still, but it looks so much better. What makes it work better though is the plant border so working on filling that out over the next few months with the home grown perennials now
@@renovatingthechateau yes I forgot to mention the borders, great use of the tiles for edging. Ive been splitting some perennials myself but have put them in pot until the new patios are finished. Then I'll make some raised beds to put them all in. Nothing like free plants x
I grew almost half of what’s gone in so we are chuffed with that! Some roses have been relocated and a few annuals so far for colour but let’s hope it develops. The heat hasn’t been kind to the French lavender but ironically the English type is thriving

Well ironically the gravel here is one of the things that’s cheaper than in the UK (we can’t say that about much in France except wine of course!)
Your gardens certainly flourished - how lovely. The driveway will look very nice when completed, so far it's great andlove the use of the tiles for edging. Always fun to see progress in everyone's chateau.
