Loved seeing this room completed, I did remember Julian breaking his arm some time back. The mattress was a surprise. You both amaze me with your ability....I remember you starting on your plastering journey and now you are explaining the process like a pro. Enjoying following your adventures again.

It's great to see you are back with your chateau renovations, which has to be my favourite genre. Having said that I have subscribed to your gardening channel also because I watched when you first started planning out your farm garden. Can't wait to see both your channels grow.

With all the work you are doing and such high ceilings, I suggest you invest in scaffolding. The time it would save you would be worth the investment and it is a one time investment. Over the years it will more than pay for itself.
We do have scaffolding - you can see it at one stage in the vlog. But you can’t plaster on scaffolding - you have to move it just the same as a ladder so it the same problem really. A ladder is more manoeuvrable, as with interior scaffolding you have to use a ladder to access the scaffolding. Thank you for watching we appreciate it
Not really a fan of the pink and wallpaper, but it's all a matter of preference. The room needs an area rug partially tucked under the bed to anchor everything instead of the 2 small throw rugs.

Ha ha - I’m too slow and my hands are too small to make plastering a full-time gig! Yeah we spoke to the Mairie on the gun we found and as it’s not working it’s fine to keep as a ‘find’! 👍

Hello Pamela, due to it now being a guest room (Holly now has a different room) it did need protection for the high traffic and now after some time it has muted back to a nice tone too x
