Well done Captain Rob OOH looks very complicated especially the section on the cabain struts which foxed me!! But you'll whiz through it as soon as Bixler Phil starts helping Lol
#6: So,, let the build begin, I got a feeling that this is gone be a long and time consuming build Rob, but of cours its gone be a beauty when she is finished I'm sure. Greetings and happy holidays to all the geeks ! !
A good start Rob,I remember well the late Dave Boddington test flying this model at Old Warden with an old diesel engine up front many many years ago,he built a whole series of different sized Sopwith Pup's finishing with a monster quarter scale beauty and even a full sized replica that is now at Stow Maries WW1 aerodrome,he built that for another film and they fitted a large electric motor in it for taxying, the model you have has great pedigree and they fly really well on electric power wafting around the sky it will look superb flying over your beach site. That is annoying about the screws for the motor I have just looked at my stock but nothing countersunk to help you with, shame on the checkers it happens a lot with Hobbyking a friend has just received an EDF model with no motor in it !
We had to have the correct wheels Rob! I am feeling 17 episodes on this one minimum. Unless someone coughs up for the decal pack i reckon we will have another 3 episodes of you hand painting the roundels etc! 😀😀
