Pup looks great with the top wing on and it still looks bigger than I expected!! Well done Rob and Bixler Phil.

What a pretty looking plane I think that everytime I see here on film as well as at the hanger (shed as you call it Lol).
Hopefully my back will give me a break soon so I can add a little hand again on her build (not that I have little hands...well compared to Phil's my hands are tiny Lol)
I like the wheels, the paint looked OK'ish but the covering works and looks much better as commented by Angel.
You done really well today thats a majour step closer to her 1'st flight can't wait for the maiden, I love the tube mounting system for the wing it's unique and very intuitive. Right I'm off chocs away keep up the great work and don't let Bixler Phil eat all the biscuits Lol.

Captain Rob, you really have your foot on the gas pedal now that you're getting close to finishing! Please don't rush the maiden for us. She's too nice a plane and I'll happily wait until your weather is good! Just curious though, will the maiden be at the beach or are you going to the field for this one? Beach looks a little rough on camera anyway?
I have noticed that poor Phil is hiding his hands when he's on camera. He should be flaunting them, the ladies notice that shit!

You cannot beat saddle clamps they are time proven especially on biplane fixings like this one,I would never have thought of Solartex for covering wheel centres ? but as long as it works and after all they were cloth covered in real life to protect and streamline the spokes, this has been a most successful and interesting build hope you enjoy flying this little biplane it is most attractive, one question as I could not quite make out what you said in the adhesive used to stick down the litho plate ? what make was it again please, also you never mentioned what you used to do the cockpit coaming, probably split electrical wire ? carry on regardless and get your flying goggles out ready !

UHU POR And the coaming is a cheat. i just use black wire. i didnt split it and put it over the edge. i just stuck it on top ;o)

Ah yes Uhu Por ! brilliant adhesive I have a stash of that which I use on depron builds, black wire looks good, amazing what can be used for detailing, still trying to work out what this Keil Kraft kit is ? if it is a Spectre then they fly well with R/C,it is a beautiful shaped model.
