Really Italy as it all, from the unique beauty of a city created on the water as Venice, Rome the eternal city Museum, the elegance of Milan and Como Lake, the Magic of Pisa and then the colours of Napoli, it's music, history and positive vibes...Italy is an open air Museum, Napoli its Teather, Umbria and Perugia is essence..charm and love, Italy.

Love Umbria, the hillrowns, the history, the natural landscape, the food, the Galaxy of pretty villages. I managed to visit it in 2020, with the "situation" already in full swing; now, even tho I'm Italian and living in Italy, I cannot travel for tourism to the nearest region, let alone drive for 3-4 hours in some actual direction... Many thanks for the videos, they bring back better times, even when the better times are still in the pandemic...

I participated many years ago in the Summer Clinics of Berklee of Boston as a singer and in every corner of Perugia there are concerts at all hours and the "street bands"! Fabulous! Perugini are very friendly! This video is a gift today! Thanks a lot!

Thank you for this beautiful video. No music or silly person being a distraction. The captions are right on. We were in Perugia in February and had to leave early for the pandemic. My favorite store was Umbro by the old hospital. They serve lunch or dinner cafeteria style with Umbrian products. Get a bottle of Umbrian white wine and watch the world go by. Plus they are one of the few places In Italy that lets you use the bathroom without paying. Take a side trip by bus to Gubbio - the prettiest town in Italy.
Lecce is an idea for a future video. Dusk is magical in Lecce with the stone.
    Thanks again.

@@02markcal Do not loose hope, pandemic will end, travels will be possible again. Besides Perugia is really cheap, you can find a hotel for 40€ a day (airbnb even less) and a decent dinner in a normal restaurant will cost you about 30€. The easiest way to go is flying to London and then to Perugia, the cost of flight London-Perugia can be even like 10€ and it is short, about 2h (RyanAir). A lot of American, British and Russian came for holidays... and then stayed forever, it is worth it to travel here.

WE think we know so much about architecture but we would be hard pressed to create that aqueduct
which runs uphill and make a well like this Etruscan one with its massive overhead stone roof without modern powered equipment.
So much of the worlds ancient structures show a sophistication which modern engineers cannot
explain without saying they had must have had lost mystical skills or were helped by aliens.
The truth is, in My opinion, they were as smart or smarter than our so called sophisticated builders today.
When I saw the name Perugia ,I immediately thought of the candy confections , not ithe History...yikes!
    Thank you for
the tour which is less claustrophobic than some of the others:)
    Cheers,
    Rik Spector
