Love Umbria, the hillrowns, the history, the natural landscape, the food, the Galaxy of pretty villages. I managed to visit it in 2020, with the "situation" already in full swing; now, even tho I'm Italian and living in Italy, I cannot travel for tourism to the nearest region, let alone drive for 3-4 hours in some actual direction... Many thanks for the videos, they bring back better times, even when the better times are still in the pandemic...
Yeah, we've been feeling pretty trapped here but for the last few weeks have been trying to get out as much as possible here. Last week we went down to Naples and today we went down to Pozzuoli. It is nice to get out.
The perfection of the recording is at the top level, from beginning to the end. Impossible to record a video without any cut like this. Many thanks for your all time and effort for amazing record and edit for this video. Regards from London..
I really appreciate that. I am always trying to improve. Sometimes the camera moves where I don't want it but because these walks are one continuous video, I just leave it as it is. I'm glad you are enjoying the videos though. Next one will be of Agropoli.
@@ProWalks Man, this is my dream of visiting other countries. Not really about filming but just walking around the place to see its full beauty. Thank you for sharing this kind of feeling with us.
Was there in Sept. 2019, unfortunately only for half a day (bus tour from Rimini). Would have liked to stay longer... such a beautiful town with a wonderful landscape around.I really love Italy, greetings from Coburg, Germania
Linda Perugia!
Ottimo lavoro!!
Wow!! I'm so intrigued with Italy now since I've found been watching your videos. Thank you for literally taking me to another place other than Minnesota in the cold😉❤
For most of us, this will be as close as we ever get to seeing/walking Perugia, so much history, think of the people hundreds of years ago and hundreds of years in the future that have and will walk these same cobblestones, seeing the same architecture.
@@02markcal Do not loose hope, pandemic will end, travels will be possible again. Besides Perugia is really cheap, you can find a hotel for 40€ a day (airbnb even less) and a decent dinner in a normal restaurant will cost you about 30€. The easiest way to go is flying to London and then to Perugia, the cost of flight London-Perugia can be even like 10€ and it is short, about 2h (RyanAir). A lot of American, British and Russian came for holidays... and then stayed forever, it is worth it to travel here. Trust me, I live here since 1986 :)
@@taylorc4598 Hey, thanks Taylor for taking the time to share that advice. I'm from the USA and I'm Italian, so that would make the trip extra special. Thank you for your videos. Perugia and Umbria is beautiful. I studied the Italian language there 40 years ago, so this was nostalgia for me. Drawn back in time.
Another wonderfui walk to watch. I know much of Italy is still locked down. It would be a great time for you to do a Q&A video. You could solicit the questions ahead of time and answer at your convenience and your choice. Thanks again.
Wow I never realised how many beautiful hill towns there are around Italy until I discovered your Channel. I have some serious travelling to catch up on once this darn pandemic is over. Thanks for all the great great videos you post and well done keeping a steady camera. Its made my lockdown life much more interesting enjoyable.
Tuscany is a gorgeous region, but a bit overwhelmed by tourism. Umbria, however, seems hidden away by comparison, and it is equally as rich in many aspects. Besides Perugia, there is Gubbio nearby, and a number of small, but enchanting places like Cortona, or Urbino, and, of course, there is Assisi. Umbria is the place where wine, as we know it, was created, way before the Romans, by the Etruscans, and where one eats the best black truffles in Italy for very reasonable prices.
Ahhhhhhh City of my youth! This beautiful historic town was home to me for a few months while studying there on a Scholarship.... a while back. Beautiful then....Beautiful now! Thank you for this amazing treat! 🙏

Thanks for looking side to side and down streets even if you don't walk down them. Much better for we the viewers. It's a truly lovely city, Perugia. I've very much enjoyed the time I spent there. Personally, my choice would have been to not include the scandal story. I'm sure a lot of the citizens of Perugia would rather it disappears down the rabbit hole of history. But I suppose there's not much chance of that happening, unfortunately.
Hey, glad you enjoyed the walk. Yeah, maybe I'll take that out. I thought about it before I wrote it all, but finally decided that it was now a part of Perugia's history whether they like it or not so I went with it. The case was even just in the news a few days ago. Anyway, I'll think about it. Thanks for watching though and taking the time to comment.
